About this cabin rental

The amazing location and privacy of this property speaks for itself. Located just steps from Rock Creek, you can put the coffee on, throw a line in, and have a fish on before your first cup.

Sitting on 3.5 acres, surrounded by USFS land, wetlands, a spring creek, and mountains; this is your own personal getaway! Whether you are a hard core angler, novice or porch lounger, this property will meet your every need. The stocked pond is located about 50 feet from the front porch and is perfect for young children to try their hand at fishing and fun for the expert to practice that new dry fly. A short hike gets you over to the spring creek to try your luck. The famed blue ribbon trout stream called Rock Creek needs no description.

The cabin has three porches. The front porch tends to be sunny, faces southeast, and looks out over the large yard and pond. The two back porches, one upstairs and one down, sit overlooking Rock Creek and tend to stay in the shade. Both allow views of the sunsets which are a beautiful to watch as the creek.

The main level holds a laundry/mud room; the open kitchen and family room complete with beautiful gas stove, smart TV and comfy furniture make it a cozy after a long day fishing or hiking. The master bedroom with queen bed and full bath is also located on the first floor.

Climb upstairs to the loft and you may not want to come down after seeing the view from all directions. Large windows allow constant views of the wildlife and surrounding mountains. Two cozy queen beds set up next to the windows at either end of the loft let you wake up to the eagle flying down the creek, or watch deer out by the pond. There is also a bunk with full mattress on bottom and twin on top; plus a separate small bedroom with a twin bed. The second full bath is also upstairs and we provide two blow up mattresses if extra sleeping space is needed for large groups.

We stock the cabin with many conveniences ranging from basic spices, hand soap, laundry detergent and paper products as well as shampoo and hair dryers. All this allows for lighter bags on those long flights, and a faster stop at the market. Dish Network, internet, WiFi, and included long distance phone, keep you as connected to the world as you would like to be. We also happily supply a rolling cooler, plastic ware, guide recommendations, and local maps and brochures.

Rock Creek Meadows is about relaxing, enjoying your time together and making the most of your stay. We are here to help make that happen as we try and improve the Cabin and yard each year with our returning guests in mind.

We do offer a discount for guests staying longer than 6 nights.
We are also happy to discuss special events and provide customized pricing for weddings.

We have dogs of our own and love to travel with them. We are a pet friendly property and welcome guests that have registered their travel companions at the time of booking. Please refer to our Rules and Policies for details regarding pets.

We thought this was going to be a great place to stay from the pictures but, even though they are beautiful, they just can't do it justice. The landscape is stunning. The views from every window and the porches are breathtaking and ever changing throughout the day and evening. The house itself is comfortable and spacious with everything you could need. We loved the dark, quiet nights. I cannot say enough about how kind and generous Ailene, the host, was. She really stands out among all the rental hosts we have worked with. The only thing we missed was seeing a moose! Next time.

Group of 5 on a fishing trip. As usual Aileen and Joe's place was perfect, and they are fantastic hosts. This was my 3rd trip here and it was as beautiful and serene as ever. Moose in the pond to greet us on arrival. Weather was hot, so fishing was tough after noon, but it didn't matter. Love, love, love this place.
