About this house rental
The Mountain Bear Cabin is perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway or a gathering of friends. It offers 2 driveways for easy parking of 4 or 5 vehicles. When you walk up to this home there is a huge front porch with a covered entry. Venture inside to the newly remodeled home and you'll also find a very modern kitchen that has everything you need which looks onto the dining area perfect for entertaining. The home is built around this truly 'great room' feel with lots of seating for large family dinners. An overstuffed sectional couch and a cozy fireplace is perfect for snuggling up and watching a movie on the flat screen tv. There is also a DVD Express at the local Thriftway (like a red box) or you can watch one of our many 250+ selection of Blu-ray/dvds. If you have a show you need to catch up on you can watch cable tv or Netflix from the Blu-Ray player. If watching tv is not what you planned there are plenty of board games for the whole family along with an Xbox 360 Kinect with games, and wifi access. After a long day skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or biking, walk out of the French doors onto the back deck and take a dip in the 6 person hot tub equipped with multi colored lights, lounge and a waterfall feature. The large fully fenced back yard has an outdoor dining table, fireplace, lots of seating, and a separate huge fire pit for s'mores. The garage is also full of entertainment with ping pong, double basket ball, darts, and foosball. When it's time for bed or if you would like to have quiet reading time there are 4 separate sleeping areas: The bedroom on the main has a twin over full bunk bed, a twin size futon, and a hidden room with drop down stairs that kids love with a full size mattress. This room also has its own flat screen tv with Xbox 360 and games. The sitting area off the great room has a fold out queen couch. The room has curtains to close off the great room for a private sleeping area. The vaulted master suite has a King size bed, private balcony, private bath, walk in closet, and a futon. The Sandy River is only a short walk from the cabin. We are confident you will absolutely love this place! Friendly reminders: - No pets - Max occupancy is 10 people at all times

Cozy Cabin with Everything you need
Stayed here for 3 weeks and really enjoyed the home. Within 1 hours drive from PDX and really accessible to everything the Mt. Hood area has to offer. The hot tub and back deck were highlights, and the internet service was consistent for me to work remotely. I'll be back!

Close to hiking and outdoor fun, we enjoyed long and short outside trips. Raining, no problem plenty of board games and a game room.

Truly wish I was able to spend a couple more nights here, my partner and I loved this house so much. It has made us want a place of our own just like this in an area similar, because the peace and quiet of being away from the city has been to die for. Definitely will try to come back in the future if I can afford to stay longer. Definitely an experience to remember. The house is beautiful and spacious. It was very neat and tidy when we arrived and we hope we left it as nice as we found it. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to stay!

Overall Amazing Stay
Truly wish I was able to spend a couple more nights here, my partner and I loved this house so much. It has made us want a place of our own just like this in an area similar, because the peace and quiet of being away from the city has been to die for. Definitely will try to come back in the future if I can afford to stay longer. Definitely an experience to remember. The house is beautiful and spacious. It was very neat and tidy when we arrived and we hope we left it as nice as we found it. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to stay!

We stayed as a group with 6 people. The neighbors were fine. Half hour drive to Meadows. We’re a relatively “loud” group but it was easy to maintain respect in this property. The sauna was a HUGE bonus and the hottub/sauna was part of the reason we chose this property. The price per night reflects the overall condition of the property. One recommendation we have is to add blinds to the living room. Overall worth it. No regrets! Also love the singing bass in the upstairs bathroom

30 mins from meadows. Was great to relax in the hot tub after a day on the mountain. Cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen could use much attention. The home owners thought about every detail, there was plenty of utensils and basic supplies. The house was cozy and the hot tub was in great condition. There was a lot of towels and good instructions for everything. Several TVs and good internet service. I recommend this rental for families. We did a short walk to the river near by and the view was awesome with the snow.

Be prepared with warm clothes! The house was super cute and the game room was so much fun with our kids. Close to the mountain and the hot tub was great. Lots of movies and games. The only downsides would be that the entire house never got warm, it was only warm right around the fireplace so bring warm clothes! The other would be the lack of doors. The only actual doors for bedrooms was on the room with bunk beds, the other rooms just had curtains so sound travels. This was not a big deal as it was just our family but could be an issue if multiple people from different houses stay here. Overall though it was a great experience and a lovely house. We had a wonderful time staying here then going to the mountain for sledding.

Be prepared with warm clothes! The house was super cute and the game room was so much fun with our kids. Close to the mountain and the hot tub was great. Lots of movies and games. The only downsides would be that the entire house never got warm, it was only warm right around the fireplace so bring warm clothes! The other would be the lack of doors. The only actual doors for bedrooms was on the room with bunk beds, the other rooms just had curtains so sound travels. This was not a big deal as it was just our family but could be an issue if multiple people from different houses stay here. Overall though it was a great experience and a lovely house. We had a wonderful time staying here then going to the mountain for sledding.

Great properly, lots of beds, privacy, and fun entertainment (games, movies, ping pong, hot tub). I wanted to check in early and had trouble getting in contact with the host for a few days before my visit. Slow response time and the listed phone number is wrong/disconnected.

Property is fun for all. Kids can do what they want and adults can do what they want. There is a million movies, a game room that has fusball, ping pong, basketball and darts. The room dose have a musty odor but if you open the garage door it helps. There is a screened in fire pit and a large open fire pit and don't forget the jacuzzi. Oh, and also a room with Xbox with a ton of games! This house is very open (minimal doors) but so comfortable and cozy! Enjoy!!
