Nestled in Snowshoe, this lovely condo for $75 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. COVID UPDATE: OUR GUESTS' SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND IS PARAMOUNT. DETAILED DISINFECTING AND CLEANING PRACTICES ARE BEING EMPLOYED AS OUTLINED BY THE CDC. SUPER CLEAN! NEW DECK! - Mountain Lodge 238 sleeps four (4) comfortably, and has a direct view of the slopes! It is located adjacent to Snowshoe Village where you will find restaurants & shops. Great condo for those who like to watch the action at the lift! Views of Shavers Lake and the mountains. You will totally feel at home in this efficient condo, it has everything you need to rest up after a fun day on the slopes. Only steps away from The Village and the Ballhooter lift. Once you arrive, park in the security-guarded lot and you won’t have to drive again until you are ready to leave. Expanded bathroom. Wall mount TV in bedroom (queen). Sleeps four comfortably. Modern kitchen with new oak cabinets. Refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Full size stove and oven. Coffee maker. New dinette set. Cozy living room with a fold-out couch. Coin operated laundry facilities are located down the hall by the elevators. NOTE: The unit now has flat-screen tv in the living area. - Dedicated high-speed Internet inside the condo (City Net) - DISH Network HD TV Channels including HBO and Cinemax - Please note that there is an entrance fee to use Split Rock Pools. - PETS AND SMOKING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Coin operated laundry facilities are located down the hall near the elevators. Large lobby with comfortable sofas and tables for games surrounding wood-burning fire place. Video game (arcade) room. This is a privately-owned unit. The owner will not be present. Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia is the premier ski resort in the Mid-Atlantic region with a whopping elevation of 4,848 feet. Typically, Snowshoe receives an average of 180 inches of natural snowfall each year. Snowshoe features 57 trails within 3 different ski areas: The Basin, The Western Territory and Silver Creek with 100% snowmaking capabilities in each area. The Western Territory boasts expert only terrain with a 1,500 foot vertical drop and the longest trail on the mountain, 1.5 miles. Silver Creek is popular for its night skiing, terrain park features and the Coca-Cola tubing park. A free shuttle service is provided to get you from one area to another. If you are not a skier or rider, there are still plenty of wintertime activities for the whole family. Snowshoe Mountain offers Polaris RZR and Snowmobile tours, as well as SnowCat tours where you can learn more about the art of grooming. Plus, there are a variety of shops and restaurants in the village and around the mountain. If you are looking for some relaxation and pampering, you may want to visit the Spa at Snowshoe. In the summertime, Snowshoe continues its vibrancy with festivals, such as Blues, Brews and BBQs, Fire on the Mountain Chili Cook-Off, The Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) off-road ATV and motorcycle racing series, FreeFall Festival and other various wine and jazz events. If you are one for lots of activity, Snowshoe offers rugged Segway tours, hiking, downhill mountain biking (you can even put your bike on the lift and get a ride to the top), kayaking, canoeing, fishing at Shavers Lake and golf at the Raven Golf Course. Motorcyclists flock to the mountain to enjoy all of the curvy mountainous and scenic roads in the area. If you are looking to hop aboard a historic steam train, Cass Railroad is the place to go. The station is just 10 miles away. For a longer day trip, head to Seneca Rocks for some amazing rock climbing and cliff views. More details on Snowshoe’s winter and summer events and activities can be found on their website, it is definitely worth a visit! Free local shuttle. Guest will be required to electronically sign a standard rental agreement with Mountaintop Condos - prior to check-in. An example rental agreement can be provided upon request. Holiday weekends (MLK and President's) require a 3 night minimum with Friday check in only! No pets. No smoking. No bikes inside condos.

I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was a nice size for the three of us, but a group of four would probably be cramped. It’s certainly not luxury, but it was very clean and has a nice deck that you share with the next door rental. The air conditioner worked surprisingly well. Wi-Fi was decent. It’s in a nice building convenient to town

Location for this condo can't be beat. Right on the slopes and easy parking. Easy check in, supplies if needed. The condo is a bit dated and kids said the pull out couch pretty uncomfortable. Other than that it worked out great.

This is a confy apartment, with all basic facilities, right in the ski area. The only major issue is that wifi worked really poorly. Only the bedroom had decent coverage, which was a problem.

We walked into an excessively strong smell of Indian food; Kept the window and door open over one hour but the smell still stayed. The front desk said there was nothing they can do about it; the smell was so strong, it would make you sick; it was on furniture and appliances, everywhere. Next day we bought cleaning products and whipped everything so that the room became livable. Than many things were broken or fall when you touch it (under cabinet light, coffee maker, oven, lights, tub was clogged etc). Needs a loving hand; and certainly some renovations

My children and I loved the convenience of this unit at Mountain Lodge. A little snug, but very clean, well stocked, with gorgeous mountain views and balcony right next to Ballhooter Lift and the Waffle Cabin for the kids! Perfect for us! We hope to be back. Highly recommended!!

To be honest, we spent little time in the condo. Busy all day and only returned around nine. Place was clean and well equipped. Had an issue with the AC, the hose that sends the hot air outside was damaged, rendering the air conditioner useless but it cooled off at night so we just opened the door. Nice area to stay.

This is the perfect place to stay for two people! This was the perfect location too. Waking up in the morning next to the Ballhooter and walking out your door to ski was the best! Highly recommend.

Older condo; Great location for skiing
Great location - very convenient to the village and you can walk right out to the Ballhooter lift. The condo itself is dated (think 1970s) and quite small but it was comfortable for two people. The plumbing is also quite dated - we had a toilet issue (clog) right when we checked in. (Always check the toilet before using in every rental. Always.) Building maintenance did their best to unclog (bless them) but we were warned to be careful and we were happy we only needed to deal with it for one night. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The Mountain Lodge is pretty bare bones, nothing fancy and the unit is nice. The thing we liked the most was the convenience to the slopes & village and the great view! The unit owner is also very nice to work with.

The place as a whole was 70's and could use some updates for the building it self. Location was great. My only real complaint was there was no spices or cooking oils or papper plates. It now has those. It was clean and nice

Right on the top of the mountain and next to the village! Only complaint was that the heat was difficult to control, and would seem to delay turning and and shutting off leading to some hot nights for people in the bedroom. Otherwise great stay!
