Situated in Indiana, this lovely cabin for $800 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The Cabin at Natural Valley Ranch was built in 2011 using Indiana White Pine Logs and overlooks our 3 acre lake. You will love having your morning coffee relaxing on the spacious wrap around deck. The Cabin has a total of 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. There is a wheelchair ramp to enter the Cabin. Main floor has a master bedroom, half bath, library/sitting room, open concept kitchen/dinning/living space and a pantry with staples provided. Walk out basement with porch has a family room with pool table, master bedroom, bunk room, private bedroom, full bathroom. Top floor has a master bedroom, full bath, private bedroom and sitting area with a pull out counch. The ceilings in the top level bedrooms are open to showcase the beautiful logs. The master bedroom on the main floor is wheelchair accessible. It has a large walk in closet, whirlpool tub, walk in shower with a wall mount head and a rain head. Televisions are in all the bedrooms except the master bedroom on the top floor. Visit our animal interaction area by the big red horse barn at any time during your stay. You may see Hank our free range pig walking around or sleeping inside the barn. We also have chickens and ducks roaming the property. If you would like to do a trail ride or arena ride for an additional fee please text Marie 3175093577 Swimming and boating from the dock, beach or boats. Life jackets are NOT provided. Our 3 acre lake is a SHARED lake for guests from the Cottage at Natural Valley Ranch and our family and friends. Bring your own tackle and bait to fish for bluegill, crappie, bass or catfish. We currently have a canoe, boat and a paddle boat for your use at no extra charge.

There were nine of us staying in this beautiful home and there was plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and the owners decorated the house perfectly for the Christmas holiday which was nice because our family was celebrating our Christmas there. The animals roaming the property was so much fun! The owner responded quickly to all of my questions. Their hospitality was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again. As an added bonus there is a ramp leading into the home which was helpful for me as I am in a wheelchair. My family has stayed in VRBO's every Christmas for the last 14 years and we all agreed that this was the best house! Thank you, Chuck, for sharing your ranch with us!

Beautiful location overlooking pond. Lots of seating. Everything we needed for 19 people; plenty of dishes, glasses, pans, etc. Sound travels easily in this cabin. Host responded in less than an hour to our request. Homey space for gathering.

This was a beautiful place with a gorgeous setting. We were appreciative of all the kitchen and other available supplies (cooking oil, many small appliances, baby gates...). We found that 2 of the exterior door locks did not work, so we notified the owner. You should know that the petting zoo is free but the horesback riding is not. There is an additional price for each rider. Overall, no place is perfect, but this place was relaxing, the owners were kind, the setting was impressive and so was the cabin. We hope to return sometime.

This cabin was everything our family needed. The kids loved the pond with the boats and the horses. We loved the campfire pavilion and the yard to run around and play. Only thing to note, on the main floor porch was a little dangerous for our 2 toddlers. They could easily fit under the bottom wire (honestly any child could) and fall 2 floors down. My last thing to note is the stairs going up to the 2nd floor are open backs and once again I was nervous for my toddler to climb the stairs himself. Overall it’s a wonderful place for large families to stay.

Our family rents a vrbo every year for a family reunion. There are 13 of us so we need a fairly large place. We also have a list of “requests” before a place can be considered for our trip. Among the “must haves” is a pool table, a lake or swimming pool and 5-6 bedrooms. This trip had a lake for fishing and a pool table. The lake was a big hit with the kids due to a paddleboat and lots of fish biting. The pool table was an issue. The table was in poor condition, missing 2 balls (replaced by the owners in hours) but also was missing the rack to rack the balls. It was promised within 2 days but never received so no pool playing for us this trip.
Everyone enjoyed the horseback riding – and took trail rides 2 days of the trip. The other rescue animals were also a big hit with the kids and they enjoyed bringing them veggie scraps from dinner. The home is a beautiful log home, but without insulating walls, it was a noisy home for sleeping.
Owners were very pleasant and responsive to our calls.

We loved the space. It provided a quiet area to celebrate, relax and enjoy our family. The house was big with plenty of bedrooms and room to gather together.
The kids loved the animals and visited them often. The horse lovers in our group really enjoyed the trail rides. We had a memorable time. We did some fun western activities with the kids which fit the place. The owners were friendly and easy to work with, answering any questions we had. It was a get-a-way we will remember. Thanks.
It would have been good to know that the lake was not swimmable.
Some parts of the house could use a deeper cleaning:
- The outdoor tables were very messy when we got there.
- The cupboards should be gone through and organized. - Several pans could be tossed - one was caked with some burned material.
- The couch cushions could be removed and vacuumed underneath
The ice makers don't work.
The main bedroom and bathroom were very nice but the hole in the vanity should be repaired
The outdoor shelter was very dirty so we did not use this space. You have a type of bee drilling holes in the beams and are causing sawdust to filter down onto the furniture. You may need an exterminator to get rid of them.

Our family (ages 9-77) takes annual trips every year. The handicapped ramp and first floor master bedroom & bath was helpful for my father who uses a walker to get around. The kids all enjoyed the boats and fishing but decided not to go swimming due to the large turtles we saw. The petting zoo was a huge plus as well. We just wish we would have scheduled a trail ride online prior to our visit because they were sold out while we were there.
All in all though we had a great time!

The log cabin is an incredible lodging to stay in. We were looking for a little more room in our vacation rental and this was the perfect size to give everyone their own space. My wife and I took two of our adult sons and their families, including 5 grandkids. We also brought our two elderly mothers who enjoyed their stay as well. We were close enough to the city to enjoy its attractions. But we really like the rural location and the surrounding natural landscape. The family enjoyed the animals on site including the horse stables. Although there were issues with the water system right before we arrived, the owner worked diligently to fix it. There were some safety issues we found, knowing we had small children with us, but Chuck worked with us to correct them. Overall, we liked the stay and enjoyed the surroundings.

