About this condo rental
Situated in Ocean City, this lovely condo for $225 per night is a great option for your next break. We are located at the 6th floor in Carousel Building. We have 2 large bedrooms, one on the ocean side and one bay side and 2 full bathrooms. King size bed in oceanside BR and queen and full in the second BR. Sofa sleeper, full size. Fully equipped kitchen. We will provide bed linens and towels based on the number of people occupying the condo, for full weeks rental. There are plenty of option/amenities to spend the entire time in the building and at the beach, obviously. However there are plenty of activities in Ocean City in general and some within walking distance. Grocery shop, across the street. Restaurants, in the building and along the Coastal Highway, walking distance a few, including the famous 'Green Turtle' across the street. We have clean and comfortable accommodations here, all modern appliances, flat screen TV's. Your home away from home! A large balcony on the ocean side to relax, listen to the waves, have breakfast, lunch or dinner there with the sight and sound of the ocean! Does not get any better than that! A picnic table and another table plus more chairs to accommodate different tastes and meals... Another picnic table in front of the door if you would like to watch the bay or the street when there are events going on. Lots of freebies and top notch amenities you get to enjoy here while staying at 603 Carousel. *Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean. CONDO WAS CLEAN AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF...WE HAD A FEW MINOR PROBLEMS...WHICH THE OWNER TOOK CARE OF IMMEDIATELY EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM IT COULD WAIT TILL NEXT DAY...IT WAS JUST MY HUSBAND AND I BUT WOULD BE GREAT FOR MORE PEOPLE ALSO...ALL AND ALL WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING AND WOULDN'T HESITATE TO GO BACK..

The condo was fine and roomy enough for 4 adults with a great double deck but was surprised right in front of us was a 4 story motel so it was really a side view. Easy access to beach. Skimpy on supplies. 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. 1 Kleenex in a box. One set of towels per person. No soap, shampoo or washing detergent, 2 garbage bags

This property is perfect for families. It has everything you need for a great time at the beach. Condo is nice, spacious and clean. Befs are comfy, kitchen is modern. Will definitely rent here again!

Our family enjoyed our week at this condo. We didn't want to leave! Valentina was a treasure and pleasure to work with.
The condo itself was very cozy and we enjoyed both balconies The location fit our needs perfectly. Check in and check out couldn't have been any smoother. Just looking out the sliding glass door and seeing the ocean was just what we needed. Thank you Valentina for being an amazing host.

Carousel 603 is a very nice property and is obviously well cared for by the owner. The owner also was quite easy to communicate with and very anxious to help in any way she could. We indeed enjoyed our stay in this condo.
Our problem is with the Carousel itself. While it seems well managed and cared for with lots of amenities and attractions contained therein, because it includes both rented condos and hotel rooms, the facility is overcrowded. There are lines everywhere. We especially found the outdoor pool far too small for the amount of hotel and condo guests it is expected to accommodate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at this comfy condo on the beach. It was great to relax on the balcony and hear the waves crashing on the shore. There is so much to enjoy with the indoor ice rink, indoor/outdoor pools, arcade, fire pits and even an outdoor movie on the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here for your family vacation.

We started staying at the Carousel a few years ago for it's location, security and condos. We have a lot of time and money invested in our "Hotrods " so the security of their garage was the main selling point for us. Unfortunately this past week's cruisin event was a complete disappointment for us all because of the Lack of Security. People were doing Burnouts in the parking garage, when we brought our concerns to the security officer we were told security was in the garage. Not true, my husband and BIL was in there keeping an eye on our cars until 2:00 am.. no hotel security was ever seen. Guests were smoking weed on the balconies etc.. contacted front desk, they sent someone up once but not any of the other times. It was a complete free zone, none of the "Rules" per the hotel or HOA was enforced.
The condo we rent was wonderful and comfortable, the owner great.
As for the Carousel Group totally disappointed us all.

We stay at the Carousel each summer and this was our first time utilizing VRBO for our condo reservation. I'm so glad we did! The condo was clean and nicely appointed. It's in the perfect location and the hotel has many amentities. Great for families! We will definitely be back.

