Santorini has 4 bedrooms, 2 with ensuites, all very large rooms, 3 bathrooms (2 bedrooms are ensuited) and an open plan living/dining/kitchen on the upper level. A games room, office and external undercover area on the ground floor mean that you and your extended family can come on holiday and together and not be tripping over each other. There is a stunning feature glass window running along the glass stairway (adult supervision of children is required). A huge verandah with timber louvers on all sides to create cross flow breezes to keep you cool all year round. The pool has a surrounding timber deck perfect for sunbathing and reading, and the upstairs verandah has an under roof sitting area for supervising the bigger kids in the pool. Santorini offers the perfect tropical getaway to relax while still being able to enjoy all the restaurants and facilities of the local area. The best places to explore from Palm Cove: One of Australia's biggest drawcards, the Great Barrier Reef traverses a whopping 2,300 kilometres and can be seen from outer space. The colourful marine life and reef system can be explored either by boat or up in the air, but our advice is to gear up and dive in with one of the many operators in and around Palm Cove. Quicksilver Group offer a variety of tours that will take you snorkelling, diving or for a cruise amongst the islands. There is no better way to explore this region than by water. Join a tour or go-it-alone, it is a water wonderland that is just begging to be explored. There is a tonne of options to choose from, but local operators, Palm Cove Water Sports, have several tours to pick from, such as their kayaking and turtle tours, sunrise tour, and kayaking and snorkel tours. You can also hire a kayak (singles or doubles) or paddleboards. Two-hours north of Palm Cove is the Daintree Rainforest, and it makes for an incredible day-trip. There is so much to do, from Saltwater Crocodiles spotting along Daintree River to hiking the tropical lowland rainforest. Daintree also has Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in abundance and Cape Tribulation is where the rainforest meets the reef. A picture-perfect sight that you will never want to pull yourself away from. Jump on a tour and soak up natures finest.

Location walking distance to local.tavern and esplanade. House suited for large group. Had some minor maintenance issues that were dealt with in a timely manner even considering the area had just been through cyclone jasper. House is old and definitely needs some tlc but for its age it served its purpose. Could definitely suggest a second fridge even downstairs for beverages. We went through a lot of ice, and some days couldnt get any local.due to being sold out, but it was over the xmas period too, so much busier than normal.

The house is really big and in a great spot but it’s clear that the owners don’t want to put any money in to the place. We reported the dishwasher being broken within a day or two of arriving but it was never fixed during our two week stay. Given the size of our group, that meant a LOT of hand washing dishes. The washing machine also broke while we were there, but this was thankfully replaced. The stairs are truly terrifying for anyone with small children - I’m certain they wouldn’t pass a current building safety check. That being said, the property managers were easy to reach and responsive (apart from not having the dishwasher replaced - but I suspect this was reluctance on the owners part). The location of the house is great, and the pool is lovely. We wouldn’t stay here again though, and if you don’t require all the space that this house offers, you can probably find something nicer.

Was exactly as described in the listing. Decor and fixtures were very harsh on the eyes but were tolerated when looking at the size of the house and beauty of the pool. After I repaired the dishwasher we found washing up after meals much easier. The wiring of the house seemed to be having problems as the double power sockets could only use one socket at a time. And the fan outside the living room was so slow there was no point having it on. Mystery flooding in the downstairs bathroom cost us many towels mopping it up.

This property is exactly as it is advertised. Nothing more, nothing less. Enjoyed our 7 days stay here. The pool is well kept and maintained. Facilities in the house are adequate. I had no trouble finding the keys at the agent's letter box and checking in since we arrived late. it was well communicated and coordinated. A minor problem with the cooktop during our stay was also promptly fixed. If I am asked for recommendations for improvement, I would list it as: a. An aircon in the upper living area. b. An Exhaust for cooktop area c. a fitted child gate at the bottom of stairs.
