Settle down for a great vacation in this classic home located directly on the beach on the South end of Pawley's Island. This four bedroom two bathroom features a full kitchen and dining area, living room with cable TV and wireless internet. Enjoy many views of the ocean while sitting on the seaside deck or enclosed porch. Or shift to the creekside deck for great sunsets. Bedding size is two queens and four singles, original hardwood flooring throughout, master bedroom opening to the deck, outdoor shower with hot and cold water, old brick fireplace, and an elevator for guest use. Sunday to Sunday weekly rentals ONLY between Memorial Day and Labor Day. THREE NIGHT MINIMUM IN THE OFF SEASON No creek dock. No pets. No Smoking.

This house is in a great location. But the house needs work. First there was a lot of water coming in from the roof during a rainstorm. Turns out a lot of tiles were missing from the roof. Secondly the master bathroom needs a lot of work - the wallpaper is peeling and the shower rod is rusty. The couch in the living room is rattan and not very comfortable. The house is quite so an ious and has a nice sunroom.

It was a great vacation enjoyed everything. The roof leaked during heavy rain which was almost every day. There were multiple leaks, 4 that we counted 3 in the living room and one in the kitchen. Gave me concern that there maybe a mold problem.

Disappointing. Needs a new roof, badly. Spent too much time putting out pots to catch water leaking in, then making sure the kids didn’t trip over them when playing inside. Would not stay again and think we should get some monetary compensation

Loved our stay at the Dingy. Grew up going to this house when it was owned by my Aunt. Only complaint is that I have yet to receive a breakdown for the charges for my stay despite asking twice. My rate was $300/night and given my payment of over $2,000 that equates to $800 in surcharges. Would like to know what those charges are before staying again or recommending it to a friend. Had a wonderful time - first time at the little house. we usually stay at another house. great location can beat the view of the beach, screened in back was nice, house had some problems though. Kitchen sink was leaking and roof - we were mopping up water. quaint little house. just needs a good cleaning. I left a necklace behind, i believe it fell on the bathroom floor; called the office they said they would check on it and no one ever got back to me. that was disappointing. otherwise overall a good family time.

Loved the house - the location, the porch and living area. House needs a good, DEEP cleaning. Kitchen, under beds, bathrooms, etc. Bedrooms would be warm in the winter but worked fine for us.

We had a good time but we had problems with the ceiling leaking in the living room in 2 places the cabinet over the sink in the kitchen leaked and we had fleas in one of the bedrooms and some roaches not palmetto bugs in the bathroom and living room.

Enjoyed our stay here. Couldn't have asked for a closer place on the beach. It was great!My only complaint is when we got there it was extremely hot in the house. It was set at 76 and said "keep at 76". That is way to hot to keep a house when its in the 90's. It did cool off once we lowered the temp but there was no way we could keep it at 76 and be happy and comfortable. The rooms don't seem to have good airflow and were stuffy. They have fans in the bedrooms so we used those. The place could use an updated AC unit. Thankfully the place eventually cooled off in all and we stopped sweating. The house itself was great and the locations is the selling point to this house. I would stay again. Staff was really nice when checking in!

The house has vintage character along with current comforts of well lit sparkling clean rooms and bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, showers with wonderful water pressure (both indoors and out), and the convenience of an elevator.
The location close to the southern inlet provided much to do, explore, and see on foot: bird and sea life watching, shell collecting, and watching fishermen. Bonus: Sunrise viewing on the Carolina Porch and sunset viewing on the creekside deck.
The owners have carefully maintained their home and Tidelife is always available to make your stay comfortable and convenient in every way.

The Dinghy was rustic but I like rustic. I would recommend updating the bathrooms. The creek side entrance door needed some maintenance, it would not unlock with the key. It rained hard on our 1st day and their were leaks in the livingroom ceiling. My husband would have loved a dock dedicated to the Dinghy to fish from, all the other homes on the street had a dock. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the Dinghy and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on the quieter end of Pawley's Island.

The location is perfect with beach out the front door and creek in the back. You can experience sun rise over the ocean and sun set at the creek. The furnishings are tired but the house has "good bones" and feels good the moment you walk through the door. My one critism is that the living room furniture needs help. The couch is very uncomfortable and one of the chairs broke during my stay. The management team is an absolute joy to work with.
