Located about 5 min drive from the sand dunes, surrounded by the Soltaro range of mountains. Very scenic and serene spot. Our room was at the ground floor, next to a flowing stream. The room was spacious; decor was done very tastefully. Comfortable beds. Staff were helpful and courteous.
We loved everything. Addition of some more Ladakhi food items in the restaurant menu would be great!

The property is beautiful! The staff were very attentive and ensured we were at ease and informed us about the property. They had a lovely evening culture program and high tea. Breakfast was decent too
Our ground floor room was very noisy, we got alot of noise from upstairs rooms and we could clearly hear the conversations of people walking past our rooms which disturbed my sleep

Architecture, interiors and how it blends with nature. Both Stanzin Tsephal & Wing Cmdr Aayon took extra effort to connect with their guests. Their sole objective was to make us comfortable and get feedback to even better their service. The thinking process of how they want to build this and many other properties in Nubra is truly inspiring. I would strongly recommend everyone to experience the stay here. The food is very mindfully prepared and feels like home food. I am coming back for sure. Thank you everyone at Stonehedge who made our trip memorable and you all are surely a highlight of the visit

The views from the room and the garden area.
It’s looking very tired and run down. They also seem to focus on having hotel ‘stuff’ rather than good service and clean and refreshed carpets and fit and finish to the rooms. There is also no elevator and the restaurant is on the top floor and many of the rooms are up other floors. The communication post booking was also not good. It stated that there was no electricity at night but there was and this was only communicated post booking.
