Loved staying here with 8 of my girlfriends! This was a perfect house for staying in, cooking, drinking wine by the fire, and just relaxing and recharging. We also hiked the beautiful trails and enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. Hope to stay here again next year!

Once again we had an enjoyable stay at Deep Creek Lake and Peaceful Paradise. Peaceful Paradise is a very well crafted/built home that definitely suits our family. We did have a few items that needed attention which the rental agency did take care. The grille was a mess when we arrived. A nice young man came within a couple of hours and spent nearly two hours cleaning. The grille has been in need of repair for the past few years ( burners are rusted out ). That being said, when my wife and I went to the rental office on Tuesday to sign up for next year we talked to Chris who sat down with us to go over our list of items that we thought needed attention. We mentioned the grille. Within a few hours a new grille was delivered to the house. On Sunday a newly replaced hot water faucet handle, at the kitchen sink broke. A gentleman came late Monday morning and installed a new faucet. He also attempted to fix two AC units that were not working. The one unit just had soy ice buildup and was works when he left. The other unit needed professional help. A contractor came later that day. Found out that a replacement panel was needed. The part was to come in on Thursday. We never heard back from either the contractor or the office. In our discussion with Chris we mentioned that the house still has issues that need attention. Cobwebs on a lot of the windows and exterior. No internet connection in the master bedroom. No longer any lounge chairs on the patio. Patio door handles are loose. No water at the wet bar in the basement. We do love this house. It just needs some TLC. The rental agency has always tried to accommodate any issues which is one reason why we are coming back for a fifth year at Peaceful Paradise.

Our week at Peaceful Paradise was wonderful! The house is located in a great location on the lake, and the generous amenities ensure a relaxing, fun vacation for all ages. Peaceful paradise is a great rental. There are lots of great common areas and the bedrooms are all a bit separate so no one feels like there are on top of each other. There was space to play outdoors and a nice dock if you want to rent a boat. Make sure you bring everything you need though. Beach towels are a necessity as noted in the rental but there was only one bath towel per person which was not enough for a full week stay. Two per person would be better so you could actually wash the towels and have some left to use. Also most rentals have some spices available or as leftover from other guests. There was salt and pepper only so bring what you need! It was obvious to me that the house is not a family home. Overall the house is gorgeous and clean and in great condition but lots of little stuff needs maintenance. While we were there the spray in the sink split and broke, the faucet for the hot water broke and many door handles in the house were loose or falling off. When we arrived one of the kitchen fridges was warm. There is a fridge in the basement and two in the kitchen so we thought it would be fine but reported it anyway. The rental agency is very responsive and had someone out to look that night. The coils needed vacuuming but he couldn’t get t to cool. The next day the other fridge started going very warm so I called again and they sent someone out again. Hat gentleman was able to get both fridges up and running. So although we needed four things repaired, the agency took care of everything very quickly. It was an enjoyable week for everyone. Comfortable beds and couches. The only thing lacking were chairs around the dining table. There were only four for a house that sleeps fourteen. There should be at least six to eight to let everyone eat inside at the same time while using the breakfast nook. We loved it though and would rent it again.

Literally the most amazing house I’ve ever been in. Enormous, gorgeous, built and designed for fun at the lake. We had an absolute blast here, loved the music system and the pool table. Had a great time out on the deck grilling and going down to the lake to swim. 11/10 house and highly recommended. I’m going to return in the future for sure.

Beautiful house, only issue was the house temperature was not easily manageable as it is a big house and one side of the house was 10 degrees cooler than the other and when we first entered the house it had furnaces that needed adjustments/maintenance to properly work which was done right away. Not sure if it is worth 1,200 a night at that price it should have everything working properly and without issue.

Overall, the property was fairly nice and we were happy with our stay; however, there were definitely some things that could have been better. The patio area near the grill was not cleaned up at all from the prior guests. Cigarette butts near the grill, empty water bottles, a ladder laying on patio and parts for the screen doors (most of which had rips in the screen and didn't function well). The interior of the house was clean (except the stove) and it is a well constructed house with a very appealing layout and decor. A number of light bulbs were burnt out and the stove needed a serious cleaning (which we did). The stove air vent was in need of repair and one of our guests received a very bad cut and ended up needing stitches when he was trying to repair the vent. If these maintenance issues are addressed for future stays, it would make a very nice rental property at Deep Creek.

This property really is a home away from home. Someone put a lot of love and attention into this house. Many rental homes, no matter the size, often seem very utilitarian. (Not this home) The layout of the house is fantastic and there really is more than one master bedroom. After getting angry with another rental company we used for years, this was our first time using Taylor-made and we were very pleased. The check-in/check-out process was so easy...you didn't even need to stop in the office. The vacation starts right away. If you are looking for a luxury home away from home at Deep Creek, this is your rental.

