About this cottage rental
Amy's cottage is a cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage secluded on a fenced, redwood covered acre. The cottage is an original homestead home of Del Norte County, We furnished with antiques in keeping with it's history. It is located in a central county location, surrounded by farms and forest. It is 5 minutes from Kellogg Beach, 5 minutes from the Smith River and 10 minutes from Redwood National Park. A new hot tub which is located under the redwood tree canopy next to the campfire ring awaits your arrival!

The property was absolutely beautiful—truly a redwood oasis. Driving in through towering redwoods framing the driveway felt incredibly unique and set the tone right away.Inside, everything was immaculate and so homey. I especially loved the old farmhouse-style decor—it added so much charm and character.The hot tub was an amazing bonus and perfect after a long day exploring the trees.The hosts were wonderful—very attentive, responsive, and accommodating. They were available for any questions and even went out of their way to be flexible when we thought we might need to extend our stay.10/10—would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful redwood getaway.

Amy’s cottage is surrounded by large trees, ferns, and moss. The hot tub was immaculate and so relaxing and quiet. Loved building a fire and cooking burgers on the grill.

Driving in the driveway took our breath away. The morning photos we took from the front step of the cottage look as if we were on a trail in the Redwoods. Amy made sure we had everything we needed. On a practical note, we were delighted to find the washer and dryer ... I had overlooked that detail in reading about the property and it was super not to spend part of our vacation at the laundry mat! Excellent location for hiking at Jedediah Smith ... we enjoyed the Stout Grove trail 7 times during our stay.
