Welcome to your home away from home! This cozy Treme gem, located a block from tree-lined Esplanade Avenue is the perfect home base for a weekend of NOLA exploring. Featuring granite countertops with new appliances and a comfortable living room, along with a spacious loft space upstairs, this four-bedroom cottage has everything. Relax with beer and crawfish in our tree-lined backyard before hitting the French Quarter, just a 5 minute walk away.
The Space:
There is a bonus loft that is not intended to be used for sleeping. Kitchen stocked to prepare any meals, Keurig with coffee provided. All bathrooms come with essentials such as 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/bodywash and fluffy towels!
Note - pool usually available from mid April to mid November

Street parking is available.

Great neighborhood - close to everything!

2 blocks to street car stop
Other Things to Note:
All reservations require a signed rental agreement and $500 refundable deposit before check in.
Interaction with Guests:

There was a perfect amount of space for everyone with me to stay and it was in a pretty good location to be about to walk just about everywhere or ride the street car 2 blocks away

Ben was an excellent host. The house was a reasonable walking distance to the French Quarter, so we didn't have to worry about parking in the quarter. Everything was clean and in good repair. Street parking worked well. There was ample beds for our group and there were plenty of options for watching sports and other shows on the television

The Property Managers from Historic Getaways were great and did what they could to make our stay more enjoyable. They get a five star.We did not feel the cottage was fairly represented. When we arrived, we found only three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the reasons we rented this particular cottage was because it had three bathrooms. We contacted the Property Managers and they said the other bedroom was being used by the owner. They said the owner would be out by noon the next day. The room was empty and cleaned by the next day. However, we were not happy that the door to that room only locked from the inside, which meant that the person in that room had access to all of our personal belongings when we were not there.The footage was well worn, and did not look clean and bright as depicted in the photos. There were no dressers in the bedroom!! The bedrooms did have a rod screwed into the wall to hang clothes, but there were no closets. Since there were no dressers, you had to use the mattress of the unused bed as a dresser. There was not a standard size dining table. There was a small table in the kitchen that four people could eat at. There were only three cocktail glasses in the cupboard. Historic Getaways did bring us three additional glasses, two more chairs and robes that were listed in the amenities but were not in the cottage. There were wooden floors in a lot of the rooms and bathrooms. These floors were quite old and some planlks had gaps.
