This apartment provides our guests to stay in a context of value, architectural styles that mix together to create a unique environment, able to enliven the mind.
The apartment consists of two double bedrooms, rented together decorated with design elements and of high quality. TV, wi fi area, ipad are just a few of our services. In the two rooms you will find everything you need for your stay, and bed linen to towels. There are two completely independent bathrooms with a large shower and hairdryer. Sitting room with wood burning stove, kitchen equipped and private outdoor square are the top elements that characterize this apartment. Breakfast is served on request.
Possibility to have dinner by reservation, typical of Val d’Orcia prepared in accordance with local traditions.

If you're contemplating staying here, definitely book this VRBO! The apartment was exactly as described/photographed. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bath towels oversized, and the breakfast was amazing! (Really, best breakfast ever.) Francesco is a gracious host (10/10!) and we would definitely reserve this apartment again. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed three weeks!The little town of Monticchiello where this VRBO is located is just beautiful. It's easily walkable with little cobblestone piazzas and narrow lanes lined with potted flowers and greenery. We encountered a few of the local cats, who all seem to be cared for by the community. While there, we dined at Angolo di Mezzo (try the buffalo mozzarella and tomato sandwich – with or without anchovies – just heavenly), Osteria La Porta (charming with delicious food that arrives in the dining room via small lift), Ristorante Daria (elegant and creative, deserving of their Michelin star), Deb's Lounge (we stopped here twice: once for wine and snacks in the afternoon and once for an extraordinary dinner), and La Guardiola Wine & Food (a great spot for an afternoon Negroni with an amazing view). We also stopped into two local shops: a fabric store with exquisite table linens and a clothing boutique. Monticchiello is a small town but we found plenty to enjoy while staying there.

The apartment was charming, impeccably clean and well stocked with the essentials. The breakfasts that Francesco prepared were amazing. This was definitely a dream place to stay in the wonderful village of Monticchiello. I highly recomment.

This was a great place to stop and spend a few days. The apartment is very comfortable and Francesco was really helpful with itineraries for what to see and where to go. Monticchiello is a beautiful little town and it seems like those that live there are proud of their town and happy to share it with visitors. We loved the apartment, the town and the countryside Francesco is also an artist and has some terrific Tuscan landscape works for sale at this gallery/workshop.
