There was only five of us so it was plenty big enough with ample beds and bathrooms. The kids were plenty entertained by the game area downstairs and exploring some of the trails outside around the cabin. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus to enjoy outdoors surrounded by all the trees. The one hiccup was very minor and that was just locating the main gate, as it may have been helpful to have a sign or something out by the road. That’s just me being nitpicky though, it is a nice place well away from the main highways.

Clean property with plenty of available amenities.

This was a very nice, peaceful property. My adult kids and their significant others and my in-laws stayed here over the New Year's weekend and loved it. Even though it rained most of the weekend, the kids enjoyed the hot tub. We got to hike around the property and enjoy the peace and quiet. Overall, it was a great stay.

We rented this cabin for our extended family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our only disappointment was the folding table listed on the site was nowhere to be found. The place was great for the kids and we enjoyed the surrounding wildlife.

We rent cabins with friends every year. This cabin had the best equipped kitchen, the most abundant supply of bath towels, and was one of the cleanest of any cabin we have rented. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. Recommend

This was the perfect location for our small, intimate October wedding! Although it got chilly pretty quickly this year, we were still able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception. The inside of the cabin was large enough for everyone to get ready for the big day, and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect for a wedding setup! We held all the festivities on the lawn and even created a dancefloor with lights. And don't even get me started on all the stunning scenery for wedding photos! This place was bigger than we expected and definitely exceeded our expectations! There were plenty of beds for wedding guests to comfortably stay, and the number of bathrooms was outstanding! The kitchen was very well stocked, and we greatly appreciated there being two refrigerators. The layout worked perfectly for our needs, and we are so grateful we found this location for our special day. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! We hope to one day make this trip a family tradition to share this special place with our future children.

We have been coming here for years for a reunion of old friends. Always have a great time.

Had a great time for our long weekend! The cabin was spacious and perfect for hosting a large group - plenty of areas to hang out together and separately, lots of amenities, and only a short drive from civilization but still surrounded by peace and quiet.

Our family of 13 stayed here and had a wonderful time in spite of the fact that the wi-fi wasn’t working and there’s no cell service in the area. The cabin had a wide variety of games to keep us occupied and a fun scavenger hunt with clues left by past guests. There was also a volleyball net we would have liked to use but we didn’t know it was there so we didn’t bring a ball. There were ping pong balls provided so we took turns playing that instead. The cabin is beautiful and plenty of room to spread out and by bringing in chairs from the porch we were all able to eat together at the dining room table. We had a wonderful time!

This place was perfect for our family reunion. Quiet and very secluded, this home is set deep in rolling, wooded hills. It is spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The property manager is pleasant and accommodating. Though our visit fell in July, I could easily envision a comfortable stay in any season, especially fall or winter.

The property was beautiful and perfect for all 16 of us. We loved the outdoor space and there was plenty of room in the house. So much to do in the surrounding area if you want to venture out.

Secluded property. Get fro a getaway with large groups.

This property is amazing for for big families to get together for holidays or just a getaway.. We had a family of 15 who stayed here arranging from 7 years old to 70. The property inside and out were absolutely beautiful.We stayed through Christmas which happened to be a 65ﾟ day the children played on the ridges in the Creek they have a shooting range at the end of one of the walk areas you can hike all aroundAmazing atmosphere. However the khans about the place are a few if you rent it during the Winter the the lower part of the home does get very cold it just did not get heat of any sort the game room was extremely cold at night the bedroom down below was cold the baseboard heater did not do much.. Also the beds for this place were very uncomfortable I figured for the price that's been paid for this place whether it's 2 nights or the 5 that we stayed the amount of money these beds should be a lot better. The only 2 comfortable beds in the home was the twin beds on the upper level bedroom to the left. The hot tub was was OK OK it seemed to be the older one that the temperature would either work or it didn't work 1st day we got there in the 2nd day was just fine the rest of the time the temperature dropped in it and then it went backup the last day we were there the Person who takes care of the property came by and we spoke with him and he had said that the owners were coming in after we left to put a brand new within so hopefully whoever goes in after that has a brand new one because we had rented it out because of that and was unhappy with that immenity how long with the beds . There is a hunting game throughout the home we looked through all the books trying to take the hints and trying to find someone it seems that some people have taken the money instead of just signing it and putting it back where the hiding spot was so when we signed the book we added some more money to it to make it fun because it did keep the kids busy keep the kids busy on Christmas when it was raining until it stopped but it stopped but overall the place was beautiful It was amazing couldn't have asked for a better Christmas somewhere else just need some updates definitely the beds needs to be updated

Everything was fantastic and we found the little village in Metamore that hosted a Halloween festival! Great fun there!! One very small thing to note was there were no dish towels therefore you will want to bring your own.

The cabin was the perfect size and location for our family. It was relatively clean and very well stocked with supplies. We were creeped out by the mice who weren’t shy about scurrying across the top of the fridge or across the countertops. Those sleeping on the top floor had the icky experience of hearing the mice scratch in the walls! The outdoor grill is in disrepair and the hot tub was a tepid 80 degrees. Guests should also be prepared that WiF is very very slow, except for early morning hours. Cell phone service is spotty as well. If you plan to just chill and bring your hiking boots and some board games or a good book then you will enjoy the cabin. The game room was wonderful and a lot of fun! This cabin is great for families and a large group of friends. Don’t forget to get the guest registry book and join in the scavenger hunt! When the grill and hot tub work and the cabin has routine exterminators visit we will definitely return! The host was impossible to reach after we arrived. The information in the cabin book has not been updated since 2005, the contact number Is no longer in service, and one number we called told us that they sold the cabin 8 years ago. That part was very frustrating and confusing.

We all enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The kids really enjoyed the game room. There was enough room for all of us which is nice because we usually have a pretty big group for Labor Day.

Been to this property many times. Likely our last for a while. Property needs work and improvements. Gas grill partially worked, microwave was broken, outdoor stairs coming apart. Beds and space are quite comfortable. Just needs some updating.
