Situated in Myrtle Beach, this charming condo for $233 per night is a great option for your next break. My calendar and rates are up to date. The dates you request are available if the Calendar shows them to be available. Our units are being prepared and cleaned per CDC recommendations. About the condo: We just remodeled this unit in 2022 with new tile and painting throughout as well as a completely redone bathroom with new 2 sink vanity, shower, toilet with upgraded furniture! Direct oceanfront, one bedroom/one bathroom located right on the Ocean with a very nice balcony right on the ocean. The name of the building is Meridian Plaza. Meridian Plaza is one of the most established resorts in the center of the beach resort area. It is located within a short walk to tons of activities including amusements, shops, restaurants, arcades as well as 'Broadway at the Beach' are all near by. Also a short distance away you will find The Carolina Opry, The Legends, NASCAR, Ripley's Aquarium, Multi-screen Movie Theater and many more activities. Meridian is just a few blocks to the new boardwalk. This unit is one of the best decorated & well maintained units in the entire building. There is a full kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher and a number of small appliances. There is a smart TV in the living room and the bedroom has a flat screen TVs. We recently replaced the AC to be quieter. There are 2 full beds in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The unit looks gorgeous and ready for your enjoyment. Free wireless internet is also available inside the unit. Enjoy the sound & spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean from your private balcony, living room, dining room and kitchen. The resort has both indoor & outdoor pools and hot tubs. There is a beautiful beach and oceanfront lawn area with comfortable lounge chairs that will make this place a memorable and relaxing vacation resort. If you are interested in booking this condo: Click on the 'Book it' button and follow the instructions. The site will offer the option for you to buy cancellation protection and damage protection. It is totally up to you to take advantage of this or not. After this, you will have to read and agree with the rental agreement before you are able to pay. The first deposit will be 25% of the balance paid with a credit card to complete the reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to your check in date. This property is Smoke Free. Everything is good as usual the only issue this time was the door is very difficult to operate and there was a large gap allowing the wind to whistle through a couple nights. We have to pull the door hard to close it with the lock.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything that we needed, including a location on the beach with beautiful views. Kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The refrigerator is a good size. We were there at the end of September, so it was very quiet.

The accommodations were adequate. Nice balcony with a great view. Instructions for the TV would have been helpful for those not familiar with that particular service. The unit could use some potholders. Didn’t see any. Overall the weather was great and we had a good time!

The place is nicely furnished and has everything a family of 4 would need. Beds are quite comfortable and the air conditioning works really well, doesn't feel at all damp like many beach hotels do. Kitchen is very small but manageable for a vacation stay. The pull out sofa is a plus but a bit weak so best for your little kids to be on and have fun. The patio outside is the luxury here as it is relaxing and a nice overlook for the beach.
Meridian plaza itself is very nice. Pools are clean and hot tub is very hot! The attached store is great to have and parking is easy.
Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The room had furniture that was very dirty and did not want to sit on it. The tv only had one channel decided not watch. We don’t go on vacation to have someone come fix tv. The refrigerator sort of sits in a weird spot. When you open the door it pulls away from wall toward the middle of room. The sofa sleeper mattress had springs you could feel when you laid on it and brown marks on pad. The bathroom ceiling needed repair work that was started never finish. The bedroom had two beds in a room that was built to be a one bedroom unit very small. We only had 6 towels for four people. That would be ok if unit had washer and dryer but when you have to go to laundry room every day, that’s not enough.The elevator broke so we only had one for a while. hallways and elevator very dirty with bugs. Just not what we are use too. Stay away is my advice

The views from the balcony are beautiful. The apartment was as advertised and nice and clean. We have a family of four, so the 2 beds and pull out couch worked out perfect. Going from the apartment down to the beach and then to the pools and hot tubs was very easy and well kept. We would definitely recommend. Thank you to the owner.

The online photos and description accurately describe this property. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed our time at the beach. I appreciated how the property owner had a variety of small kitchen appliances as well as beach chairs and toys for guests to use. The only criticism is that I wish we had more than 6 bath towels for 4 people to use for 5 nights. They never fully dried out. But that's a "high-class problem" as they say. If it bothered me that much, I could have used the laundry room. (I didn't.) Overall, a nice family-friendly property.

The view and accessibility to the ocean was top-notch.
The condo had multiple deficiencies, was old, tired, frumpy, uncomfortable, stained, peeling paint, rusted microwave, insufficient kitchen tools/dishes, closet full of owner stuff thus minimal room for storage, closet doors did not close properly, main door had light and wind blowing all around it necessitating a towel to stop the wind and dust, light and noise from the hallway made it difficult to sleep, main door deadbolt very difficult to close door, headboard falling off, kitchen chair broken as well as patio chair, no cable tv for first 10 days despite informing owner on second day in, burst pipe and flood in kitchen, musty odour, very,very uncomfortable furniture which was stained and dirty. etc. etc.
I was devastated and mortified as this condo in no way depicted what was in the picture. Shame on this landlord!!!! I would not have stayed except it was impossible to get a refund and i had to make the best of a horrific situation. I cancelled friends and family visits due to the disgusting conditions of this rental. I am not sure if i will ever use VRBO again due to this experience.

