Hemlock Haven is a beautifully crafted log cabin in a quiet wooded paradise approximately 4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We are very close to the new Rocky Tops Sports Complex, and only minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. Our haven is ideal for a luxury Get-A-Way with the rustic mountain feel, simply perfect for a well deserved relaxing vacation in the Smokies. We offer all the necessary amenities and then some, including WiFi, Central Heat & Air Conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a charcoal grill, Comcast TV with WiFi, a fully stocked game room, a washer and dryer for convenience, plenty of room for parking, and an electric fireplace for a romantic evening. Create your 'Home away from Home'. Hemlock Haven has room for up to four adults, and 4 children, with two king-sized handcrafted log beds, a double futon, and a pull out couch. We loved the cabin! Was literally the next road over from Rocky Top Sports which is while we were there so it was perfect location! We loved how cozy the cabin felt and loved the gaming tables. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub was amazing! Will definitely be back.

We loved staying at this cabin! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and the location could not have been better, very close to the Rocky Top Sports Center. Communication with the owner was perfect. We'd love to stay here again sometime.

The kids loved the pool table and loft sleeping area. What a fun cabin with plenty to do. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve slept on yet.

Super easy process, very clean, everything advertised for property was present and working. 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Quiet evenings at cabin to soak in hot tub and unwind. Was a rainy weekend but deck remained dry and plenty of games inside to occupy us. Me amd my wife celebrated our 15 year anniversary there over the weekend and it is one to remember. Very relaxing and much needed!!!

This was the perfect place for a cozy getaway. We enjoyed shopping in downtown Gatlinburg and a day at Dollywood. Our favorite part of the trip was enjoying the amenities of the cabin along with some rest.

Home was beautiful and clean. Away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to do all of the activities we wanted to do. Hot tub was super relaxing. Beds were soft and comfortable. Games available made staying in on a rainy day entertaining. I cooked breakfast every morning and dinner 2 nights and the kitchen had everything we needed to make that happen. One thing to mention, if you're from flat Florida like us, the home is at the very top of a pretty steep driveway which made me nervous for icy conditions but nothing that can't be overcome and definitely didn't take away from the home or our stay, just wanted to mention for those of us that aren't accustomed to such things lol.

I loved our stay here! The cabin is so cute and so clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, I couldn’t wait to get in at night to lay on it lol. It’s the perfect location where you feel
secluded yet so close to town. Jim’s email was very descriptive and detail oriented, it made check in a breeze. We had no issues, everything was perfect!

Great stopping spot in Gatlinburg. It is close enough to all the spots we wanted to hit but far enough out so you are not in the crowds. Easy to run in to grab something if needed. Plenty to do at the house and the most comfortable beds if you like a soft bed (I am a total princess when it comes to beds) we did pack kleenex and extra detegrent after reading other reviews and that was handy. Small capacity laundry but great to have. Overall a great stay.

Definitely recommend Hemlock Havern to anyone wanting a fun getaway! We got married in town then spent the week there for our honeymoon! Such a beautiful cabin and it’s just close enough to downtown that it’s perfect! We will definitely come back!

Perfect stay at the house. Close enough to Gatlinburg attractions but in middle of nature with easy car access. Great place to sit on the porch with a coffee. Very clean and comfortable for our family. Jim is a perfect host with great communication. We'd love to return!

Our stay was amazing beautiful views and not to bad to get to. The location was perfect right between gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The alamo and dollar general are close just in case u need anything. The games were awesome upstairs the only complaint i would have is we had to buy extra trash bags and laundry detergent but not to big of deal just would recommend bringing extra.and the house could use a broom and a new vacumn other than that the trip was great thanks so much jim for letting my family use your place.

We absolutely loved our week at Hemlock Haven! The cabin was everything the listing said it would be, and we loved being a little bit out from crowded Gatlinburg town but still easy accessibility to everything… groceries, gas, golf, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the national park. Jim’s directions to get there when the GPS would have had us miss the turn were perfect, and he responded quickly when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

The place is nice and easy drive to downtown Gatlinburg. The place needs new sheets and blankets. While the sheets were clean, the pillows and blankets smelled. A good cabin for a family with pool, jacuzzi, and games.

We absolutely loved the cabin! The game tables upstairs were a huge hit! Tgw kids also loved staying in the loft. It is far enough outside of town to give you that in the woods secluded feel but still close enough that you are on the strip within 10 minutes! We loved everything about our stay and have already decided that this is where we will stay when we come back!

If you can call it a stay. If you don't have no expectations then this cabin is for you. But if you have an ounce of expectation then this cabin is easily passable with a swipe of your finger as your looking through cabins online. Don't be fooled by the blatant lies which is the description and the pictures. You will have no privacy here as you are ontop of two other cabins a couple that you can't see and if your looking for a view then it will be an eye soar of an old broken down trailer. If you like cobwebs, old busted rusted park style grill, weather stripping hanging off the window, a screaming rooster, and loud barking dogs and hooting and hollering next door neighbor guests, chairs on the deck instead of rocking chairs, a busted hot tob, and mattresses on the floor for no good reason then this cabin is for you. If you want peace and quiet, a decent relaxing cabin then look elsewhere. As this guy doesn't even care about his loose doornob and grossly outdated info and pictures. It took all of 5 minutes to realize that this was a mistake. This ruined the whole trip as we drove 5 hours to the cabin and turned around and drove 5 hours back home. This is an honest review as this guy gets undeserved 5 star ratings when people are clearly complaining in their reviews but give it a 5 star anyway. He will flat out disrespect you if you bring a concern to his attention. We would have been better off getting a hotel. Complete and total let down.

We had five people in the cabin. Myself, my husband, and three girls ages 18/20/21. They took the upstairs and we took the master downstairs. Plenty of room for us all. Was given detailed directions to the cabin which were so helpful. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning and drinking my coffee. We made brunch every day and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans. Wish we would have brought hand soap, dish soap, Kleenex, and some extra toilet paper and paper towels. But we were able to purchase at a nearby Dollar General. Rained a lot during our stay so we spent more time in the cabin than we would have otherwise. Liked having Netflix available and enjoyed the hot tub every night. Warning, buttons on the hot tub are getting worn out some and difficult to push however we made it happen. Also we were given some good recommendations for local restaurants. Really liked Three Jimmys. Overall totally enjoyed our stay. Would return.

My family absolutely loved this place, they called it the Tree House Haven. It was perfect, not to far away from downtown but not to close. Kids loved the game room, loft, and the hot tub.

The cabin was great! My wife and daughter and I visited the area for a club volleyball tournament at Rocky Mountain Sports World. The cabin is less than 5 minutes drive to the complex. It was so nice to be able to quickly go back to the cabin during breaks and escape the din of the gym. Wifi was fast and the pool table and other games were fun. The cabin is clean and comfortable for a small to medium group. It has the amenities you might need. It is situated on a hill in a very wooded 'neighborhood'. The best part for me was having coffee in the rocking chair on the porch. It felt like you were in a tree house, among the birds and squirrels peacefully in their own world. The cabin is about 15-20 minutes from Gatlinburg and there are plenty of restaurants in town and along the way. Booking, arrival, and access were all easy. The host is very helpful. He provided all the info we needed and more. Communication was quick and easy. We would certainly stay here again.
