The lower level features a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, fireplace, and private deck, along with the bathrooms. The upper entrance level includes the living and dining area, kitchen, and a second fireplace, plus a queen sleeper sofa. Two decks — including an upper deck with a plexiglass roof — let you enjoy the outdoors in any weather.
Ideally located about a 5-minute walk from the lake, with easy access to the walking trail, boat house, and swimming area. Enjoy cool summer temperatures and stunning fall leaf color. You are just minutes from waterfalls, with easy day trips to Cashiers, Highlands, Brevard, Sylva, Asheville (including Biltmore), and the Blue Ridge Parkway — all known for excellent restaurants and shopping.
Perfect for a couple looking to rest, relax, and unwind.
Sapphire Valley Resort amenities are available for an additional fee ($5/day or $25/week, paid directly to the resort). Guest names (ages 14 and older) are required for cards.

This property is in very good condition. Has everything we needed and more. Nothing was broken; just a bit outdated. But it was exactly as I had thought and we had a delightful stay! Bonus points on the plexiglass overhang! Having both bathrooms on the ground floor was kinda strange, but not that big of a deal. It took longer to walk to the lake than I'd thought, but again, not a biggie. I'd definitely stay here again!!

We mostly enjoyed our stay and the location is great, but the house has a mold problem. The house is poorly ventilated in the downstair bedrooms and is contently moist even when running the dehumidifier 24/7. We were having issues with nasal and chest congestions while sleeping and felt terrible every morning when we woke up. It took use more than a week to determine what was going on. We had a few more days on our booking and no where else to go so we went and bought air purifiers from Lowes and it helped us sleep a little better but we still felt congested. It took more than a week to recover from the mold exposure once we were home. Its too bad the homeowner has not delt with this issue because its otherwise a decent place to stay but this could be a serious detriment to someone's long-term health if not addressed.