Good location close to a few restaurants and a Starbucks. Had to walk their bedroom to get to the kitchen and living room but we didn’t mind bc there was just two of us. 1 of 2 elevators was broken the week we were there so we had to walk outside in the cold rain on the 11th floor to get to our room. But that’s not the owners fault. We had 1 minor issue with the coffee pot but the owner had the cleaning crew give us a new one. Place was a good value for the money compared to other places our friends were staying in the same area.

This was our first time ever using vrbo or being to Myrtle Beach and we chose the right place. Outside of a few cosmetic issues in the condo that I brought to the owners attention it couldn't have been more perfect for us.

Partially renovated, great view condo. Loved how the bedroom was separated from the rest of the unit. Everything was in working order and clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but got used to it. Has everything in it for our weeks stay. I would definitely stay here again!!

It was very clean, peaceful, and comfortable! We had a great view of the ocean, as well. We were close to all of the excitement of Myrtle Beach with the Boardwalk being less than a mile away from us. We had everything we needed right there!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Myrtle Beach this year. Our rental was very clean and we were provided with more “essentials” then we could use. The room offers a beautiful view of the ocean with windows on both sides of the sliding door to the balcony, also making the living room and kitchen area bright and airy. My son enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. It’s a good location, close to the boardwalk but a lot quieter area. I would definitely recommend!

For a quick stay it’s ok. I was not impressed. Pictures made it look more updated and more spacious than it really was. It’s more of an efficiency. Wouldn’t recommend for a weeks stay just a short weekend.

There is nothing substantially wrong with the property or building per se, but there are a lot of little things that do start to add up. Having stayed in numerous VRBOs, Myrtle Beach units, and hotels over the years, I know my concerns are valid.
While the updates to the unit are good (flooring, bathroom), the kitchen still leaves a lot to be desired-if you're cooking for more than two people or more than a simple breakfast, you will struggle. And the penny pinching on the refurb is obvious-the bathroom door has so many snot-rockets, smudges, and dings that it's obvious this is the old door. A fresh coat of paint would have gone a long way...
The entire building is now VRBO/etc, so there is no 'lobby' per se, there are no towels at the pool (BYO only-but you're told not to remove the towels from the unit), and there is no daily maid service. We knew there was no daily maid service (and generally, we are more than fine with this), but the microscopic bar of soap and one tiny container of shampoo barely lasted us a two showers. Usually, when you stay at a VRBO, there are left behind shampoos/conditioners you can use, but there was nothing here-it's clear, they clean the place out after every use. Same in the kitchen...salt/pepper, and that was it. No oil, seasonings...etc. Mind you, given my previous comment about the kitchen, it ended up not being an issue, but if you really did plan to use the kitchen, you'd have to buy or bring literally every item you'd want to cook/consume.
Balcony maintenance stated promptly at 9am every day during the week (good luck sleeping in), which shut the outdoor pool/hot tub area down from 9a-5p during the week as well. And, while this didn't happen to us, we spoke with people who couldn't even use their balcony while they were there, as there was maintenance being done. Imagine paying for an ocean front/ocean view room, and not being able to use the balcony. In a hotel, you'd easily be able to switch rooms...but in a VRBO? You literally get what you pay for.
Please understand: We don't have an ax to grind. Everything was ok. Just ok.
But, what I do know is that Myrtle Beach+VRBO=not for us. The biggest VRBO benefits for me are a kitchen (which, almost all Myrtle Beach rentals have) and cost (it's usually a few $ a night cheaper when compared with hotel pricing). In hindsight, I'd rather pay a few $ more and know that I'm staying somewhere that hasn't cut service to the bone.

DO NOT RENT! Mold in hall ceiling and bathroom ceiling of this unit.
We arrived Saturday, October 16th around 5:30 p.m. We called the owners immediately upon entering the unit and seeing the mold as my son is highly allergic to mold and the unit was uninhabitable. The owner first said it was dust coming out of the vents, but then said he bleached the mold. After many conversations, the owner did switch us to another unit as compensation, charging an extra $100 to do so. He then called Wednesday of our stay and told us to get out because they had other renters who wanted the replacement unit. They even threatened to call the police on myself, my 83 year old mother and my 15 year old son. I did not doubt for a moment that they would call the police. Although we were in the right, I did not want to put my son through such a traumatic experience, so we did leave. They told us we could go back to the first unit, that they had changed out the moldy tiles. However, being in property management for 30 years, I know they did not repair at the source causing the mold. My son is highly allergic to mold and it could've cost him his life if we went back.
After all of the money I have lost in having to get another hotel room that did not have appliances and losing all of our groceries, and having to eat out for all of our meals, they have only offered not to charge the $100 that we were going to pay extra for the replacement condo. She did say that she would base a refund on me giving a good review, which l see as a bribe. However, in good conscience I cannot give a good review, even with her threat of giving me a bad review if I left them a bad review. Whatever that means.
RUN from this unit and from these owners. This has been the worst renting experience that I have ever had. I have contacted VRBO and filed a complaint.
I do have screenshots of all messages between the owner and myself that I'm happy to share. This is just a small part of my experience with these owners. Again, run, don't walk from these owners.

Couch was a bit old and sunken in, but still decen. The location of this place is in the heart of the sky rises and if you are looking for tranquility this is not the area for you. If you're going to the beach for a quick weekend and just want somewhere 3 stars to stay because you know you won't be in your room very much then this is your place.
