Located in Hackberry, this charming house for $150 per night is a great option for your next break. Very comfortable 3 bedroom/1 bathroom camp located on a private canal just minutes from famous Big Lake in Hackberry, LA. Sleeps 5 people, and has 960 square feet of living space. Crown molding, durable vinyl wood flooring and new appliances throughout. The property has 3 TV's , all with extended basic cable service. All linens and utensils are provided. Washer/dryer, Central AC/heat are additional indoor amenities. Outdoor comforts include a covered porch , a back patio with furniture and a custom BBQ pit. Finally there is adequate room to park your boat on the property or you can secure your boat to our dock in the private canal out back. Maximum of 5 persons to occupy property.

It was a nice little place very comfortable. I would had given it a 5 star for cleanliness but we found dog mess an a spit bottle under one of the beds.other than it was the perfect lil get away spot

Shame on expedia for listing a property that was so horrible. It smelled like a trash can, breeding ground for bacteria and filthy carpets. The light in the bathroom flickered, we managed to find a bulb to fix it. The stairs leading up to the front door where broken and unsafe. There was old food in the refrigerator and freezer. The linens where old and tattered. There was a dog caged in the back of the property with no food and dirty water. There was so much dog poop it spilled out onto the deck. After I complained to the owner he had the dog removed but didn't cleanup the deck. The deadbolt lock on the front door did not lock . The back door did not close properly. Expedia can not be trusted to refer properties.

Went for a birthday trip with my parents. The place was wonderfully located to areas of crabbing and fishing. Mr. Joe was very responsive with any questions and communication overall was great. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and have an enjoyable stay!

Location wasn't too far from any of the local bait shops or fishing locations. The backbyard has a patio and a walk on deck. Very nice and was a perfect getaway

It is very nice but it's small, but it was just what we needed. Very nice quiet area very close to crabbing spot.

This was a great clean place to stay and had everything that was expected and needed for our group of 4 for our bowfishing trip. Very roomy and convenient proximity to a boat ramp. Owner very responsive to questions before trip and during trip.

We enjoyed our stay! Simple, very affordable. I loved having the washer&dryer. Kids loved having TV in each bedroom to space out. We got to see an alligator in the canal at the back of the house. Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved the place ! Who could ask for more ... we celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here . The place was so clean ( and I’m a house keeper as well so I know clean ) So much there .. I didn’t have to bring much ... and great fishing and crabbing right in the back yard .. we had all we wanted right there . We will be back
