Make sure that all overnight guests are declared on the reservation. ↪ Additional cleaning fees may be applied if the house is left messy and unorderly. We selected this property because of its convenient location to our planned activites in Rapid City plus the easy access to the Black Hills. The house was very clean with a comfortable layout. It had lots of ammenities, a nice private back yard & was a short walk to Canyon Lake Park. We really enjoyed our stay!

Had everything we needed, including an egg pan!! Very clean, super comfy beds, soft towels. Only had a few rolls of toilet paper, so we bought our own. Somehow we only received the "Keys to the property" but not a code to get in the house. We had to call the host for the code, thankfully she answered right away. Great location, beautiful neighborhood to walk around early mornings. So many friendly neighbors! Within 10 minutes drive to downtown Rapid City where we found "Ugly Graffiti", terrific food!!!! A must go!! Within walking distance to the cutest Lodge that had Paddle boats to rent. We had such a great stay!!

Thought the place had a lake or stream behind it and we had to walk quite a ways to get to the park. That’s is the main reason we chose this place so we were pretty disappointed. The basic things we needed we had to go buy. Knew we had 5 adults staying for 4/5 days, should have had more basic items. Have stayed in other B&Bs and have needed nothing.

6 of my family and friends and myself stayed here for one night before my wedding. This was perfect as they had 3 beds that slept 2 people and a pull out couch. I appreciate that the check in and check out process is clearly lined out in a welcome letter. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The house is decorated very cute and the location is pretty quiet. We saw deer daily in the neighborhood. It's close to a river that we went fishing in and caught trout! It is a great central location to travel north and south and see all the sites. The beds were comfortable too.

We were so grateful to have a house like this to come back to at the end of each long day of exploring the area around the Black Hills - it made all the difference in the world to have a comfortable home with separate bedrooms for all of the family, including our two year old (who had struggled in hotel rooms on our drive up from Oklahoma). This was the perfect place for a family get together. The backyard had plenty of seating for everyone to sit around and play games and visit. The front porch is adorable and has lots of seating. The inside was nice. Beds were comfy. Great area. Close to many things.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable house. We loved having a couple parks and the Chapel in the Hills within walking/biking distance. We also appreciated the toys and games provided for the kids in our group. Dee was quick to respond to any questions. We would happily stay at this property again!

Great base camp for the Badlands and Black Hills

A great stay! We were traveling with 4 adults, a teen and a younger child. The beds were comfortable, the place was nicely renovated, clean, and well stocked. The area was safe and beautiful to wake up and have coffee on the porch. We stayed here as a base camp to explore the badlands and black hills. It is conveniently located about 30 minutes from Mt Rushmore and an hour from almost anything else we wanted to explore. There is lots to do nature wise within walking distance so if you have a down day, don’t just sit around go explore. We would stay here again if I the area for sure!

This home has everything you need for cooking, comfort, relaxing, and site seeing. The home is exceptionally clean and well maintained. This is about our 3rd time here and I would highly recommend it! I am VERY picky about VRBO rentals and this one is great! The only recommendation I would make to our lovely and responsive owner is to toss in a few cozy blankets. Thank you again for sharing this lovely rental with our family!!
