We had a fantastic stay at the house over a long weekend. The backyard is enormous and entirely fenced in (perfect for our dog!). We really enjoyed the river access as well. It is very secluded and we didn't run into anyone else when we were there. I would highly recommend for anyone searching for a relaxing, remote escape among the redwoods.

We had a great stay in this charming, private, well located house with a beautiful, peaceful yard and river access. The location is ideal to explore Humboldt Redwood State Park to the south, Ferndale, and the redwood parks to the north.

The location is was ideal for our family. 1 hour south and 1 hour north and we're in the redwoods. Backyard nice and private. Fire pit and wood ready for smores. House was clean and kitchen well stocked. Parking behind gate was nice and private. If you want a luxury vacation rental this is not it. This is a great place to spend the night, do some laundry and recharge for the next days adventures. This place is worth your consideration

We loved this rental. It is just as described and very tranquil setting. The fencing was dynamite with little folks keeping them safe. The kitchen was on the" small side but served our family well. No dishwasher was perfect for enlisting the "teens" into chore duty! The washer a dryer was great and used daily with our bunch of beach hounds! One of our favorite rentals. The downside was small but the coffee maker could be larger and more cups at one time, pp

Our stay was absolutely amazing and the home could not be more accommodating. It suit every single need our family had and was extremely welcoming for our dog. Everything from the beds to the kitchen, to the restrooms, to the yard were just PERFECT. The only thing that would've been nice would be for the path to the river outside the back gate; a clearer path for an easier walk to the river would've been great. Other than that, I would definitely recommend and would love to stay at this home again!
