We had a lovely stay! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The landscaping was beautiful and the view was really pretty. We especially enjoyed the stargazing with so little light pollution in this area. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free and communication was stellar. Thank you!

There was a provider issue that was out of the control of the owner although it was communicated properly. We had another option that wasn't quite as nice although it worked.

My husband and I stayed at elk Cabin for our honeymoon for 4 days.. check in and out was easy.. the cabin itself was very clean.. however there was a couple things we experienced.. the first night we wasn’t able to use the hot tub due “to the water being changed” my husband did contact the owner and they sent over a girl very nice but didn’t know how to work the hot tub told us to give it another hour which we were trying to heat the hot tub since our check in and kept shutting off. My husband contacted the owner told us to try a couple different things nothing was working told us to give it another hour. Another hour goes by and wasn’t working still.. it was frustrating as it was our honeymoon and paid the amount we did to enjoy the hot tub. Second we realized the towels had sort of fishy smell to them. Looking at the other reviews about the bee situation I did hear bees coming from the side of the house but they didn’t bother us thankfully. The drive to the cabin is definitely on a mountain to be prepared for a steep drive. As far as the showers go the hot water only lasted enough for 1 person so must wait inbetween uses. Also not the owners fault but a fire ban was set in place so we couldn’t experience having a fire during our stay just for a heads up. The views were breathtaking as Colorado did not disappoint.
