We stayed over the weekend and it was such a wonderful experience. This is a lovely home with all the accommodations you need. We reallt enjoy the decks and grill. My boys even played cornhole.

So cozy, comfortable, and inviting. I would LIVE here if I got the chance. The house and yard is beautiful. Linda was the sweetest and the house had everything you could possibly need and more. I loved everything about this place! 10/10

We spent a long weekend at this property. We loved the house! Things that weren't mentioned in the listing Playground with mud kitchen. My son had so much fun out there! This house has everything you can imagine needing! You will not run out of bedding or towels. Everything you could need in a kitchen is there. The bathrooms are nice and updated. AC works great! We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this is at the top of our favorites!

The property was nice clean and we'll equipped for a week at the lake. The upstairs deck was great and we enjoyed having coffee on it each morning. The house was very comfortable with the exception of a stairway not made for tall people.

This house was perfect for my family! Extremely clean and the multiple decks to hang out on were awesome. Lots of little touches you don't get everywhere like cornhole under the big deck where you can play if it rains, candy machine for kids, large covered deck and cookies waiting for you when you get there. Location is great and you are less than 2 minutes from "The Deck bar and grill" for food, adult beverages and live music on the weekends...or you can choose to hang out at the house and relax on the property.....great house guys and we definitely look forward to staying again.

We hoped to get away for a few days and not worry about being around a ton of other people. The house was great and we were greeted with a plate of homemade cookies! There were only a couple other people at the lake where we were swimming and we were the only people at the restaurant we ate it. I would say the trip was a success!

Our stay at the Birchett's lake property was wonderful! The house is incredibly comfortable, clean, warm, and welcoming. It is also located in close proximity to several of the marinas. We rented our boat from Pine Cove Marina and had a great experience. We will likely try to rent this home again the next time we visit Tenkiller. The fresh chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival were also a big hit - even with the adult kiddoes. Thanks!

I brought a group on friends and students for a weekend of diving at Tenkiller lake. This home was exactly what we needed. Our host even baked us cookies! The patio was great! There were storms during our stay but we were still able to have our outdoor cookout on the huge balcony patio, where most of us spent our time. The home was clean and furnished with everything one might need. The hosts were helpful and noninvasive. I highly recommend this property for families and small groups. Thank you!

Great space. Clean and well cared for. Had 2 adults, 3 teens, and a toddler and it was a perfect space for everyone when we got rained out at the lake. Fresh cookies waiting at check in and everything you could need in the house! Perfect for family time.

We were greeted with a plate of fresh baked cookies with a cover that said Welcome. It was a perfect way to begin our visit. We were there for a family reunion and the home was great for entertaining family before and after the reunion. The decor was very well done and the covered deck made entertaining so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It is very well maintained and clean and in a quiet area. The layout was perfect for our family and we all enjoyed the large covered deck. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at the house. The location is beautiful. Our kids loved playing on the yard in the front and finding sticks in the woods. The fire pit area is a great place to hang out. We also liked how there were tables and chairs on every porch. It was the perfect place to play games at night. There are very steep narrow stairs that aren't great for young kids. The boards on the railing on the deck upstairs are also very far apart. It would be very easy for a child to accidentally fall. Other than that the house is an awesome vacation place! The house would be perfect for families with elementary-aged or older kids.

Just what we wanted.

Just what we wanted.

We chose this rental due to our desire for three bedrooms and two baths to accommodate five members of our extended family and also it's proximity to the Cookson area of Lake Tenkiller and the Cookson Bend Resort and Marina. All family members were very pleased with the comfort, exceptional maintainence, beautiful and restful setting, pleasant grounds and overall thoughtfulness on display at this charming house. Additionally, David was most accommodating. We felt totally at ease with just the right combination of privacy and proximity to the Lake and the lovely town of Tahlequah.

Good VRBO Experience!

No surprises from the description of the house; it's clean and well maintained. It's a little hard to find if you're trying to use GPS navigation, but the directions David sends you will get you right to it. Proximity to Cookson Marina is excellent (3 minute drive maybe?). We loved the fire pit area and deck, and the property was landscaped and well kept. A lake view would have been fantastic, but this place had everything else. Very good experience for the whole group.
