Bear Lake Reserve:
Found in the Tuckasegee Valley in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains is Bear Lake Reserve, a master-planned 2,100 acre gated resort bordering Bear Creek Lake. This fee will be $30/day (with the maximum fee per stay being $150 or 5 days) and will be charged upon check in. This is our 4th year visiting Bear Lake and 2nd time staying in this home. The home was extremely comfortable and the view is fantastic.

Condo was great overall. Could stand to use some updating, especially the cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Very firm mattresses. But THE VIEW and proximity to the lake was what we came for and it did not disappoint. Lake Lodge: We’ve been to Bear Lake many times and always enjoyed the Lake Lodge. This time it seemed to be showing a lot of wear and tear. Garbage piled up, broken chairs and umbrella stands, and the staff were inexperienced. Food and drinks were sub par. Sad.
