About this cabin rental

Sightseeing and activities are easy from the cabin. From the moment you turn onto the private road leading to The Cabin, through the grass scattered with Ponderosa Pines and the forest of Lodgepole and Tamaracks, you will feel the peace and tranquility you are about to experience during your stay. The Cabin is situated just a little up from the shore of Lake Blaine in a natural setting of trees. It is one 'Great Room': A sitting area with a couch and chairs; a DVD player for watching movies and a radio/CD player; a bedroom area with queen size bed, four pillows, wall-mounted reading lamps and bedside tables; a fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs; and, of course, a private bathroom complete with towels, shampoo and shower gels; and, a deck with table and chairs and lounge chairs for your relaxation. Sun bathe on the dock or lakeshore.

Swim, snorkel, or walk the trails through the woods on this 13 acre property where deer, fox, wild turkeys, eagles and owls are often seen. You may want to just 'kick-back at The Cabin or use it as a base for your Montana vacation. Glacier Park is only a 30 minute drive from The Cabin; 20 minutes to the quaint town of Bigfork; about 40 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Resort; and Kalispell, a mere 15 minutes away; and, only a 5 minute drive from The Cabin is a a service station with a restaurant, bar and deli for coffee, great sandwiches and ice cream; and, a 9-hole golf course with a restaurant. The Cabin is closed up for the winter, but available for your vacation rental from the middle of May thru the middle of September.

Loved being by the lake!

The cabin on Lake Blaine was just what we needed for our anniversary vacation!! We used it as a base camp and explored Glacier National Park and other surrounding towns. The cabin was exactly as described and the host was more than hospitable! The cabin was well stocked and even had some important items that we didn't realize we needed for our day trips. We were able to relax down by the lake in the evenings and even took a few days just to hang by the water.Beautiful stay!!

The cabin is lovely. We loved our lake and Mountain View from our cabin and enjoyed the quiet and calmness the place had to offer. Sue is a wonderful hostess and very kind. She made our MT trip a 10/10!

The cabin was perfect for us. Very clean and well stocked with all the little things we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. Sue, (the owner of the cabin) even left us ice cream and fresh Huckleberries to put over the ice cream. Not to mention the homemade Huckleberry jam she put in the fridge. It was a real treat in the evenings. So relaxing to set in front of the windows and just look out over the lake. As far as things to do..........there were a million things to do and see. We saw deer and fawn each morning that would come down to the lake. Glacier was beautiful. The towns of Bigfork and Whitefish were great. We even went to the Northwestern Montana Fair and Rodeo in Kalispell. I wished we could have stayed and few more days. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay this cabin is it. Thank you Sue. Kathy & JimSouth Carolina
