Brand New 2 Bedroom at the Beach in Carlsbad! Walk from your door to Carlsbad's famous Tamarack Beach Park in 50 steps, and less than 3 minutes! You can also walk to the Village, only about 1/2 mile away, where all the shops and restaurants are. Spacious and comfortable, with partial ocean view from the living room, this beautiful condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, big kitchen, living room, deck, grill and outdoor ocean view dining area. Fully equipped with TV, WiFi, beach gear, all linens, kitchen tools, etc. Gorgeous inside and out and super convenient to everything with off-street parking. There is a queen bed in each bedroom. If you love the beach, this is the place for your vacation! Area Information Carlsbad has it all: great beaches, great restaurants, fun nightlife, and plenty of interesting little shops to visit in the Village.

The only thing I wish I knew was that there aren’t any extras… for example- if you are cooking- there are no condiments or spices or oil or coffee or anything. So be prepared to bring everything you might need. But by far the cleanest place I have stayed and that’s all I can ask for.

Property was close to the beach and within a walk to restaurants. It’s located on a quiet street but close to the main drag. Great location to park your car for a weekend or more and explore the surroundings on foot, if you want to.

This was my second time at this property. It is the perfect location for a romantic getaway or a long vacation. I actually used this location to propose to my now fiancé. The owner and property manager were very accommodating for my plans to do this. Can’t thank them enough.

Long weekend getaway
Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Great location and really nice place. We loved the decor and the amenities. It was very comfortable, great view of the beach from the master bedroom balcony.
We’ll definitely be back— hopefully for longer next time!

Great experience with this rental
Great experience staying at this property. Everything in the house was very clean and comfortable. Property manager was quick to respond when we had some confusion with the keys. Super comfortable walk to the beach and to Carlsbad center, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend/ stay again.

Clean, spacious, great location, could improve amenities
The location can't be beat -- half a block from Carlsbad beach -- and this unit is immaculate and roomy enough for a family stay. If you are a family coming for a week or more in summer, though, make note that there's no washer/dryer. Also, while the kitchen equipment supply is excellent and beach chairs and other stuff for the beach are there, there's a surprising lack of some basic things we've always found at other VRBOs: no toiletries, no hair dryer, no small supply of coffee so you don't have to run to the grocery store before your first morning there. These feel like basics, not frills, and if provided, would make this a 5-start stay.

Fantastic condo just steps from the beach and a very short drive to Legoland.
Very clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. We enjoyed it being so close to the beach and Legoland for our young kids.

Loved our stay and didn't want to leave
What a great place, close enough to the ocean that you could hear the surf, close to Carlsbad town that you could walk there. It was spacious, clean, quiet, had a garage and we could bring our dog. While vacationing there we had a couple of glitches happen and the matters were taken care of promptly and with courtesy. I would highly recommend this lovely vacation property and we'd love to return.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, uodated and had everything needed for a beach vacation, even beach towels. It was great have the cooler and the beach chairs. No air conditioning but it's not needed, there is always a breeze off the ocean. It was close enough we could walk into Carlsbad and there were many good places to eat and things to see. I would definitely rent this home again! The washer and dryer were great to have onsite. The only con, the second bath shower did not have anywhere to put shampoos and such, so we went and bought a small caddy to hang from the shower head and then it was perfect!

Fantastic stay!
Our family had a wonderful time in this nice and spacious apartment. Clean, well equipped. Short walk from village center. Practical floorpan with 2 bedrooms and and 2 bathrooms, plus large living room. Can't wait to go back :-).

Great Property Super Close to the Beach
Our family had a great time. Probably wouldn't go during a heat wave since there is not air conditioning, but Genny, the property manager was super helpful. The property was nice and we will visit again.

We had a great family weekend!
We would definitely stay again. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and has everything you need for a great beach vacation. We were especially pleased to have beach supplies in the garage and to be able to park off the street was awesome. Great location!!!!!

Great location
We enjoyed our stay in the upper unit. It is very spacious and comfortable. When we arrived, the unit was very clean and the kitchen is nicely stocked. They have a garage for the car, which is amazing since it's hard to find parking so close to the beach. Speaking of the beach, this rental is steps away and there are great sidewalks and bike paths all along the waterfront, so it's ideal for nice strolls, walks, or runs!
I would've liked to have a blow dryer, body wash/soap and shampoo in the bathroom but there was only hand soap. Considering the cost of this rental, it would seem that the owners would do that for the guests. Remember to bring your own if you rent this unit.

Great place right on the beach!
We had a great time at the apartment. It was nicely furnished with comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms and kitchen. Super convenient to the beach--only steps away!
One gripe was that we were a family of four and provided with only 4 towels for a 3 night stay which I thought was too few. Also, for some inexplicable reason, all the lighting and electrical outlets are backwards (up is off; down is on, etc.). very strange.
Other than that, it was lovely.

Spent 3 days, and wish we had more time! Loved walking across the street to enjoy the beautiful beach. Short ride to Oceanside and San Diego. Lovely area, once we figured out how to deal with the California traffic! Would love to visit again!

What A Great Place to Stay!!!
What a Great Place to Stay! The Condo was Extremely Spacious and Clean and very Close to the Beach. They had everything to accommodate your every need. There were beach toys there as well as chairs and an umbrella which was so very nice. The house had all the kitchen items needed to feel like you were at your own home. Overall this place is wonderful and I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to have another Vacation here!

We stayed here a few weeks back and really enjoyed it. About 1/2 block from the sand and perfect seeing as we have 2 young kids, with all their gear etc.... we didnt have to schlepp very far at all. The unit was clean and very well taken care of. We used the BBQ grill out back a few nights, and others we took a 3 min bike ride into town where there are a ton of good places to eat. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms updated and there was a nice space outside to lounge around and watch the sunset as the kids played in the yard. No problems with the key exchange and the property manager was there to help us in every way from start to finish. All in all, an excellent trip to Sunny SD and a well deserved vacation from the colder Northeast weather. Highly recommended.
