Nestled in Playa Del Rey, this lovely house for $475 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. WHO WANTS TO DRIVE OR WAIT IN TRAFFIC AFTER THEY LAND AT LAX???? YOU DONT HAVE TOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! :) WE ARE A 10 Min drive only 1.5 miles away.......Oasis in the City is a BoHo chic, eclectic PRIVATE HOME with POOL & SPA , New Central Air throughout . This charming custom house is in PRIME LOCATION!! PRIVATE HOME ( this is NOT a condo) in the middle of LA's hottest BEACH areas including Silicon Beach. Our home is Centrally located and surrounded by some of the best restaurants and bars in Los Angeles. This rare Gem is literally a bike ride from the sand (1 mile) and a short distance to The Famous Venice Beach (2 mile bike ride) , Playa Vista, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier, Lego Land, Staples Center and many other famous Southern California attractions. 3+3 4 beds Sleeps 6-8 comfortably . Pool can be heated in the winter upon request for a small daily charge and private jacuzzi (no charge) that's a touch of a button away!!!! It's a comfy home that oozes tranquility and relaxation in the BIG CITY BIG BEACH LIFE. Due to Covid19 we thouroughly clean as always but we will now sanitize all surfaces after every check out. Spa heat is included in pricing. Pool can be heated for an additional charge ask host about cost.

Property was great overall. Some of the lights throughout the house and outside didn’t work well, was pretty dark trying to enter the home after 5 pm. Kitchen was great and fire place made for a very cozy Christmas.

Close to LAX airport and beaches but far from main attractions. Communication with host was great! Quick response to our questions. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all ! Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked and included the basics.

My kids enjoyed the little water fountain. The pool guy added chemicals to the pool so we couldn't swim one of the days of our stay. Other than that, it was nice.

Beautiful roomy home/ pool and spa.
In a very safe neighborhood. Kitchen was great, did have to buy some kitchen supplies other than our food during our stay, ie foil, some spices, coffee, plastic wrap or ziplock bags to store leftovers (no bowls/containers with lids)
We weren't able to have full access to the home until 4:45pm the day of check in / even tho' check in was at 4pm; house cleaners were still there, so we waited by the pool.
Also, we were never able to get the outside lights around the pool to turn on/ they were supposed to be on a timer. We contacted the host several times re: the lights. We did eventually figure out the lights near the spa, which was good, as we used it every night!.

The property is eclectic but very nice and worked well for our family visit to LA. Convenient to LAX and to Playa del Rey. Nice restaurants on Lincoln BVLD for takeout - make sure you try Thai Talay. Since we have family in LA, we know the city and the difficulties of getting from place to place. The location here is excellent of access the west side of the city without dealing with the 405. Mostly though, we had a problem with the HVAC system during the stay. The owner’s husband made a long trip to fix the issue way faster than we would have expected. He went out of his way (about 6 hours!) to help us. For that, we are most appreciative. I think it says a lot about how this listing is handled by the owners - I would recommend this property to families looking for a relaxing visit to Southern California.

We stayed at the house with our 2 kids (16 & 12), along with our dog. It's perfect for families. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. We walked to and from the beach and the neighborhood was nice.

Nice place, good neighborhood, comfortable stay. The pool and spa were nice to relax. Right close to LAX which was handy. The master bedroom was beautiful and the master bathroom was one of the coolest bathrooms I've been in. Deep tub, shower with multiple sprays. Very nice. The other rooms were comfortable, though sparse.
The kitchen was quite workable, though wine glasses would have been nice.

This house was great for our family vacation. We liked the quiet neighbourhood which was close to LAX and grocery stores nearby. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and bbq.

This property is in a great location and is in a quiet neighborhood. Tanya was great to deal with! The kuerig coffee machine broke and she had one delivered to the front door the next morning before the wife’s woke up so everyone was safe! There was no dishwasher but she had some issues with the delivery of the new one witch happens in the real world and the intention was there and out of anyone’s control but wasn’t a huge deal. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

This was a lovely house. You can tell they are working on updating areas in the house. The kitchen is missing dishwasher right now. Countertop by sink and a cabinet had some duck tape. I bet it will look great when done. The pool was not heated, but wouldn't go in anyways, to cold during stay. The hot tub was perfect, we do think there could be a leak, we had to add water every day, not a big deal, but shouldn't need to do that. We would definitely stay there again. Easy all the way around.

