Situated in Maggie Valley, this lovely house for $158 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Relax and enjoy the mesmerizing mountain views from the large deck of this newly furnished 2/2 that can sleep 8 comfortably. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom. A bunk bed with a queen bottom and twin top in quest bedroom. A queen futon, and a queen sleeper sofa. The best of both worlds.. completely private home located close to many popular attractions. Perfect for a summer getaway, Leaf Season, or winter skiing and tubing! Enjoy the Biltmore House and Gardens, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Snow Tubing, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Railroad, Championship Golf, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, gem mining, Ghost Town in the Sky, and Wheels Thru Time Museum. Shopping, antiquing, and dining in Maggie Valley, Asheville, Waynesville and Dillsboro are what make this visit exciting in the day and relaxing in the evening. Only one hour away on the other side of the Smoky Mountains National Park you can visit Dollywood and Gatlinburg if you want to adventure just a little farther. This newly furnished home is for families with children or invite another family and make it twice the fun. The second floor offers a queen bed, loft with a futon and a full bathroom. The main level is spacious and open with a high ceiling, gas logs, and a fully stocked kitchen and dining area. This level offers a bedroom with bunk beds (twin and full mattresses) and a full bathroom. Within this room is my monkey's jungle gym as seen in photos. This it not safe for children and I am not liable if any injuries occur while children play on it. The views from the deck are spectacular, and a fire pit and gas grill are there for you to enjoy. Included are TV’s with satellite in the family room and upstairs bedroom, and free WiFi for your internet needs. Cards, games, chess and checkers. A relaxing time away from the everyday race to get to know each other again will bring you back time and time again.

The house stay and location were great!
The drive way made me a bit nervous it’s very steep with sharp turns and we were in a big SUV. Don’t let the driveway detour you from this property-just be aware. Love the views from the cabin and the local restaurants were yummo! Will be on our return list for sure

Cabin was clean and beds comfortable. Drive up was a little steep for flat land people. We had one little issue with getting the TV to work but our host was very attentive and helped us resolve the problem quickly. Thanks for a enjoyable stay.

This was a great place to stay for hillbilly fest. There was a steep ride to the house. Glad we left our motorcycles home. Some of the carpet was stained and i think they have a money. Alot of white hair in the couch. But very quite. No yard amd very steep trip to the firepit.

Perfect place for a few days of relaxation
Property manager was just a text away to assist with anything we needed
The road to the home was a little scary but we managed it with our SUV and trailer with motorcycle
Views were awesome and the people of Maggie Valley were very friendly

The views were absolutely stunning! The cabin is perched partially right on an edge so extremely exclusive. I will say this southern beach bum about had a heart attack the first time driving up but im not even remotely use to roads like that. After that first drive in i was fine though! 100% worth every bit of it!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 7 . Very clean ! Cherokee and Bryson city was close by and we visited there as well . Enjoyed the fire pit and the magnificent view especially at night! Will rent again

I would definitely stay again if I don’t plan on sharing with a friend that expects his/her own room. She stayed in the downstairs room on the bottom bunk which she said wasn’t very comfortable. Perfect for children but not adults.
However I did feel badly, and apologized, that her 7 lb Yorkie poo left some “tootsie roll” poops that we didn’t see to clean up before we left.

We choose the Mountain Side cabin as our mini vacation during the Labor Day holiday and we were very happy with the cabin. We waited till two days before the holiday to try to rent this cabin and Todd made everything simple.
This cabin had all the amenities listed, we were especially glad there was a washer and dryer due to the rainy weather and getting muddy after a hike. The location was great, not far from shopping in Maggie Valley. The view from the living room and master bedroom windows were gorgeous, especially at night with other cabins lit up on the side of the mountain - definitely something worth seeing. We loved eating breakfast at The Buttered Biscuit, the food was delicious and the wait wasn't terrible. It was a quick drive to Cherokee (approx. 20 minutes) through the beautiful "curvy" mountain roads. We had a very relaxing trip and would definitely recommend the Mountain Side Log Cabin.

The cabin was very clean and in great shape when we arrived. All communication we had with the owner was very prompt and helpful. The location was perfect for us to take advantage of the things to do around Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay. We liked that we could easily access to the parks and also close to places to eat and stores. Great turn around spot in the driveway. Nice fire pit to end the day. Only thing recommend is that you bring your own cookware if you plan to use the kitchen. Would defiantly rent again.

We had a fantastic time at this amazing house. The place has a stunning view of Maggie Valley, and no scary mountain roads to deal with. (Paved, even the driveway!). Futon in loft and sofa sleeper suitable for kids. Upstairs really hot. Sheets stained, no washcloths in upstairs and 3 in downstairs bathroom. Sofa and chair are not new now, and not comfortable to sit and visit. And not adequate to accommodate the 8 the cabin boast it sleeps. Pots and pans are cheap and extremely scratched. Utensils cheap and steak knives won’t cut. If you can afford to rent these cabins, you’re not going to steal their stuff. No chairs to utilize the lovely fire pit. Shame. Overall it’s a great place though. Wish we had tons more time. I’d rent it again If I knew it had clean and updated things.

We spent a lot of time on the porch looking at the mountains. We had a wonderful, relaxing time! Did a lot of own cooking and was very pleased with the kitchen! Upstairs bed clean and comfy!
Suggest vacuum window sills. Lots of bugs. Wash upstairs bath outer shower curtain because it is smelly and stained. Door stoop off kitchen could use cleaning. Lots of stains on carpets but I understand you allow pets. The home smelled good so this was not an issue. I hope these comments are helpful.
