We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect, from location (beautiful view), process (super easy), house (pictures don’t do it justice!) and communication, Sheila is a wonderful, easy to talk to and gracious host. Don’t scroll past this gem!!

The River Chateau was very clean, great view of the Mississippi and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. We parked our cars in the driveway and didn't need them until we left LeClaire.

we had a girls trip to celebrate that one from our group recently retired from work. the house was wonderful and had plenty of room for all of us. the location was perfect. we only had a short walk to everything in town. and the fire pit was the best way to sit and enjoy the view!

This lovely spot was just as pictured but better. Exceptionally clean, nice towels, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with spices even. Comfortable couch with a great view. The patio overlooking the river is perfect for sunrises or evenings with a glass of wine. Do check out the winery, just a short 2 block walk. The decor is really well done and very inviting. A favorite VRBO for sure! Can't say enough good, there wasnt a single negative!

Hi Sheila! There was only one thing to mention to you. The top rail upstairs, it is very wobbly and needs tightened a bit. Thanks! Beautiful property and location. House is super cute!!!

Great location! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. Sitting out on the the front porch and watching the boats and trains was a big hit with my grandchildren. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Visited for Gigi's Superhero Race in Bettendorf. Close enough drive to eace, and beautiful river town to visit. Walking distance to some restsurants/bars/ice cream shoppe! Kids loved it.

Our stay at the Riverfront Chateau was fantastic. The house is beautifully redone. There was plenty of space and it had a well stocked kitchen, lovely fire pit and outdoor space. The location was super convenient - easy walking distance to shops, food and drinks including a delicious ice cream place called Scoop.
I do recommend earplugs as it is located on a busy road near a railway crossing. We were ok with earplugs and white noise. The incredible number of positives clearly outweigh this one challenge. We would definitely stay here again. It was dreamy.

Rented this house for a weekend with a large group. We loved the space - especially the patio! The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire house felt spacious enough that it was never too crowded. The host responded to messages promptly too. Le Claire has lots to offer within walking distance as well.

Nice place! Had everything we needed. Only bad thing about the place . If you wanted to go to bed early and your a light sleeper you won’t like bar across the street that has a outdoor band that plays late. We enjoyed sitting on porch and listening to the music. And sleep with white noise machine so didn’t bother us.

Perfect place to stay
Such a clean, open, and cute house. So comfy and perfect for our friends weekend. We enjoyed being able to walk to LeClaire and visit the shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Leclaire, IA getaway
We stayed at the River Chateau for three nights. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. Great views of the river; we sat outside every night and took advantage! The town of Leclaire had great food & drinks and lots of super cute shops & antiques that are all within a short walk! We would definitely recommend staying!

Relaxing Stay
We were traveling through after our daughters wedding. I was looking for a quiet relaxing place and this was it . It rained the whole time and due to it being March wasn’t a real lot to do but that was ok . We went to Antique Archeology. Drive over to Port Byron and went to Moline to the John Deere Pavilion . Slept in late watched the train go by along with the boats out of the big windows in the kitchen and living room 😊 Thanks for a great stay

Second time staying at Sheila’s and my friends and I were so happy we came back! Shelia is a great host and the house is clean and welcoming making it the perfect place to catch up with friends. Le Claire is great and offers everything from local shopping to craft beer! Would highly recommend this place for anyones next getaway.

There were 3 of us - friends since college long ago. This house was perfect for us! Clean, spacious, in good working order, very nicely furnished. Great location. Restaurants and brewery/distillery/winery were all worth our time & money! Great view of the river from living room & front porch. Soooo relaxing. Highly recommend!

Sheila’s Le Claire house was the cutest place for my friends and I to stay for the weekend. The home and town are adorable and Sheila left the cutest little touches to make our stay that much better. Would stay again in a heart beat.