This year, the 14th summer our family has vacationed at Deep Creek, was the best year yet! We have stayed in several other homes, Odyssey's End, Paradise Found, Morning Breeze, Lakefront Greens, Eagles Landing, Highland Retreat, and finally, four years ago, we found Peaceful Paradise. The home is perfect for our family, and our years of searching are over. The bunk room was, I am certain, added and furnished for our six grandchildren, who all their lives will carry cherished memories of fun times spent there. The great kitchen, the vaulted ceilings, the huge beams, the sheer massiveness of everything brings a kind of awed silence to the vacation experience. I asked our sons and their wives to jot down what they loved most about the house, and their comments included the comfortable beds and luxurious bedding,the nice touch of shampoos and soaps in the baths, the ability to check in early and check out late, the quick response from Taylor-Made for any adjustments that were needed (the bat in the bedroom!!which was far more fun than scary), and the spacious area around the hot tub. All agreed that the house is located perfectly for fishing (even off the dock), for swimming, and for all the boat fun. They also had a few suggestions. The screen doors on the the three double doors leading to the deck on the main floor need repair, mainly to their closure systems. Failing to repair these doors will lead to their destruction according to my son, who has a home inspection business. We were all very concerned about the hot tub cover and lock. The cover is badly torn on the inside, and is waterlogged. It also has no lock, not really a problem to us, but certainly a liability for the owners. These are minor and fixable details, and certainly did not discourage us from coming back next year. Thanks again for sharing this great house with us!

Once again my family and I had a wonderful time at Peaceful Paradise. This is our third year here and have already signed up for next year. The house is one of a kind as the wonderful staff and service personnel at Taylor would agree with. That being said, with a substantial increase in rent for next year (16%), there are a few items that could hopefully be addressed. A small section of outside railing is rotting and should be replaced. Also the railing needs painting/straining. Most of the carpeting needs cleaning. Some of the dining room chairs need repaired-they are difficult to slide on the carpet. The light fixture at the lower right bunk bed needs to be repaired-hasn't worked since we've been coming to PP. if possible, the area around the fire pit would feel a lot better if leveled out. The gutters need to be better maintained-holding and spilling water. The kitchen could also use a couple more dish towels and hot mits. We have always enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Paradise, there are just a few items that need attention.

Extremely Disappointed! The thermostat controlling half the house was broken. In cooling mode the 2nd floor Master Bedroom was unusable and in the heating mode both Masters were unusable. Called early Sunday morning for repairs. Waited until 4:30 PM. for Russ Heating to show up and say we need a new thermostat. He had one at the shop and would install Monday. Waited Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Russ Heating never showed. Called Maintenance Wednesday evening, the operator put me into supervisor Chris’s voicemail. I explained the problem and asked for a call back. Chris never called! Called again Thursday morning and was promised a response by noon, if I didn’t hear from the serviceman to call back. Didn’t hear, called back at 1PM. The person taking the call said she would call and let me know when they were coming. She never called back! I gave up wasting my time trying to resolve this issue and others!! The internet connection was erratic. We only had an internet connect about 50% of our stay. I worked with maintenance and the internet provider 4 times to get service restored. The router was replaced but that wasn’t the problem. Didn’t have service when checking out the last day. Other issues: 1.The outside grill is unusable. Two burners have rusted or burned out and have large holes in them causing large flames to shoot out of the holes overheating the grilling surface. The grill is not safe! 2.You advertise the house as having XM radio. The connection with XM is so bad it only works about 1% of the time. 3.I could only get one window blind to work with the remote control in the 1st floor master bedroom. 4.The printer in the Office doesn’t work. 5.Dining room chair joints are so loose they are a hazard to sit on. 6.Wi Fi does not reach the 1st floor master bedroom. To sum it up, what you provided was not worth what I paid for.

This is our second time at the house and what a difference from last year to this year. You can tell this home is not visited by the owner's often. We love the property and the house itself but here is what we found that didn't work or needed immediateattention: Outside of home needed spring clean up. We had to sweep, remove cob webs-totally dirty; patio furniture had soiled and moldy pads like they were left out all winter; hot tub was not cleaned; two kitchen dishwashers had NO racks. No water at wet bar in basement and no way to make ice. We had to purchase ice. Pots and pans were limited and missing from last year; Heating/ac on the first floor master suite could not be regulated; What a shame if this house keeps going down this much every year no one will rent. This is a top price luxury property and these items are inexcusable.

Everything was exactly how it's pictured and described. There was more than enough room for our group of 14 to get away my birthday weekend Jan 20 - 22nd and escape the craziness in DC that weekend. Half of the group decided to go hiking Saturday afternoon while some skied and some stayed back. It was so easy and perfect to be able to do a multitude of activities. Any concerns or mentionings needed to be brought up were taken care of quickly by Taylor Made as well, which I found super helpful! I will definitely be recommending this home for vacations to come. Thank you!
