Located in Faubourg Marigny, this attractive house for $350 per night is a great option for your next trip. LICENSED RENTAL BY THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS CAN ACCOMMODATE 2-6 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY. 6 people (3 couples) gets the entire 3 bedroom house 3 P.M. CHECK-IN 11 A.M. CHECK-OUT Luxury home with all amenities for 6 people only. 3 bedrooms,with a King and TWO Queen beds and each has its own full bathroom. This accommodates 3 couples or 6 people. If you need accommodations for 4 people, you get the 4 people reduced price and the two bedroom, 2 bath house. If you enter 1 or 2 people, you get the l bedroom 1 bath guest house with full kitchen, living room, washer dryer and all amenities in the rear. the three bedroom option (6people) has the Large living room area with big screen 72" smart TV. all GE Profile stainless steel appliances. Including range, microwave, ice dispensing fridge, dishwasher, washer/ dryer. Internet, cable TV. parking off street for 2 cars behind electric security Back courtyard with outdoor furniture, & barbeque. All luxurious Italian loomed Pratesi, Sferra, Peacock Alley and Frette 600tc+ sateen sheets 900 gsm towels, Cuisinart cooking and eating utensils . Keurig and standard Kitchenaid coffee makers, along with espresso machine. Filtered ice and water dispensers on GE Profile Refrigerator.GE profile dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Iron and Ironing board in each unit. Hair dryer in each bathroom. Dining room table for 6 with beautiful china and glassware. CHECK-IN TIME IS 3:00 P.M. UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE WITH PROPERTY MANAGER CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 A.M. UNLESS PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE WITH PROPERTY OWNER (the housekeepers arrive promptly to prepare for the next guest arriving at 3pm) THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL 'QUIET ZONE!' THIS RESIDENTIAL AREA OF THE MARIGNY/FRENCH QUARTER IS ZONED A 'QUIET' AREA AFTER 11PM. Even the clubs on Frenchmen St. are NOT ALLOWED amplified bands after this hour and have been cited and shut down. There are high fines for breaking this regulation which is now STRICTLY being enforced. The neighbors will now complain to the police and a knock on your door and a citation will be presented. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING AN IN HOUSE PARTY. THE NEIGHBORS WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY NOISE because the residential homes are less than 5 feet apart in this area. If you are cited and warned and noise continues, you may be asked to leave the facility with no refunds. Please consider this carefully when making your reservations. Property is great for giving you the NOLA vibe. Many details to find throughout the property that give you a nice sense of history. Location is fantastic. Short walks to most everything in the French Quarter or Frenchman Street. Easy to ride share to WW2 museum, etc. Parking was provided off street for our vehicle.
Home was very clean and organized. Labels for shelving, switches, etc. Host was very responsive and polite. Beds were very comfortable! Quiet when you're inside.
Highly recommended for a comfortable base of operations.

We were 3 couples spending a long weekend to celebrate New Year’s together. The space was ideal and location excellent. David’s communication was fabulous—best I’ve experienced. The house had everything you need plus more. Highly recommend

Lovely older New Orleans home with character in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the French Quarter and was easily walkable for most activities. Off street secured parking was a bonus. I would stay here again when traveling to New Orleans.

The listing was very accurate, location excellent and host very accommodating. Truly walking distance to all major attractions and the house really gave you the New Orleans vibe. Pictures of celebrities that stayed there were a nice surprise. It is a very old house so you have to keep in mind it will not feel like a hotel room. Overall a great stay that I would recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay and our host was awesome! He emailed check in directions which were easy to understand and right on time. Before I left on the trip, I texted him a question and he responded same day! It was in a nice, quiet neighborhood and close enough to walk to all of the action. Although we didn't cook while we were there, the house is fully stocked with spices and necessities that you would normally have to buy. The icing on the cake for us was the courtyard out back where we could enjoy our coffee every morning!

