Nestled in La Jolla Shores, this charming house for $860 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. A perfect place to relax and enjoy family and friends (and occasionally dolphins). Step out the door, cross the only street between you and the Pacific, and your toes will be delivered to the sand. The El Paseo Grande beachfront home is a beautifully furnished home directly across from the ocean and Kellogg Park. Completely remodeled, this home boasts high ceilings, tile floors, gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances. It also has 3 flat screen TVs. Each TV streams Netflix, HBO, and amazon prime, but not live TV. There is a charming oceanfront deck with firepit. In the center of the home there is a private outside patio with conversation area, and gas BBQ. Home has a nice stretch of grass in the backyard, where we have moved the Jacuzzi for added privacy. The four bedrooms consist of two king beds, a queen, and a twin trundle (a twin bed over a pull-out twin bed). There are also two standard sofas in the living room. Traveling in an even larger party? We can also provide up to two queen fold out floor mattresses upon request. This home also features two beautifully decorated full bathrooms. Slide open the double doors of either master bedroom and sleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Slide open the windows in either the trundle room or the queen room and fall asleep to the roar of the ocean. Everything you need is included from linens to kitchenware. You need only bring your beach clothes and evening attire. It’s a short stroll to local restaurants and shops. La Jolla shores has the best beach for walking, surfing, swimming and kayaking. The La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed, mixed-use village encircling Laureate Park, on Avenida de la Playa in the village of La Jolla Shores. The village has several fine dining restaurants as well as plenty of casual dining places, shops, and a few galleries. You can take surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and wetsuits from Surf Diva. Kayak, snorkel, and bike tours and rentals are available at San Diego Bike and Kayak. The beach is approximately one mile long and stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black’s Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park. The Shores meets the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus and Kellogg Park (with a playground right next to the beach), encompasses the Scripps Pier and borders the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve to the south. The beach is a popular launch point for kayakers and has a swimming area only and a surfing only area. Nearby are the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Leggo Land, Balboa Park, Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Aquarium, Downtown, PetCo Park and Coronado Island. Please be aware, that we do have air conditioning, but we do not have central air conditioning. If this is a deal-breaker, we aren't the right fit. We keep 5 auxiliary units on site for use during the warmer months. Two are in the living room, and the other 3 are in bedrooms. The only bedroom that doesn't have one of these auxiliary units is the office space with the trundle bed.
