About this house rental
Renovated in 2017, this delightful beach house is the perfect getaway for all. Nestled right off of Lake Shore Drive, this house is located at Stop 1 in beautiful Sheridan Beach! This ranch-style duplex unit features new hardwood floors throughout, renovated kitchen with quartz counters, and a dining area. Updated bathroom with tub and shower. First bedroom has 2 twin beds, second bedroom has 1 queen bed, both equipped with large closets. Living room includes one sleeper couch that accommodates 2. Washer and dryer in unit, as well as a large patio with gas grill for cook outs. Maximum of 3 cars allowed. Nearby attractions include Indiana Dunes Lakeshore with horseback riding, swimming, fishing, and picnicking. Nearby beach has volleyball court as well as a convenient public restroom. Lighthouse outlet mall nearby, as well as museums, Washington Park Zoo, outdoor water park, casinos, and numerous restaurants for families and special occasions. Early check-in / late check in is not available during the summer months (June-August). We understand everyone is excited to start vacation early, but we do need the entire day to clean and prep the home for your arrival! Thank you for understanding!

Location was great! We walked to the beach and the zoo. Place included a beach wagon, beach towels, umbrella, and sand toys! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking (low on coffee) and had a dishwasher. We appreciated a crib in the house and a step stool for the kids. It could've been cleaner though. The floors made our feet black. We ended up putting down a picnic blanket for the kids to play on. Overall good stay for a family of four.

The location of this property is great, it's literally right around the corner from the beach. There is a lot to do in the area. The bungalow is cozy and could use a little more updating but the kitchen, dining area and bathroom were very tastefully done.
The owners were very attentive to our needs and quickly resolved any issues or questions that we had.
Looking forward to visiting the area again!

Great location and size for our family of 5. Quick drive to the national park and into Michigan. Close to the Michigan City Beach, zoo, and parks. The included travel guide helped us pick some activities.

Just perfect for this trip! Super clean, easy to find, parking right out the front door and literally steps from the beach! Morning coffee out on the side deck, puzzles on a rainy afternoon, could not ask for more!

Property is close to Chicago, beach and Indiana Dunes National Park. House is just as described and worked well for our family of 6. Would stay there again! Wonderful time with family!

Nice location and easy to get to the national park(10min). The property management team responded quickly and was easy to communicate with.
It was cleaned enough, but you can tell it’s a little worn and is popular rental property that was cheaply refinished.
But it’s comfortable and have some nice additions like a crib, beach umbrella/chairs to borrow.
You can hear your neighbors on the other side if they are partying (not the greatest for a sleeping baby).

Close to the Dunes
Nice location and easy to get to the national park(10min). The property management team responded quickly and was easy to communicate with.
It was cleaned enough, but you can tell it’s a little worn and is popular rental property that was cheaply refinished.
But it’s comfortable and have some nice additions like a crib, beach umbrella/chairs to borrow.
You can hear your neighbors on the other side if they are partying (not the greatest for a sleeping baby).

Stayed for a weekend with four adult women for a shopping weekend along the lakeshore. Not at the house very long each day but everything we needed was there and functioning. The only suggestions I have are that you provide pillows for the pull out couch and a fitted sheet for that. Very clean and kitchen well stocked!

The Indiana Dunes National and State Parks are both short drives as well. If you need groceries or other supplies there is a Meijer close by to either go get them or have them dropped off. The checkout time is 10am which is a little early especially when you're asked to wash and dry all the towels but we managed. I would recommend this property for rental if for nothing else other than its location and room.

The rental is a nice space though with plenty of room and was great for my husband and one year old. The beach really was a five minute walk away and the small zoo just a couple extra minute walk. The Indiana Dunes National and State Parks are both short drives as well. If you need groceries or other supplies there is a Meijer close by to either go get them or have them dropped off. The checkout time is 10am which is a little early especially when you're asked to wash and dry all the towels but we managed. I would recommend this property for rental if for nothing else other than its location and room.

Be sure to pack extra toilet paper and any condiments needed but walmart isn't too far a drive if you forget anything. Will def keep this location in mind for my next trip.

The property was as advertised, plenty of space for a family of 4. Location for beach access/zoo/park was great but the beach and park were closed due to COVID. July vacation
The property was very nice and just what we needed for four adults and a baby. While the Zoo /Washington Park was closed that week, the property was centrally located to where you could visit other areas. I would highly recommend this property. The communication was excellent and timely.
