Nestled in Gatlinburg, this charming chalet for $656 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Lovely (2) level lodge with stone features and circular driveway for easily accommodating of 6-8 cars. On the main level you are greeted by a spacious Great Room just loaded with country charm, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and a huge stone wood-burning fireplace - the perfect setting for a mountain retreat. Front and back decks offer awesome mountain views, with hot tub for 8 on lower back deck, and a gas and charcoal grill with picnic table on main level back deck. Additional seating on front deck offers views of Mt. LeConte and tram leading up to Ober Gatlinburg. 4 Main level Bedrooms have King-size beds with Pillowtop mattresses and 680 thread-count cotton sheets. Queen size air mattress is also available. Lower level has extra-large bedroom, also with King-size bed, while other bedroom has 2 Queen size beds with Pillowtop mattresses. Tables and bar stools in Great Room/dining area will comfortably seat 20 people for the perfect gathering of family and friends. The downstairs game room has a full-size pool table, big screen TV and game systems.

Property was nice. The amenities met expectation.
Exhaust fans need to be clean since we're charged a cleaning fee.
Asking that the dishes be washed and put away is unusual. Putting dishes away by the cleaning crew should be included in the cleaning fee. With all that said, I would stay again.

House was very clean and spacious. We took our family on a Thanksgiving Mountain vacation as a Christmas present and the house did not disappoint. Each couple had their own room and the grandchildren shared the two rooms downstairs. The six bathrooms were a life saver getting us all ready and out the door in a timely manner and we never ran out of hot water! The kitchen is well stocked and the den is roomy and comfortable. The drive up to the house was scary for people from the “Lowcountry” of SC but it got a little easier the more we drove it. The driveway was also tricky but if you turn in the drive to the left to enter it’s a little less scary. I would highly recommend this house for a large group. We even saw a black bear up close in the driveway. The only thing that would make this house better is to put a couch downstairs in the game room. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with my family. Truly a vacation to remember!!

We just spent the weekend in Gatlinburg in this Ski View cabin and we loved it. Our party included 11adults-4 couples and 3 singles. Every one had there own room and bathroom which was perfect. The open living space was perfect for our large group and the table sat all 11 of us for dinner. The driveway is steep and can at first seem overwhelming but it circles the house which is so convenient. We truly loved this cabin. Well equipped with everything you need for the kitchen. The appliances were new and worked flawlessly. Plenty of dishes/pots/pans-it really did have it all. Lots of fun and relaxation was had. Highly recommend the cabin and the owner. This is a perfect house for a large group. We will definitely be back. Go and enjoy!

This property is beautiful. It was perfect for our large family. The table in the common area was large enough for all to sit around to eat, laugh and play games. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pans and utensils for cooking. There were 4 coffee makers, a crock pot, blender and toaster. The refrigerator/freezer was large and provided plenty of ice. The stove and oven were large enough to cook for our dozen adults. The bedrooms were all en-suite so each couple had their own bathroom. Lots of privacy and lots of public areas as well. The chalet was clean and modern. The wood burning fireplace was beautiful and plenty of wood was provided. The host answered any and all questions. We can’t say enough good things about this home and the area!

Nice property! It's at the top of the mountain & beautiful. Plenty of parking. Well stocked with crock pot, griddle, coffee pot, pots, pans, plates, cups, bowls, serving pieces including utensils. It worked very well for our family. Quiet, safe, easy to come & go as we pleased. Loved using the association pool & club house (on the last day of the season). Would have LOVED more than one face wash cloth per person per night! We had a 4 night stay. Also more than one dish rag. It would have been helpful to have a can opener that worked better. Other than those easily fixable items, it was a perfect stay! We give it a very high recommendation!

The property is as beautiful as the pictures and in good order. It is well maintained and served our group comfortably ages 9-77. The beds were comfortable. We cooked for our group, found utensils, pots and pans to suit our needs. The parking is good for several vehicles and know the driveway is steep. Overall we all were pleased. We did have bear sightings daily that was very interesting to us. With that be sure to lock the car doors.

We were a group of 10 and we all enjoyed our stay. The chalet was very lovely, spacious and functional. It was great to have a dining table large enough for ten and ensuite bathrooms for all the bedrooms. Our cooks give a big approval for the kitchen. Greg was very responsive to questions and notified us before we arrived that there was a leak in the kitchen sink and had it fixed the next morning. The house is nicely located to access the Gatlinburg bypass making trips to the park easier. However, the road to the house is long, windy and hilly with minimum shoulders if any with drop offs on some sides. That discouraged driving in the dark. Some of the wooden surfaces were tacky. A suggestion would be to have a small sitting area in the game room. We all had a wonderful time.

