Stayed here for a race walking clinic which was high intensity. It was so nice to return to this house with it’s beautiful grounds. House was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby if you choose not to cook. Overall a good experience and would recommend

Decided last minute to extend a weekend family visit, to avoid the Long Island summer traffic! I am so glad I did! This cozy cottage was a serendipitous discovery~ It has all the comforts of home, it’s peaceful and very private (you feel like you’re nestled in the midst of an enchanted forest). Rick was very friendly and helpful. Oyster Bay and the surrounding area is just lovely. Would LOVE to stay again!

This little cottage-like property was exactly what we needed for a couple days of relaxation. The house was so clean and well kept that we had no worries about who had been there before us. It was clear that the owners take pride in their property and they also do everything themselves! We would not hesitate to go back!

This time we got to enjoy watching fireflies outside at dusk and into the early evening, it was magical. We also went biking around the Oyster Bay/Bayville area which (although quite strenuous at times) was also very pretty. This is a great place to stay if you want a beautiful setting, very comfortable and well-appointed apartments, friendly hosts and some P&Q. After our last stay we were inspired to add a sculpture to our home that's reminiscent of one that is in this apartment 😀

The ‘cottage’ was perfect—well adorned, quiet and very private, surrounded by beautiful woods. The location was great and central for exploring the lush north shore of Long Island as well as hitting the south shore beach. And each morning we seem to stumble upon a new hiking area close by to explore. Our stay really was magical. We look forward to returning soon!

From the moment you pass through the gated entry and are greeted by the beautiful bucolic grounds and wind chimes at the barn where Santeria greets you you know you’ve entered a place of peace and solitude. It was a wonderfully tranquil stay. I took everything I brought with me to Berry Hill farm except I left a piece of heart and hope to return again.

A cozy, comfortable, private cottage with all conveniences set among beautiful grounds with horses, shepherds, chickens and rabbits for neighbors. Ralph and Rick were excellent hosts who accomodated all of our needs during our 6 week visit.

What the description on vrbo fails to mention is the great piece of land the bungalow is on. There's a huge meadow behind the garden, and so many gorgeous corners and little areas of flora and vegitation. It's absolutely beautiful. The little house is perfect for a couple, well equipped and very clean. The host is really nice and approachable and we also made friends with the 4 beautiful horses on the premises. We stayed there at the time of covid and it was the perfect break from a locked down NYC we needed.

I can't recommend this cottage enough. A great location, very clean with all the amenities and fantastic hosts. Thank you very much.

We were in town for a wedding and so happy we decided to stay at Berry Hill Farm. Beautiful property and cottage! A+ hospitality. Amazing location that offered the perfect weekend getaway. Wonderful experience!

I surprised my husband with an overnight stay on Berry Hill Farm and he was blown away by the beautiful cottage at this serene location. From the moment we drove past the gates as they opened up for us, we were both elated with the views of the grounds as we drove along the pebbled path up to the cottage. The cottage is warm, inviting and most certainly described with the utmost accuracy. However, all of the intricate details within the cottage surpassed my expectations which accentuated the true beauty of this hidden gem. We took advantage of the beautiful spring day and walked along the grounds and embraced the sounds/views of nature... bunny's hopping, birds chirping, petals blowing away from the floral trees. We even spent some time with the horses who were very friendly and welcoming. Berry Hill Farm is a prime location to simply sit back and just relax; it was truly a breathtaking experience! A special THANK YOU to Rick for coordinating some pre-arrival requests and assistance throughout our stay. Your hospitality was very much appreciated and made the Berry Hill Farm experience even more delightful.

This is a wonderful place. Very relaxing and quiet. Rick was very hospitable and there if needed. The property is really cool. I was very surprised by the amount of land and the unique character of the property. Would definite stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here while my daughter attended a class at the Cold Spring Harbor DNA Lab. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and quiet, in a serene setting. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful with suggestions. A tour of the Teddy Roosevelt house and arboretum are definitely worthwhile. We would definitely stay here again.
