Experience 1950s charm on outside with updates throughout on inside. Newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances and updated/newly renovated bathroom. A few steps on front and back porches welcome you into this home away from home. Three cozy bedrooms with a large living room. Sunroom off of living room. Whole house has brand new gorgeous Pella windows. This is bound to be your favorite place to stay in Greensboro, as we are so close to many areas including: Friendly Center for shopping, UNC-Greensboro, Guilford College, A & T University, Greensboro College, Aquatic Center, Greensboro Coliseum and the list goes on and on. This wonderful Lindley Park Hideaway awaits your arrival for one night or several. We can't wait to host you and your group! Pets are welcome! $15 pet fee per pet per night.

My daughter and I stayed 4 nights and very much enjoyed the home and backyard. It was just like staying in a friend’s home. Convenient to event venue, restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to staying again when I need to travel to Greensboro. Our first Vrbo rental and it was great!

The host was so accommodating and friendly, as well as very easy to reach. Check-in was a breeze. We didn't really use a lot of what was available (washer/dryer/coffee/stove/dishes) but all was there for use. We weren't really in the house much. Originally we were going to travel with 2 adults and 2 kids but ended up changing plans and only had one of each. The beds were super comfortable. We attempted to back out of the rental because my daughter was injured and couldn't compete in the competition we were in town for, but we completely understood why the host wouldn't cancel at the last minute - we knew we had to cancel by a certain date so I'm not complaining. It would not have been fair to the host. The only negative I will share is the house smelled a little musty, which we didn't really like. We used the febreeze in the closet and it was fine.

It is rare to find a 3 bedroom house with 3 king beds! So nice to have the extra room. The most well stocked house—all the extras you might need!

We were excited to find a nice house with good reviews for a ladies trip to see a concert. It was relayed to the host why we were staying. Home is listed that it sleeps 8. 3 kings and a sleeper sofa. When I booked, I noticed there was a charge for "additional guests". I inquired, & the host said it's an extra $ per day, per guest, for anyone over TWO PEOPLE, in a home that is advertised that it sleeps 8. Although minimal, this is a ridiculous & petty charge. If you need money that bad, just factor it into the rental amount per night. Then, 100% my error while booking, I accidentally selected Friday night to reserve, instead of Saturday night for the concert. I did not catch this on the booking receipt since I was annoyed with the additional charges. Again, 100% my error. The host then sent the check in info on Wednesday, and wrote in bold, that check in was "FRIDAY". I replied, still not realizing my error & let her know our booking was for Saturday. She replied letting me know I selected the wrong day, Friday. Now in panic mode since we were traveling from another city for the concert Saturday, I let her know it was an accident on my part. She immediately said Saturday was booked already & couldn't change the date. I then asked if she'd be willing to work with us on canceling since we didn't need Friday night. I couldn't find cancelation details listed, as it said "not eligible" or similar since it was the week of. She let me know WE put her in a jam by "blocking her calendar". Mind you, I haven't asked for any money back and fully admitted my error with the booking date. She proceeded to tell me she'd give less than 1/3 back IF I canceled and she rebooked with another guest. So she wanted to keep most of our money, AND get another full rent from another guest for the SAME night. I let her know AGAIN, that it was my error and wasn't expecting a refund on the rental amount. I asked if she'd be willing to just refund the cleaning fee and the (ridiculous) additional guest fees, since we would not be staying there so nothing to clean and obviously no additional guests. I understand this is form of income for people but a little compassion goes a long way. I asked for her help to make a stressful situation a little better. She then ghosted me and never responded to me asking if she'd be willing to refund the cleaning and guest fees. I guess their other "business", Journey Home Ministries missed the sermons on Sunday about greed and compassion. Sad.