Stayed with my two daughters and one granddaughter. House was good size for 3bed and 3 bath. The weather was cold and wet which was bad swimming although the hot tub worked out well. Kitchen had a problem with a broken dishwasher but otherwise worked well. Neighborhood was very nice.

Our group of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids was really comfortable in the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom accommodations and benefitted from having common areas and a kitchen. We visited LA during a very cold spell and the small bedrooms were hard to keep warm with doors closed (for privacy and noise control at night). But Tanya brought over extra blankets for us!

We were very pleased when we arrived to this property. It was very easy to find and enter. There were 7 adults in our party and plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need including spices and oils. The beds were very comfortable and 3 bathrooms - so lots of room.
We didn't use the pool, but we used the hot tub nightly.
It was very close to everything, airport, grocery stores and restaurants.
Tanya was very quick to reply to any questions. We felt very safe in the house and the area was very nice.
We would definitely go back!!

This is a very comfortable home in a great location. Very convenient to LAX and close to multiple grocery stores. The house was very clean and well appointed. Decor is eclectic and fun. Only reason that I did not give the property a five star review is that the pool and hot tub were not accessible due to mechanical issues. Coming from Ohio, we were looking forward to one last swim in 2022. The host did allow us early access to the house and there was good communication. I would stay here again as the location and the value this house provides outweighs the broken pool and spa equipment.

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable beds. My favorite for surgery recovery was the sofa in front of the bed in master. Depending on the time of day, the drive was between 25 min and an hour to hospital. The green paint from the photos has been painted white. Big improvement!

We recently returned from a trip to LA where we needed a place to land in the evenings as our family who live close by just didn’t have the space to sleep 5 of us. As a Midwesterner it is sort of hard to swallow the costs associated with living in LA but this one seemed appropriately priced considering other local options and it was nice that there were 3 separate bedrooms so we could all have a private space to sleep as we are well beyond the age of enjoying crashing on friend’s couches. :-)
When I was searching for a place for us to stay, I thought it would be nice to have a pool or spa to wind down in after a day of hanging with 20 family members across town, so that was definitely a big reason as to why we originally rented this particular place. Unfortunately, the spa never did warm up and a maintenance person never showed up to repair it during our stay. We appreciated that the host DID compensate us for not being able to use it and having it not work was disappointing but certainly wasn’t the end of the world in the grand scheme of things.
Overall, the house served our needs for a peaceful landing spot away from the craziness of the rest of the family. The beds were very comfortable—one being a king (YES!! A perk to those of us who are used to that), there were 2 private bathrooms & one more centrally located in case one didn’t want to share the ones by the bedrooms, and the kitchen was nice to have available to make our breakfasts before heading out for the day. The location is awesome considering the proximity to the airport and beaches and the neighborhood felt very safe-- almost like being in a suburb – not the heart of the city.
We made wonderful memories on this trip to Los Angeles and our quiet evenings back at this home were a big part of those memories!

First off, I was glad it was too cold to swim cause the pool was gross, green and full of debris. Spa wouldn't turn on either. Then the dryer stopped working. I will say the beds were comfortable and the location was nice, but we wouldn't return to this one again.

There is some plane noise which didn’t bother us but obviously being so close to LAX can’t be avoided. Overall the property worked great for our family vacation and we were happy with our choice.

Great location
This property was in a perfect location for the things/attractions we wanted to do and had scheduled. Pretty much anything you needed was a very short drive away. Contacting Tanya was easy, she answered fairly quickly to any question. I feel photos should be updated as some of these are old, but that really isn’t a concern. Only real issue we had during our stay was that the pool(which was one main reason we rented this house) had not been maintained. I will say after reaching out to Tanya, she literally did everything she could to get someone out to clean it, which did happen but it took time. My only other downside was being told I brought a dog inside, which I did not, I don’t even own a dog. I was told to disregard the invoice for it, so hopefully that gets removed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, property was nice and close to attractions.

Great Time!
Our family of 4 really enjoyed our experience! Everything was clean and in working order. Location was close to the airport and within a 20 minute ride down Lincoln to Santa Monica. Will definitely consider again if/when we travel to the area.

Clean comfy and nicely located
House was clean all around, beds were comfy, the pool was wonderful! Surprisingly the airport is not as noisy as we anticipated it to be so that was great too. The whole neighborhood seems like a really nice one. It was ideally located for visiting family and the Santa Monica pier and beach then hopping onto the plane.