35 guests of all ages and sizes. We rented both the cabin and the cottage as well as the outpost which we used for crafts as well as a square dancing night. And previous family vacations have mostly been along the East Coast on the ocean where there is just one main activity available. Everyone agreed that having the lake for boating, swimming and fishing, as well as the Outpost for crafts and dancing, and the cabin common areas for games worked out perfectly. All these areas seemed to be more or less continuously in use. We also made use of the horseback riding, which was a big hit. Some of us did some bike riding on the B&O trail which runs through the woods, just on the other side of the lake and is available by a trail from the ranch.
Only negatives regarding this property would be a bit of excessive clutter, and if you’re staying in the cabin, you’ll find that it is very noisy on the main floor, and upstairs due to the lack of ceilings. The basement bedrooms, however, were quiet and insulated as were those at the cottage.

We love Natural Valley Ranch! This was the fourth trip for our large group of 8 adults and 7 children. This was the first time making the trip in the spring. We loved being able to enjoy the outdoors - specifically the B & O Trail - in addition to all the great indoor amenities of the cabin!

My wife and I have four grown children and six grandchildren and wanted to have a family get together. We chose the cabin on the ranch and loved it. During our stay we took all of the grandkids down to the barn for pony rides and a visit with the horses, sheep, pigs, and goats - they absolutely loved it. Some of the adults went on a guided horse ride and that was a lot of fun as well. One day we took the entire family to the Indianapolis Children's Museum which was only about 30 minutes away. The cabin was super functional for our large family and was still decorated from Christmas - very nice. The large kitchen and dining area was great for gatherings and family games. Chuck was available by phone and text if we needed anything. We loved our stay! Maybe next time we could do it in the summer so we could enjoy the outside areas of the property and the beautiful wrap-around deck.

For the last 5 or 6 years, we have been doing an extended family post-christmas gathering, and have used this property as our spot. The space is awesome, as there is a large gathering area on the first floor or in the basement. We cook a lot, so having the open kitchen on the main floor keeps everyone together. Chuck has always communicated very well with me, and when issues have come up, he has done everything possible to make sure our weekend still goes great. I highly recommend him as a host, and the property overall is great. It has something for all ages...animals to pet, space to spread out, outdoor space for fires and drinks, and a pond/beach area in the warmer months.

Great property to spend quality family time, especially during the holidays. We stayed for a week. Quaint cabin and more than room enough for twenty people. The horses and farm animals are definitely a bonus and a short walk from the cabin- kids loved this! Owner was very helpful and obliging throughout our stay - appreciated the whole experience- it was memorable.

We had a great stay at the cabin! We called it the “Hallmark” Cabin because it was just the perfect indoor setting for our holiday weekend. Every room had holiday flair with just the right amount of decorations. Plenty of room for our entire family of 21 Included 10 adults and 11 kids ranging from18 to 11 months. There are 6 actual bedrooms and additional sleeping on sofas or hide-a-beds in open areas. Master is on the main living area, and 3 bedrooms in the basement (nice finished rooms) with one being a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a trundle under each. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms but were a challenge as they have no ceiling, just walls dividing that didn’t go to the ceiling. So sounds/noise from main living area did affect sleeping. Still no regrets on renting the property! We would rent again but would love to see ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms. The main living area was great with plenty of seating both for eating and relaxing. Kitchen has 2 refrigerators which was great for our large group. We made great memories and enjoyed our stay!

This place accommodated everyone (had both houses). Little bit of a hiccup upon arrival but was remedied quickly. Never met with owner but was lucky enough to have met the cleaning staff twice and they are awesome!

Rented this property online and it was chosen for the location and the large number of bedrooms and bathrooms to house our family for our daughter’s wedding. . Communication with owner was all online and even though he couldnt accomadate our needed check in time he thankfully extended our checkout time. The extra expectations for our part of the clean up was a bit involved. However,
It was the perfect place to get ready for the wedding of our daughter and was a welcome resting place before and after all the festivities.

Nice large cabin with plenty of space for a big group (4 families with 8 adults and 7 kids under 5). Outdoor space was lovely and everyone enjoyed the lake, large yard and covered seating areas. Some repairs inside would be appreciated (i.e. exposed wiring on ceiling-mounted light over kitchen island, bulbs in living area fixtures would flicker if dimmed) and as others have noted the noise factor is a challenge as you can hear everything throughout the main and upper level of the home due to the walls not meeting the ceiling.
Asked for early check-in and it was not available (understandable due to another rental before ours), but was told "do not show up early and put my house cleaners in the uncomfortable position of not allowing you in" which came across as a bit rude, especially when we arrived at 10 past 4 and the house was still being cleaned. We were able to enter the house but it was 4:30 or later until the house was cleared.
All in all, a good rental in a nice location. Would rent again if we are all in the area.

We had plenty of room and lots to do on and around the ranch. The kids loved riding the horses, taking the row boat and paddle boat out on the pond and playing toss and badminton in the yard. Within 30-45 minutes of the Children’s Museum and Conner Prairie which were a big hit!

We live in Florida and our son was getting married to his college girlfriend from Avon, in Avon. We found this property and rented both the Cabin and the Cottage to accommodate part of the family and friends joining the celebration. Along with the houses we rented the Outpost that is also on the property for the rehearsal dinner we had catered. ALL of the accommodations were/are incredible, Chuck and Marie are terrific owners and very helpful. We highly recommend them!

All agreed this was a perfect setting. We did have some trouble with noise, as walls do not go all the way to ceiling. Water pressure... always a problem at rentals. Owner and wife were very accommodating!
