Located on 20 private acres, the home has a comfortable open floor plan anchored by a large stone fireplace and surrounded by floor to ceiling windows showcasing lake views. The perfect home for large family gatherings or special occasions. The main house boasts 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The pool cabana has a 7th bedroom, full bath, and full kitchen for meal prep by the pool. The pool features diving board and waterfall. The house was clean and the description was accurate. We visited right after Christmas and had 3 families staying in the house and grandparents out in the pool house. It worked great for this purpose. There were walking trails around the property that the younger ones loved to explore and the 2 family rooms were perfect to separate adults and teenagers in the evening. One thing that is hard to tell from the pictures though, is that one of the queen bedrooms upstairs is very small and does not have a connecting bathroom (person will have to walk to the middle floor to that bathroom). To me, this room seems better suited for kids than adults. The kitchen was very nice and had all of the necessary utensils. There were 3 fridges at the main house (2 in the garage) and 1 at the pool house, which was an unexpected bonus. Overall, a fantastic trip with family!

Unfortunately, we selected one of the hottest weeks in July to spend at lake Tenkiller. However, Murphys Mountain compensated for the extreme heat. The pool and waterfall were the perfect respite to the heat. The grand children loved the pool and the outdoor playground and trails. Our family loved this home. The house was large and spread out. The pool was fantastic! We spent 2 days hanging out at the pool leaving only to go out on the lake and tool around the lake on a pontoon rented just down the street at Pine Cove Marina. Everyone in the family says "Lets come back here!" That says it all!

The property and location were top notch. The pool house and swimming pool were just what we needed to relax. Plenty of room for the entire family to stay comfortably. We plan on going back for sure!

We went to the property for new year celebration with friends. This place is perfect getaway outside of busy city limits. With great ambience interior and exterior, this is a perfect place for vacation. It is located on mountains and the lake and Mountain View from the property is simply amazing.
Host was very responsive. On our second day of the trip (out of 3), the water ran out for the city. With kids in the house and no water is a scary situation, but host made sure that we get the temporary water arrangement to get us going for toilet and kitchen. It was a bad start of the new year, and had to plan for early checkout, but it was made less painful by the host by giving us directions for early checkout, temporary water arrangement and promised one day refund for this uncontrollable incident.
I have been to multiple vacation homes, and what is more important is responsiveness from the host and managing surprises remotely well.
I recommend this place for its location, amenities and understanding host.

Great Experience at Murphy’s Mountain
We loved this place with lake views from the open plan living room/dining/kitchen as well as the second living area upstairs and the master. The porch and decks were our favorite spots. We stayed the week after Christmas and lucked out with some very nice days for rising the golf cart around the 20 acres to explore. We had a slight issue with one bathroom that was unfortunate but just one of those things that happens and communication and response from owner was excellent. The three levels of the home, multiple tv watching areas, and kids bunk room made the house an excellent place for our large, multi-age crew to spread out and have fun. The kitchen was very well-stocked and the laundry area was large and made doing laundry a breeze (a must for our active family). We would love to come back for a warmer season experience!

Most amazing house to make our family feel at home. We had all we needed at the property for our 4 night stay. Absolutely beautiful and well-stocked property. Hoping to bring the family back for an annual stay.

With 16 people from 4-65 yrs., there was plenty of room and places to roam. The pool was wonderful. It was quiet except for the screams of fun by the kids. Great experience. The washing machine did not work properly but for most that would not be a problem. The golf cart had a flat worn tire. But over all it was great.

Great place to stay! We had a lot of family that wanted to get together after all of us got vaccinated. This was the perfect getaway. The pool and poolhouse are just fantastic and we swam every day. When they say the kitchen is fully stocked they mean FULLY STOCKED and not just a few cheap pots and pans. They even had a KitchenAid stand mixer. My 86 year old grandmother came with us and the golf cart was great to help her get between the main house and pool house.
Host is super helpful and responsive. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Was a great location close enough to our wedding venue. Had plenty of room to house the whole wedding party.

Perfect for Family Getaway
Our ages ranged from 5-66 so was perfect for us. Pool was great for the kids and adults alike. Its located next to a 20 acre wooded area with trails for the kids to explore or use their golf cart to take the older adults up the mountain. Kitchen was great and restocked with common use items so we didn't have to run to store if we forgot something. Sleeping for 25 is possible and for less its really comfortable. We will return again Covid or no Covid.
Terry and Jack are the owners and live just down the hill and are just good helpful type folks. I highly recommend.