Location cannot be beat. Very close to downtown, the Coliseum (we were into town for the NCAA Tournament), shopping, restaurants, etc. Several of the top restaurants in Greensboro like Hops Burger Bar and Scrambled Southern Diner were within a mile of the house. The Greensboro Arboretum was a great place to take walks and was less than a half mile from the home. The home was well stocked from k-cups to bathroom and shower supplies. The owner/manager were very quick to respond to any questions. Quiet, safe neighborhood. It was just my husband and I so the one small bathroom wasn't an issue for us. The living room sofas should be replaced. They weren't very comfortable. Appreciated the quaintness of the older home and would stay again when visiting.

Great property that is exactly as the owner described. Clean as a whistle, comfortable beds, and many extras! Our property manager was amazing. Very prompt on any of my questions, I was able add 2 people to the rental at nearly the last minute! Easy to follow instructions and overall lovely experience!

This house was exactly what our family needed. A house that was easy to access and nice with a pet-friendly environment. Our two small dogs (doodles) enjoyed the fenced backyard which made our stay even more enjoyable for the rest of us. Location is good as well.

Great value for size for living spaces, great beds, big outdoor space, nicely renovated kitchen, very clean. The bathroom has not been renovated in a functional way. It is small, tight and in serious need of maintenance/renovation. Check in was easy and owner was communicative.

SO clean and fresh. Lots of great coffee for the Keurig and condiments available. Comfortable bed. Loved that we could bring our dog with us too. Very helpful when we had questions. Will definitely keep this one on our list!

We stayed for 3 night to attend a wedding nearby. The house was great for our short visit and was great having a fenced in yard for our 3 yr old. The house was supplied with lots of toys and books and a pack & play. A short drive to the Greensboro childrens museum (and must for young kids!) and downtown for food.

Fantastic communication with owner. Location and neighborhood perfect. Super comfortable beds, you will sleep like a baby! House has little thoughtful amenities throughout..house lacked nothing you need for your stay! . Fenced in play run for your fur baby. Close to shopping and Highpoint University! Will definitely stay here again next year to move daughter into college!

Great Hosts & Great Location!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here as did our pups who enjoyed the fenced backyard. House is in a charming neighborhood near Lindley Park and is conveniently located to many great attractions and amenities. While there we checked out the Greensboro Science Center and took a day trip out to Asheville to see the Biltmore Estate. Check in was a breeze and the house was clean and comfortable. Emilie and Tim were very responsive to our messages. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definitely recommend!

Worth a Stay, but Can Use Improvement
I am giving this property a 5-star rating because it was SPOTLESS and the owner was extremely responsive. Further, the location simply cannot be beat and check-in/check-out were as smooth as it gets. This said, my family of 5 probably will not stay again. Notes to the owner:
* The items available for toddlers are great! The lack of a railing off the entry stoop, however, is a significant hazard. Please add one.
* The gate at the back is hard to operate from the inside. Please consider installing a different latch.
* The property has king/queen beds in all bedrooms but it does not have dressers; it seems they were sacrificed in favor of the larger bedds. Suggestion -- consider getting some of those cheap drawer units from Wal-Mart and putting them into the closets at least. They will fit.
* We were a bit disappointed at the work done by the cleaning & refresh service. The towels were clean, but not folded before being placed into the linen closet, and the washclothes were in two different places which was initially confusing. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we checked in, although we quickly located it in the linen closet (we did have to contact the owner about paper towels though we got an extremely fast response).
* The front yard was overgrown and plants were intruding onto the driveway. Please have your service at least cut it back to clear the drive.
Again, this property is well worth a stay and I am certain that the host/owner will be glad to consider my feedback. Also, please note that all these items are MINOR, easily fixed, and should not leave anyone to hesitate on renting, particularly if it's a smaller party without toddlers. I'm happy to recommend the place and the host -- it's far and away much better than staying in a hotel.

Perfect location!
This Lindley Park find was such a saving grace for us during our stay in our Greensboro for the swimming state championship. We were only a few minutes away from both the Greensboro Aquatic Center and Friendly Shopping Center. We could not have asked for a more convenient location. The home was extremely clean and well stocked. We will definitely book again for future meets!