The owner (who was a great communicator throughout) clearly went to a tremendous amount of effort to make any stay at this home a totally unique experience. In an older Victorian (as many of the New Orleans are), he has decorated virtually ever square inch of the space with unique, one-of-a kind items. From numerous crystal chandeliers, antique turn-of-the-century furnishings and poignant 'mood lighting' lamps and such, staying here caught our eyes every time we looked up, down or around. It was lovely and fun!
David was an excellent correspondent at all times. Getting in and out was easy. Having the ability to park two cars in the driveway, then seal off the driveway gate gave a special feeling of security. We walked to the Thai restaurant a block away, and it was excellent.
Apparently, David was a makeup artist to several stars including Dolly Parton and Kirk Douglas, as their signed photos attested.
If you have a love and appreciation for older 'objets d'art' (as we do) you will likely love staying here. My wife and I will return here one day.
Incidentally, there are two homes on one property. The 2BR in front has its own bath for each bedroom; the 1BR in back does as well.

The Blair House is by far the best place we've stayed in while visiting NOLA. The original character, modern amenities, and advanced technology allowed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We had four phones and four computers connected and never experienced an issue. The furniture was super comfortable for movie-watching and sleeping, and the front porch was the best spot for chilling, reading, and chatting with passersby. David was a great host, easily available when needed, and gave excellent suggestions prior to arriving. This will be our go-to vacation spot in NOLA for years to come!

Great location!!! We flew and it was around a 1/2 hour cab ride from the airport. Family also stayed and drove, they had a spot to park in the driveway behind a locked gate. You can walk to Bourbon Street, Frenchman's Street, Jackson square, St Louis Cemetary #1 or almost anywhere you want.

Our family of four stayed here while attending a family wedding. Large enough for us but we also had the garden cottage which adjoins the main house. Everything in the house is dated and decorated in a style that I am sure appeals to someone older than myself. Seemed like it could use a good cleaning and updating especially the back bathroom with peeling wallpaper and broken Knick knacks. Searching in the kitchen for sugar/creamer revealed 5 year old condiments. Would be perfect place for Halloween timed visit. Close to great breakfast spot and walking distance to jazz clubs. Other members of wedding party were close by which was also a bonus.

Flew into town to see Duran Duran play at the Smoothie King Arena. House is perfect location to any where you want to go. Restaurants and bars in short walk. Quarter is a 16min walk or a 5min car ride. House is everything you want. Very very comfortable.

I like that it was close to a lot of things. I was unhappy about the cleanliness of the rooms. The bed, ceiling fan, headboard, curtains, dressers, walls and pictures had months of dust on them and when I asked the owner if anyone had cleaned the house before arrival, he proceeded to be rude and told me not to unpack my things and find somewhere else to stay as I was being appreciative. I took plenty of pictures and videos as o will be consulting someone about this. Not one time did he offer to send someone to clean the room. Owner is rude and I will not recommend anyone to stat here under these conditions.

The Blair house is a very comfortable stay. This house has a very New Orleans feel to it. All beds are comfortable. TVs in every room. The guest house (fully equipped with everything), was so convenient for our other guest giving her privacy as well. Very short walking distance to the French quarter and a quick walk to Jackson Square. Friendly neighbors. The host David is very friendly and very responsive. The Blair house has everything you need- no need to pack any toiletries, laundry detergent, etc. He provides all the necessary things you need when traveling. The only minor thing- the host might change his housekeeping crew. They don’t really pay attention to detail. A very GREAT, comfortable and quiet place to stay. We highly recommend staying here!!!

The location was perfect for walking to lots of places. Quiet neighborhood. House had everything we needed for our stay. Host would communicate in very timely manner if we had questions. Would recommend a visit.

We did use taxis, mostly in the evenings to get back to the house after being gone all day walking everywhere. The house is stunning, chandeliers in just about every room, even the hallway! There are plenty of supplies in the kitchen that have been left by previous renters, such as - cooking oil, seasonings and even some items in the fridge. I know we left a few cans of beer and bottles of water.
