About this house rental
Situated in Granite Shoals, this attractive house for $350 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This newly remodeled and delightfully furnished lake house is nestled in a very peaceful setting with approx 150 ft of waterfront. THIS is the place for winter snowbirds and/or lake enthusiast. Spacious 3 bedroom home with approx 2112 sq ft. Total beds sleep 7with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 3 twins . There are beautiful lake views from every room. Large deck off entire back of home and extra large windows to take it all in. Home sits on three lots making this the place for your family and friends to gather, spread out and enjoy each other and the lake. We are pet friendly and have a fully fenced yard (except at the waters edge). Bring the boat and trailer. Boat parking along side of bulkhead with multiple tie ups in quiet no wake cove right out your back door-public park with boat ramp steps away from home for additional options to lake access. Great opportunity to be right on the coveted and controlled level Lake LBJ. The lake is a long and pretty lake with many coves to explore. From the lake house you can boat East to the Wirtz Dam, or South to Horseshoe Bay, or go North to Kingsland then go West and explore the Llano River. If you do not have a boat or personal watercraft, you can rent one locally. The quaint town of Marble Falls is ten minutes away, with shopping, movies, restaurants, spas, gym, HEB (grocery), Wal-Mart, and many more amenities to take advantage of. LOCATION: On Lake LBJ in Granite Shoals in the middle of the stunning Texas Hill Country and is only 60 miles and 55 minutes from the Austin airport, 90 miles and 90 minutes north of San Antonio and about 200 miles and a four hour drive South from Dallas/Fort Worth and West Northwest of Houston. This was our second time at the lake house and it was just as perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the house is thoughtfully appointed, the kitchen is open and lovely to cook in. And THE VIEW from the living room. I could sit on the couch for hours. It’s such an inviting space. We will return!!

The house has a large kitchen and living room area and spacious deck that was perfect for a family weekend getaway. But, the house is not exactly on the lake. It is on a canal that feeds into the lake and the backyard faces a parking lot and public boat ramp. It was pretty quiet all weekend and there weren't too many cars there, so it was ok. The yard is fenced and they allow pets, so we enjoyed being able to bring our dogs. The cooking supplies need to be updated. The pots and pans are very cheap and the knives were all totally dull. It made preparing food for our large group difficult. Also, there is only soap in the bathrooms and nothing else. I've never stayed at an AirBnb that didn't have shampoo. Even the cheapest motels have shampoo. Also, the outside of the house was very dirty. There were cobwebs everywhere and all of the patio furniture was filthy. My husband spent 30 minutes after we arrived sweeping and dusting everything off before his elderly parents arrived. I can only speak for the beds we slept on, but the mattresses were comfortable and the bedding was nice. Overall, this place is ok for a weekend getaway and priced reasonably for the number of bedrooms and amount of space.

This house was perfect! Huge living room, dining room and kitchen where we were about 80% of the time. Carol has the kitchen very nicely stocked! We did not need a thing! The outside was nice. The water was perfect for floating around and keeping cool on a really hot day! There was plenty of shade for those that did not get in but wanted to be by the water. Overall this house was excellent! Thanks again Carol!

We had two couples, a 2 year old, two kids in elementary school and two dogs. The elementary age kids LOVED the loft! Was absolutely perfect for them. We had never stayed in a rental with a fenced yard- this was so nice! Carol really did think of everything to make this dog friendly. The two year old did great too! There was a nice park less then 2 minutes walking distance that was well shaded. The loft also had a doggie gate (or ”kids” gate) to block from going up stairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, but not many plastic items. So for kids I would pack non breakable dishes. It really was a great weekend getaway. Would stay here again!

Our stay was very enjoyable mainly because the property is extremely nice and welcoming. As described in the listing, easy check-in, host communicated quickly. I was able to tie off my boat with the cleats that are installed along the retaining wall, which made accessing the water very easy. We would definitely be back and highly recommend.

The house was beautiful with a layout that accommodated a family of five plus two friends very well. The yard was spacious and well kept and we had seamless access to lake LBJ from the backyard. Plenty of towels and linens for the week which also included items for our fur-baby! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to grill outside or cook a big family meal inside. Carol was accommodating and easy to communicate with. You can tell from the moment you walk inside that the owner had your comfort in mind. We will definitely return to this lovely place!

The house was aesthetically amazing. Everything was remodeled, modern and looked fantastic and still felt very cozy. The location was right on the lake and the fenced area and large lawn were great for our dogs to play. The kids fished from the dock and we were able to rent a boat and park right at the property to load our stuff on. We had a great relaxing time and would definitely like to rent again!

A group of ladies rented this property for a "booked" weeked of reading. When searching, I was looking for a property with good outdoor areas with lots of seating and comfortable places to read indoors. This property was absolutely perfect and checked all of the boxes. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated home, spacious kitchen area, and comfortable beds. The views from the outdoor deck are beautiful all day, and the chairs were comfortable for sitting in the Texas breeze.
Marble Falls was close by for snacks, and we made sure to stop by the Bluebonnet Cafe for Pie Happy Hour! Lovely property, and we will be back for more trips in the future.

House is freshly renovated and feels brand new. Luxurious but not pretentious. Great spot for a relaxing visit. Easy water access. Calm shallow water for paddle boarding and tube-lounging.

A wonderful house for the family! The loft room was perfect for our children and the majority of the house was safe for my mother and her walker to navigate. We did family puzzles on the big dining room table, cooked a holiday dinner in the gorgeous kitchen, and the back patio overlooking the lake was perfect. We were there for the worst of the cold weather over the holidays and were still warm and cozy in the house. It was a great place to spend the holidays.

Only complaint is the electronic lock didn’t work during our time there—we were able to get into the house just fine but couldn’t lock it again despite watching several videos on how it should work.

This property is lovely. However, for sleeping purposes the maximum number of people it will accommodate is 5. The upstairs beds are not useable because of the heat!! We had to move the mattresses downstairs to the living room which was not easy. If you are looking for a rental for a party of 4, I highly recommend this property.

We loved this spacious home! The outdoor living space was fantastic as well! Our only con would be the shallow canal that wasn’t the best for swimming, but it was great fishing and paddle boarding! The kids had a blast catching sunfish and a catfish! The yard was perfect for our dogs and kids to run and play. The boat slip is used by the owners but there’s plenty of shoreline to tie up. Another tv would be nice as the kids pretty much took over the living room for their game machine, but overall it was perfect for us!

Overall great stay. Close to boat launch and nice spot to tie off boat. Need to be careful though as the cove is shallow. House was clean and nice with great outdoor deck to enjoy view of cove. We had to adjust the sleeping arrangements because the loft was hot even with the fans provided but was not a big deal for us. Would stay again!
