Found this place on the internet while looking for a quiet place to stay close to St.Augustine. This was around 2019, just before the pandemic. As time passed, covid came about and we started looking for a place that would not be all that crowded. I revisited the web site and booked our anniversary getaway, and have not had one regret. We come during a bit of off season, late October and the weather can be peculiar, but have thoroughly enjoyed our stays. The Silver Sands is a fantastic place, quiet and peaceful, not the hub bub of condo properties. The property is well maintained and exactly as advertised. If you are looking for a serene and beautiful beach getaway, look no further, this is it. We will continue to visit as often as possible.

Cutest place! Super clean which I loved. Pretty small but nobody stays inside by the beach anyway. Short walk to the beach which was quiet and not overrun with people. Loved seeing all the turtles on the property and the mangers passion for looking out for them. Would absolutely book here again!

We absolutely love Silver Sands.This was our seventh stay and we will be counting the days until we can come again. This little slice of old Florida heaven is truly special from the incredibly kind team, to the thoughtful touches throughout the property to the spectacular beach.

Me and my kids were pleasantly surprised with everything about this property. We were skeptical about the items for the beach, and did not bring any of our chairs, umbrellas, etc and took a chance. To our surpise you provided exactly what was promised.....even the boogie boards!!! It saved us so much room in our vehicle thank goodness. There was nothing that we "wished" we had inside the property as well. The location was fantastic, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy touristy areas but still close to make all of those areas completely accessible. LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay and will return!!!!! Thank you for being so conscientious about the needs of yur guests. Another bonus was "Tucker" as we named the tortoise......loved the greetings in the morning and afternoon.

This property was great if you’re looking for seclusion and ease of beach access! We went just for a short weekend trip, and we enjoyed the property. When walking to the beach, there is a nice sandbar that runs all along this area. It was amazing for our five year old as we didn’t have to worry about the crashing waves quite as much! The included beach chairs and umbrellas were great for us because we were driving from a few hours away, and it was nice to not have to worry about those. St. Augustine was also a quick 15 minute drive. My only complaint was the mosquitos. We are from south GA and when I tell you they swarmed us in the walkway, we each had 20+ mosquitos all over us. We ended up trying to sprint through the little garden walkway to avoid the onset of mosquitos. Other than those, it was fantastic!

Our family really enjoyed Silver Sands. It was perfect for our family and loved seeing the turtles and nature all around us. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you!

Delightful. Love the remodel. Used the beach chair and umbrella provided which was an extra bonus too. The only suggestion we have is pathway to beach needs some work.

I have been staying here for over 20 years, and this time we tied the knot, our wedding was beautiful and Dana was so helpful and sweet, even Betty was there which was a wonderful surprise. Never would go anywhere else, they make you feel welcome and at home, with everything you need. Quite, relaxing and like paradise ❤️

This property was exactly as described. All of the workers were friendly and helpful with one providing information where to fish which was helpful. Literally 5 mins from the Matanzas inlet where we fell in love with the fishing and beach area for the kids. I even got to assist with helping a gentleman land a black tip shark on the shore while he made it down from the bridge. Its about 20 to 30 mins from St Augustine which was perfect for us because we were away from the crowds. Only down side was there were lots of snakes on the way to the beach but that was advertised beforehand. We saw some turtles on the property and had the section of Crescent beach to ourselves on numerous occasions. Area was safe and people were friendly. Even rented a pantoon boat from the Devils Elbow for half a day which was nice because we pleasantly saw numerous dolphins on the inlet. Genungs fish camp was up the street as well and the people who ran that were very friendly. Perfect get away for spring break. If you are a big guy toilet space was a little tough but manageable. Just being honest. We didnt want to leave! Thank you for allowing my family to visit.

We LOVED our stay here! The condo was very clean and well taken care of. The beach was a very short walk away, and the beach was so quiet. There was no one even close to us on the beach, so that was an added bonus. The condo was just a short drive away from all the sights in St. Augustine. We definitely will be back!

I liked this place. Room was a bit smaller than I expected. Clean- little path to a beautiful private beach. Nothing luxurious. My husband was missing a balcony or porch but I loved that you could grab a chair and go to the beach. Not a lot around there though. Must drive for food and restaurants. farther away from down town st Augustine than expected.

We were looking for a quiet, restful long weekend at the beach to relax and recharge. Our trip to The Silver Sands made that a reality! Our suite had everything we needed for our stay. The room was very clean. Having a separate room for the bedroom meant I could stay up late watching a movie and not disturb my sleeping husband. The kitchenette was well stocked with plates, dishes, and everything else we needed. We have our own beach chairs, etc., but if we didn’t, we could have used the ones provided for guests. It’s just a short walk down a sandy path to the beach. You will have to walk down steps to get from the end of the wooden walkway to the beach, which was no problem for us, but just wanted to mention that for others. The beach itself was not at all crowded when we were there. It was so convenient to set up on the sand while knowing the rest room, kitchen, etc. was only a short walk away. I was able to sit and read my book while listening to the waves and not much else. The town of St. Augustine is just a short drive away in case you feel like exploring. The grounds of the Silver Sands were pretty as well, and I often spotted a tortoise meandering about the plants. We so enjoyed our relaxing beach getaway and hope to return to The Silver Sands!

This property was amazing. It was cozy, clean and had access to an amazing beach. They also provide beach items for your convenience. It is close enough to town if you want to explore but far enough from town to have some quiet time! We will definitely be back!
