The Guest House has two lodgings. The older charming guest house is bamboo and rattan, with a modern de luxe addition, only a month old, and a restaurant named Enchanting Majuli with an extensive menu for breakfast and all meals, which can be served to your room. The location is in a quiet and peaceful leafy lane, a short walk away from the village of Garamur with local shops and restaurants. The owner, Monjit, was helpful and attentive, organising visits to Satras, a mask workshop, and a pottery making village. And they now have wifi.

1) The owner is always smiling and happy to help the guests. We reached their about 2 Hr before our Check In time, but he still accommodated us nicely.
2) He easily arranges bicycles or two-wheelers for the guests. We loved the bicycle tour that he guided on the first day of our trip.
3) He has drawn maps of the local interesting places and helps the guests by telling their significance.
4) The in-house restaurant is definitely welcome.
5) After Check Out they even dropped us at the taxi stand which was a nice gesture.
Nothing to complain at all.

Risong Family Guest House was a wonderful place to stay. The owner and staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The surrounding area has fascinating local villages that were perfect to explore by bike, offering us a taste of the friendliest culture. There is an abundance of birdlife and wildlife, which added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere. The food was very good.
