The property was not long ago renovated. Small, inviting bars and restaurants are nearby. The very beautiful, from César Manrique designed village Pueblo Marinero is just two minutes from your entrance door. You will be sitting under the biggest gum tree the island has, listening to Canarian folk music and eating typical tapas. There is also a nice market twice a week there. If you are also looking for some night life you will reach the 'in-bars' within only five minutes walking distance. . Just nearby you will find the Meson 'El Portón'. A very typical, Spanish Tapas-Bar with very reasonable prices and rustic, unsophisticated atmosphere. After one or the other copa vino tinto (glass of red wine) you will appreciate to be back in your apartment just after a two minutes walk. You really should not miss it. On Friday evenings between 5:00 and 9:00 pm there is a nice, though little market in the Pueblo Marinero. Things offered there are similar to those at the big market on Sundays in Teguise but it is much more quiet, easier to grasp and not at all as pushy and obtrusively. ... Just take a seat in one of the nice bars and watch the bustle. Costa Teguise is an ideal starting point for island discovering tours, a good place of being for Surfers and Divers, much more quiet than e.g. Puerto del Carmen. You will find a very cultivated crowd here. Still there is a good night-life. Very good original Spanish bars with international audience as well as any kind of disco-pub and live music.
