Location, right in the heart of old Brussels. Self-contained apartment that could accommodate a whole family.
Didn’t bother us, but some may not like the late night noise down in the streets below the accommodation. For us, the central location far outweighed this negative.

Location, spacious rooms, bright, clean
The building has some dangerous features. One double door leads to a gangway to a roof terrace. the other door opens to an unguarded 4m drop. It could be lethal.
The main staircase has missing wooden trims on various steps which makes the stairs uneven and dangerous.
During a huge storm it rained heavily. Water poured directly from a ceiling down the stairs and from a window surround, and other places. Water covered the stairs and half the lounge. It was so hot that this was all dry by the morning. The buidling is not water tight meaning there could be serious electrical issues.

Great location, close to everything and spacious.
It was not very clean, stains everywhere, and even a dirty rag stuck on a wall. It was also very bright and noisy for sleeping. Stairs were falling apart, which posed a tripping hazard.