The accommodation of the cabin was perfect for our family. Enjoy seeing the bears that passed by. The beds mattress could be a little softer other than that no complaints. We would rent that cabin again if we came back to the area.

My family was together to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary We loved this comfortable chalet. The decor was low key. There were games for the children. Many games of checkers between Papa and the grandkids! It is kind of between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. We cooked 4 meals there. One thing we couldn’t find was a lighter. The host was very accommodating!

This was an awesome place. Everything was clean and well supplied. We had our fair share of bear sightings at the house as well. The incline to the house is a little crazy but if you’re careful you shouldn’t have problems.

So close to Gatlinburg, but quiet enough to enjoy coffee on the deck in the evenings.
It was perfect for our large family (15 people).
Greg was responsive with any questions I had throughout the process.

This home has spacious rooms with the open kitchen living room concept lets everybody hang out. The down stairs game room allowed us to have many drinks and be kinda loud with our music and voices. Ample parking. Had a blast !

We had 6 couples and it was perfect for us. Every rom has a bathroom, woodburning fireplace with wood provided. Hot tub was nice, my only suggestion would be to tell the cleaners not to use bleach on the hot tub our trunks all got bleached out. But overall a great experience, thanks!

Our group of 12 adults had a wonderful time staying at the chalet in Gatlinburg. It was especially nice having 6 en-suite bathrooms to go with the 6 bedrooms. We spent a lot of time out on the decks and did get to see a mother black bear and her cubs just down the driveway! There was a problem with the hot tub when we arrived and it took the owner several days to get someone out to fix it properly. But once it was fixed, we really enjoyed it after a day of hiking in the National Park. And the pool and foosball tables got a workout during our stay as well. One disappointment was the lack of paper products to sustain us during our stay. We had to buy trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. These are basics that have been provided for our use at other VRBO's we have stayed at. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond when needed. I would highly recommend this location as long as you can handle the steep winding roads to get to it!

We spent 4 nights at this rental. Everything was as shown in the pictures. There were 13 of us, ranging from 2 month old to 67. We had plenty of room to spend time together! Highly recommend .. Great location to travel to both pigeon forge and gatlinburg. My first time traveling Mountain Roads, but after my first trip up, it was great! 😀. Added bonus of seeing two small bears and a momma bear, one of them every day. We will visit this location again!

This was a great place for our first extended family vacay in several years. Ages 10-69. Plenty of space and parking. Lots of hot water for 10+ people. Outdoor seating nice in both front and back. Privacy but close to town. We had a visitor daily. So be cautious. Seems our bear friend knew when it was meal time. He did approach the deck in front. Would recommend something at the bottom of the back stairs for warning. With the door being at the top of stairs and all seating past door was a little apprehensive of being back there. Although it was great to experience at the same time!!!!! Highly recommend.

Our 3 generational party of 8 all agreed that this chalet was our best rental yet! Loved the big dining table for meals and evening games. We never turned on any of the many TVs as we were having too much fun playing pool & foosball, and relaxing in the hot tub. Communication with the owner was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, pots & pans, utensils, glassware, and appliances. Bring your own salt & pepper and spices for cooking. Having a bathroom w/ each bedroom was great! TP & hand soap were provided, bring your own shampoo, etc. We enjoyed both porches/decks---coffee in AM, cocktails in PM. We did have a few black bear sightings. One bear even dared to wander around the deck while we were inside the chalet. Stay away and they go away.

Bear Country
Our family of nine really enjoyed staying at this chalet. Everyday we had several bears/ cubs visit the property. We choose not to use the hot tub off of the driveway because of this. Heed the warnings of locking vehicles and not having food in your vehicle! Sharp, steep, curvy 2 mile car ride from the bottom of the mountain to the chalet. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have so many activities. I would recommend buying tickets online before your trip as we were unable to do a few things as tickets had been sold out weeks before our trip. July and October are the busiest months in Gatlinburg. Most restaurants had a 30-45 minute wait anytime of the day. Titanic Museum, Goats on the Roof, and Forbidden Caves are a must! Hiking in the Smokey Mountains was a favorite activity for us!
