For this reason, you may hear street noise when stepping outside of the house, but it is very quiet inside. * No Washer or Dryer at Heidtke House, but there are several good laundry and cleaners within a few blocks - you can drop them off in the morning and they will wash, dry, and fold for your afternoon pickup. Please contact us for details. * We host groups all the way up to 10 guests. Our posted rate is our base rate for 4 guests. In order to equitably host groups large and small, we collect an additional $19 per night for each additional guest beyond 4 guests. This is to cover the additional laundry, supplies, utilities, and other expenses for larger groups. Please be sure to accurately enter the number of guests in your group when making your reservation. Great house with a superb layout for a large group. Location convenient to everything in Nashville. Just be aware there is a lot of traffic noise-planes, trains and automobiles! The hosts provide snacks and beverages which was lovely to see after a long day of travel. First time in Nashville, would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic! The place had everything we needed and the extras, like candy, wine, paper products, shampoo, etc. were great! My only suggestion is ask your cleaning service to vacuum under the beds and couch and the Mr. Coffee pot was broke. I really don't want to sound like I'm complaining though. Your place was great and i would definitely stay there again.

We are a group of ladies that graduated together in 1970. We get together every year in a different location. There are usually 10 of us and this year only 5 could attend and we chose Nashville. Your property was a perfect size for us. Thank you so much.

Group of business travelers in town for a customer event held at Gaylord Opryland Resort. We found the place to be perfect for our needs. There were three of us and we had plenty of room and found everything to be clean, well-stocked, and comfortable as well as close to our event. We appreciated the many little extras we found around the place like having first aid kits in each bathroom (came in handy as I needed a couple band aids!) There are a plethora of TV's and lamps! Our hosts were very communicative and available although we never needed to contact them for anything. We couldn't figure out how to turn off the outside lights, but we just left them on for the entirety of our stay.
The Bluefields neighborhood was nice although it took us a couple trips to figure out the easiest routes to and from the house.
All in all a very good experience, Thank you!

The house is perfect for a family vacation. The home had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, Kitchen well stocked with utensils, Coffee bar, a welcoming backyard. The location is close to airport, Broadway, and many other Nashville sites to visit and eat. We traveled an hour away to see the beautiful waterfalls. The homeowners care about your vacation. I received a call my first night and was asked if we needed anything and if everything was ok. We highly recommend this home.

A fabulous place to stay! My 3 adult daughters and myself each had our own bedroom. Plenty of linens were provided and even refreshments and snacks to get us started. John the owner just a text message away and helpful hints always shared. A beautiful home surrounded by green grass and trees. We loved Nashville! Used Mr Uber a lot to safely return from each days adventure. Bluebird Cafe, Grandole Opry… Hermitage, Ryman…. Tootsies! Highly recommend Heidtke House!

We had an amazing time. John and Ellen’s home is immaculate and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy and plenty of towels. Location is just the right distance to get away from Broadway and the noise/crowds. Uber’s were easy to get and got us downtown in about 10 mins. John was super responsive and had loads of suggestions on where to go and what to do- as well as restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Nashville. Thank you John and Ellen for hosting us in your lovely home.

The neighborhood is the best area to be in and you're still very close to Downtown. This neighborhood you can walk and jog as needed for your daily exercise.
It's 3 bedrooms
2 full baths (1 full bath in primary bedroom). The 3 rooms are next to each other. There is one more bedroom area next to kitchen. The kitchen and lving area are delightful for family time!!!!!!! The backyard is great for grilling and there is a firepit. I can't say enough great things about John & Ellen. Communication and accommodations are 10+++++!
For those who need a washer and dryer there isn't one in the home. However, there is a nice laundrymat less than 5 minutes from the house that John has listed in the binder. There is a train. I'm not sure where is goes or comes from. Nevertheless, it did not bother us. We kept saying THERE GOES THE TRAIN! Also, there has to be a hospital close because we heard emergency vehicles often going in the same direction.
I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to stay HERE! You will not be disappointed I promise.

We brought our 80 something year old parents to Nashville for a long weekend. They had never been before. Your house was a wonderful "home base" for us to come back to. It was very comfortable for all of us and we had plenty of room. We would definitely come and stay again. John was also so friendly and helpful.

Lovely home. Very convent to everything and great for a small family. Trundle bed good for smaller children but not great for adults. Other beds seem like full size and not queen size. Still…well worth it to have the family together for vacay and not in stuffy hotel rooms. We enjoyed the fire pit and family room. Kitchen supplies were sparse so if you’re planning to cook, bring what you need. Definitely have a meal at Party Foul across the street - great Nashville Hot Chicken!!

This property had everything we needed for 3 couples to stay comfortably. The neighbourhood has plenty within walking distance and downtown Broadway was a short Uber. Would highly recommend this home and John was excellent to make great suggestions.

Of all my VRBOs I have never come across hosts like you will find at this property. Not only did they call me before our stay to give me information and answer questions I had, they contacted me after I checked in to make sure everything was ok. They were gracious hosts who provided coffee, water, wine, and snacks, which was a welcome treat after 5 of us traveled from different parts of the country. The house was cozy and well appointed. The beds were comfy and we appreciated the extra blankets, pillows, towels, and bathroom supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 7 stayed at the Heidtke House and had a great time. The house was very comfortable and clean. John was an accommodating host and ensured we had all we needed for our stay. The house was a bit distant from downtown venues but we had a rental car that negated that issue. Nashville was fun for all and we would visit again in the future.

Great home away from home!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at Heidtke House. Although only seven of us stayed there, it was spacious enough to accomodate all 11 of us gathering in the evenings while visiting the Nashville area. John does a wonderful job of keeping in contact with his guests, and the home is just as it appears online - very clean and comfortable.

SERIOUSLY...Best Ever
There simply are no words for this whole experience. Not only did we arrive on my daughters 18th birthday, but it was her last trip with her dance team before she heads off to college. John went out of his way to make our arrival perfect and special for her. It was possibly the nicest and most thoughtful thing we have ever experienced. The house was exactly as described but even better. It has everything you need for a wonderful visit to Nashville. It is so easy to get to all the great places to visit. The beds are comfortable.
The kitchen is fantastic the house was more than perfect. The only thing I am sad about is that we were so busy while we were there, that we never slowed down long enough to write anything in his guest book. I so wish I would have been able to do that. I am so happy we were able to stay here.
