There is an additional 1,350 sq ft in the lower level. Your visit to Western NC will be unforgettable making you want to return often ! ! ! Lower level master bedroom has a king size bed & queen size sofa-bed. We a bunk room that sleeps 2 additional guests. The bath has a beautiful walk-in shower & two vanities. Lower level also has a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, flat screen HD TV, new floors & two spectacular stone accent walls. Wrap around deck on the lower level & a stone fire pit for your nighttime enjoyment. Each level can be made as one home with a indoor staircase adjourning floors or as two private floors with entrances on different levels & constructed with extra sound proofing between levels for privacy & quiet. Each unit has separate heat/AC units. NO SMOKING ARE ALLOWED IN OUR HOME. Also, to keep unit free of allergens we use Green Cleaning products. We require a minimum age of 32 years old to rent our home. We have a surveillance camera on the outside of the home facing the driveway. PET FEE is for one dog. The house is set with a beautiful Mountain View. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The owners were prompt and easy to communicate with. Our only issue was the number of bedrooms had been listed incorrectly but after discussing with the owner, they corrected the listing. One suggestion would be when calling the property manager for the check in details that she keep it to more of a minimum. We felt the conversation was very long and most items to be common sense. Maybe put it in written detail with the instructions in the kitchen… Overall we had a great stay!

Our group enjoyed having this property as our "home base" in the mountains for the weekend. The property manager was communicative and proactive. Close in proximity to all the attractions, the house also provided comfy beds for three couples and each couple's children. Plenty of space to spread out, and an absolutely lovely view!

Our stay at the Blue Ridge Mtn Retreat was great, very peaceful and spacious. This particular home is somewhat hidden but not remote, as it is within 10 min. driving distance to the local community. The home was clean and properly stocked. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a large gathering of family and friends for your next stay. The communication with the property manager was very good as well should you have any needs.

We had a great weekend with family and friends. Even with 6 kids and 2 dogs we didn't feel cramped. There was an issue with the dryer not working and the property manager solved it for us quickly. There is not a lot of room to hike around near the property, but it is in close proximity to a lot of things to do and see. We did run into several wasp nests on the upper deck. Other than that we had a great time.

It is a great two nights stay at this house and visit the beautiful blue ridge road in the Fall. The house and the host/manger are great. The only thing can be improved is the Wi-Fi. Maybe it is a good thing we can enjoy more on the nature than the internet. The Google may lead you to a neighbor house and a big sign/mark at the final turn may help a lot, especially when you arrive at night.

Property is tucked away up in the mountains, spacious and very comfortable bedrooms, kitchen well stocked, works wonderfully for multi- families when you book up and downstairs! Ida the property manager was very good about communicating.

We had a good weekend stay at the property. Here are some pros/cons.
Cons
-The owners had previous damage by guests and so it felt very micromanaged from the beginning. Lots of rules, a vetting process, 20 min phone call with property manager, extra stress that sucked some of the fun.
-No shampoo/soaps, no coffee, (amenties that are normally found at rentals)
-door lock was broken and had to use 1 physical key for the whole house and there was a door to a bedroom that was broken and had to stay open :(
Pros- large clean house, awesome back decks to hang out, nice fireplace (bring your own supplies)

Very nice home to stay for a few days to a week. Great location to everything! Home was exactly as described. Plenty of space to relax but the only thing missing is a hot tub. Road getting in needs improvement due to rain but manageable. Overall we had a great time and would do again!

The property was incredible. It was perfect for our getaway with the grandchildren for a visit to Sliding Rock and some other waterfalls and swimming holes. Can't wait to return soon and visit some other attractions!

Great House
The house is well maintained overall and we had plenty of room for six adults and three kids (we rented the bottom unit as well as the top). The property manager was extremely communicative and helpful with any questions. The trash service had neglected to come the week prior (through no fault of the property owner) and the dumpster was full, so the property manager drove up to the property to pick up our trash when needed, so there was absolutely no issue for us. The driveway getting to the house is pretty steep, but they make that clear in the listing. We had no issues getting in and out of the property during our stay. This location is off the beaten path and a great place to go if you are just trying to get away and enjoy some time with family or friends.

The bunk beds are clearly too short for adults and the top bunk isn’t really safe for a child. Also, there is only one bathroom which is not reasonable for six people.

Wonderful location for family mountain weekend
We enjoyed our stay!
The house and views are exactly as pictured, and we could not have enjoyed the outside deck areas any more than we did. It is an extremely private property that is well-located in Fletcher, NC. Our family was close to all of the activities that we wanted to do with our children (Nix Pumpkin Patch and Jeter Mountain Farm) and the activities that the adults on the trip wanted to do (Sierra Nevada, shop in downtown Hendersonville). Everything about the home was well-kept and maintained.
We rented both the top and bottom floors so we’d have plenty of room with our 6 adults and 2 kids.
The only downside to this property is that there is nowhere outside to explore around the house. You’re kind of perched up on a ledge with no yard. We wanted to take a walk with our girls, but the driveway/road up to the house was entirely too steep for a 2.5 year old to walk on and would have been treacherous with a stroller. Also, if you’re traveling during football season and are an avid fan, be sure to have another way to watch the games. The TV did not carry ESPN (or channels like ACC Network or SEC Network).