The space is immaculately maintained and everything we could have wanted was easily available to us.

An adult family of four. I think it’s in the top 10 on the relaxation scale. Condo was clean and homey! Beachfront is obstructed directly in front(I knew that) and in my honest opinion, I did NOT mind as I could focus on the beautiful sunrise and ocean water. The sunsets…..I’m not sure there is a better place in OC to view!! The balcony is huge and I was pleasantly surprised that it was so quiet inside! Check in, check out was smooth as silk. Communication with owner was outstanding! As a native Marylander(Northern), I love OC and so enjoy my beach time. This condo and facility did not disappoint!! For the first time in many years, we could walk to everything we needed. I will, without a doubt will be back here!!

We loved this condo for its layout, decor, amenities, ease of check in/check out and responsiveness of the property manager. We hadn’t realized the oceanfront view was partially obstructed by the hotel in front of the condos. We could see the ocean but no beach unless looking off to one side. Other than this, we were very happy with everything.

We had an absolutely amazing vacation! Valentina was beyond helpful in the planning and made everything so easy. The condo was so clean. The balcony is a great size and the bayside balcony was such a great addition to any condos we have stayed in in the past, we loved sitting out front for a night cal after the kids were in bed. My family of 3 and my mom travel to OC every year at the beginning of the summer and we love to stay at the Carousel. The property is great…close to the beach, lots of amenities, and the clientele are mostly families and well mannered individuals. Upon arrival at the unit after hours there was a small confusion that was quickly resolved and we gained access to the condo. The condo was slightly smaller with a different layout then units we have rented in past years. We were excited that the master bedroom was oceanfront, until we opened the curtains and found that the beach was not visible from our room. The hotel rooms that are beachfront block the beach view, but the water is visible. We were also disappointed that the drapes did not block much light, so those hotel rooms that faced our balcony (which have porch lights that remain on all night for safety) lit up the window with a warm glow 😞. In addition there was a lack power outlets as well. We had to purchase some extension cords at a nearby drug store in order to charge phones and run a CPAP machine. We also discovered many of the clocks in the unit were hung but did not work.
When we returned from the beach the next day and went to wash towels and swimwear we were disappointed to find dirty towels unwashed in the washer.
My husband had some health issues while there and spent the next few days on the couch watching tv that wouldn’t connect to many of the features in the listing. In addition the couch was very uncomfortable, it appeared to be painted with some sort of fabric paint making it stiff and sticky on muggy days.
Upon attempting to make breakfast we were unable to find adequate pans and some of the dishes required washing prior to being used.
One of the bathrooms was discovered to be unclean as well. We contacted the owner to advise how we found the unit and that we had spent our time cleaning the unit and laundering the linens. I’m not sure what response I was expecting, but the response was more of a “shrug of the shoulder” than an apology that we had to clean her unit in order to stay there.
The beds were comfortable and the location of this property are the highlights. The unit could use a deep clean and some updates and repairs, it definitely didn’t feel warm and cozy like past units we have stayed in. This unit felt more like you were visiting your great aunt at the beach.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to return again.

Since we were stuck inside most of the time with the weather, it would have been nice to have better internet service for streaming some movies and not just the hotel internet. But, plenty to do with kids inside the building with pool and game room.

Cozy and Comfortable
My family and I were very pleased when we walked into the condo. The decorations are coordinated and cheerful, and the the condo smelled pleasant.
Positives:
1. The master bed was very comfortable.
2. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and accessories.
3. The deck was long and wide, and had it been warm, we would have enjoyed dining out there.
4. There was plenty of seating for a family of four. I would suggest adding a chair in the master bedroom for ease of putting on shoes, etc...
Areas of Improvement:
1. The ceiling fans didn't work with the wall switch, and the chains were too short for me to reach.
2. There is very little space to maneuver between the closet and the bed in the second bedroom.
3. Both wall clocks needed batteries, which are being replaced by the host.
4. I almost fell in the master tub due to the tub bottom being slippery. I could not find a non-slip mat, so we will bring that next time.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the host!
