My suggestion would be to declutter and update the furniture and accessories. The bed was comfortable but the other furniture was undersized for the average person and outdated. The bedding and rugs had stains, tears, bleach spots but was cleanish. We had a pleasant stay and we’re close to market. We appreciate the stay!

We're interior designers attending High Point Market and the distance to the park and ride and downtown is about a 5 minute drive. Jane was super nice and very responsive. She was also flexible with check-in and helpful with providing extra bedding and a blow up mattress. We didn't cook and can't comment on the kitchen except for the coffee maker which worked great. Otherwise we really only showered and slept there. The interior was charming but dark (lighter lamp shades would brighten the rooms). Overall it's a cute cottage and worked for our needs.

The owner was fantastic!. Barely had warm water for showering. Airconditioner hard to cool during day hours. Owner mentioned ants in the bathroom when we got there. Couple of deck chairs were dry rotted under the chair, and I mentioned that to the owner. The owner appreciated me letting her know about the deck chairs. The location of the house was close by to my son's wedding venue. Our overall stay was very nice.

Perfect place to hang our hats during the Checkout from the dorms at HPU! Location was perfect —accessible to everything in a matter of minutes. Property was welcoming and everything in fine working order, especially the ice maker! Our beds were comfy and there was plenty of space in the house, on the porch and deck that we were not on top of each other. Looking forward to returning. Communication with the owner was superior.

We had a very nice trip to the area and the house was conveniently located for our purposes. It’s a lovely little house with a lot of cute and kitschy decor and Jane was very helpful when we had an issue with the wifi.

This property is very much as advertised. The host is very accommodating. We had trouble getting in initially but she drove right over and helped us in. I don't think we even waited 5 minutes. The host also checked to be sure we had everything we needed after check in. My mom had plans on visiting again, she will definitely stay at this location if it's available.

We were not initially planning to provide a VRBO review but after benefitting from comments and reviews when looking at other places to stay we changed our mind. Most other reviews of this property were good, so it is possible that our experience was just a hiccup with the property. On the plus side, we had a great time at The Greenhouse over our weekend stay being able to visit with friends and family on the deck and in the sitting room. The space fit that exact need. It was extra special as some of the people we were able to see initially thought they couldn’t make it. The house was very cute and comfortable and we even ended up making dinner and using the grill on Sunday night. Our detailed negative comments were provided directly to the host about some of the things that were not so good, especially the level of cleanliness at the property. It is this area of review that generated the low rating from us. Since many of the other reviews are so high, hopefully the issues we encountered are “one time only” and addressed. If they are, and we are able to go back again, we look forward to providing an updated, and much higher, review of The Greenhouse.

Nice cottage for our brief 2 day stay dropping our daughter off at HPU. 10 minute drive to campus and close to Main Street for restaurants etc. Don’t think they are within walking distance. Jane was great and responsive!

The Greenhouse is a lovingly restored and decorated cottage filled with antiques, but also all the modern appliances and features you would hope for in a rental. Beautiful deck overlooking a large lawn and gorgeous shrubs. Quiet neighborhood, but just off a main road leading to quick access to the entire area. Jane answered all our questions quickly and accommodated our special request. We recommend it highly, but hope it is available the next time we are in the area.

This house has all that you need for 2-3 people, full kitchen, beds were comfortable and you are close to groceries, gas, etc. has a High Point University feel to it. Jane was great and even sent us a back pack that was left behind !
