Especially if you are visiting FACEB00K, G00GLE, LnkedIn, Stanford University, and Palo Alto. Only 35 minutes from downtown San Francisco! Enjoy your stay in the peninsula with our quiet home! This newly updated home is a relaxing living including a new flat screen TV with Comcast Cable for your entertainment pleasure. Prepare a home cooked meal in the open kitchen. Equipped with new stainless steel appliances, basic cookware and dishes are available for your use! Each bedroom has a new, comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom includes two queen beds. The full bathroom also includes a shower tub combo. Our guests will also have access to the 1 car garage which includes a 2 car parking space in the driveway. This is a good place for a budget focused stay. The furniture was uncomfortable and some items were broken. Ant infestation in the kitchen. Many light bulbs were burned out. Appears to be a leak under the kitchen sink. Many patches in the walls and a stain on the kitchen wall. The filter in the refrigerator needs to be changed. More window coverings would be nice considering the neighborhood. No exhaust fans in either the bathroom or kitchen. Based on the intake process and pictures, I was expecting better accommodations. I really enjoyed the floor-ceiling to view the beautiful tree in the backyard. Suggest more seating, deeper cleaning, more cable options, needed repairs and maintenance. Location was convenient for our purposes, and the price was right; it reflects the state of the property in comparison to other options nearby.

Paid $155 for cleaning and the place is filthy, and I don’t mean dusty. Fridge smelled so bad, couldn’t put food in it. Moldy shower curtain and terrible smell. Curtains either sheer or torn so very bright at 6am. Jason would not respond, so Airbnb ended up putting us in a nice hotel.

Really enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing stay. Only had one hiccup with getting inside the property but the manager was expedient and helpful in replying. The yard was really big and the neighborhood quiet. The location is a perfect distance from many shopping areas. We really liked how much like home this place was, clean living quarters, a stocked kitchen, and secured parking. If there’s any criticism I would say the breakfast nook was a little crowded and the high table a touch wobbly but you can easily overlook that with the view into the yard. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

So the tv channels were the base quality only and with an outdated tv screen it wasn't worth watching.Half the kitchen cupboards were falling off. The place needs a makeover, or demolished.
The table to eat off was sticky and the chairs were shaky.
We left a day early because of our disappointment.

This experience was one for the books. On the one hand, the time I spent with my friends was so wonderful. We made the best of our stay. However, there were issues from the start. The internet went out due to a service outage in the area. The property management's hand were tied but one the third day they suggested we try another wifi that was already connected with the house. It worked immediately and I sent a message thanking them and also wondering why they didn't mention it sooner. We were there for an online seminar and they knew wifi was critical. After that message, they ghosted us for the remainder of our stay. I couldn't believe it. They had no response to me even after I told them the carbon monoxide and fire alarms needed new batteries. They were beeping in the middle of the night and we had to take out the batteries to get a good night's sleep. They also gave three women staying six days and five nights a total of two toilet paper rolls. We had to buy more and they ghosted us about that as well. Even when I checked out early to let them know the keys had been returned to the lockbox they ghosted us. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. We will never stay here again.

This house has a lot of potential, but boy has it seen better days. The photos they have posted are not accurate to the actual experience. Let’s start with the positives. It’s a spacious home with a nice living area, full kitchen, and two bedroom with 3 beds to choose from. I enjoyed the kitchenware provided and I appreciated the room to move around. The WiFi was relatively stable and the shower runs hot easily. That’s about where the enjoyment ends. The kitchen water both from the fridge and the faucet runs yellow and tastes horrible. We had to purchase bottled water because of this. The walls, base boards, fixtures, and switches have not been cleaned in a while which added to a grimy feel to the place. All three beds had stained sheets and hair. Some of the towels had stains as well. Rather than fixing broken items, they opted for utilizing duct tape or allowing the nails to hang out of the wall. There is rust all over the bathroom that hasn’t been addressed. The house is surrounded by other peoples properties so while you are in the living room bedroom backyard or kitchen, anyone could look in. Meaning you must always keep the blinds shut. If you are looking for a relaxing, sanitary place to stay this is not it. If you are someone who travels consistently and are not at all particular about where you stay, then you may enjoy this location.

As we were moving through the house we began noticing a lack of cleaning prior to our arrival. There were two half consumed coffee cups in the window sill of the room with two beds and all the window sills were sticky to touch. All of the comforters had stains on them that didn’t seem to come out with washing as well as a few towels. Also there were pen drawings on the walls like a renter before us let their kids draw over everything including the comforters. The toilet backed up twice during our stay and the washing machine was broken. I will say that the property owners were very quick to respond back to my emails about the toilet and washing machine. I was told the washing machine wasn’t supposed to be listed as an amenity and they gave me a $20 “Discount” for the error. The neighborhood is actually quite noisy as my sister has sensory issues with loud vehicles driving up and down the street at night and even gunshots a few nights. But it suited our needs for the surgery although rest was tough after the procedure. We were grateful to find a listing with 17 day availability.

This home was beautiful! My children loved adventuring in the huge backyard and the home is pretty nice sized. There was plenty of extra linen and towels and the fully stocked kitchen was a plus. The hosts were super professional and friendly.

There is no central A/C in the house but there are two portable A/C, one in the kitchen and one in the main lobby which take forever to cool down the house. The furniture in the lobby is not big enough to seat more than 3 people so you might want to carry your own chairs, the rug in the lobby has a lot of stains from previous visitors. The backyard needs cleaning too but the tree in the backyard provides great shade. Overall you get what you paid for. Not recommended.

at the return of our second day to the property we found that the city had shut off the water and locked the meter. the property manager / ownere advised we could go to the convenient store and buy water and they would reimburse us......

We stsyed teo nights with no weird problems. Of note the toilet sesl is wesk, but still functions. The fan over the stove does not eork. My son had to levrl the dryer do ee could use it. The drains all eork There were smple linnens and yoilet psper.

First the good news: close to Palo Alto attractions. Appliances are all new. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is clean. But, this house is definitely Not cozy. Tiny uncomfortable couch that fits maximum 3 people. Stained rug. Kitchen cabinets crooked. Many kitchen utensils old and broken. It feels depressing to stay here. The back yard is a wreck.

Place was perfect for our group!
The house and the surrounding was simply put amazing! It's peaceful and safe neighborhood, and this place should only be used by people who respect the house and the nature around it. All of us had both great common areas but also privacy as there was enough bedrooms and each had really high-quality mattresses, blankets and pillows. Area was very silent so we slept well. Kitchen was well equipped and beautiful. Everything in the house was clean and worked well.

Don't book this VRBO! This VRBO is in a bad area of town. It's somewhat transitional, but it definitely doesn't feel safe. As a female traveler, I was dismayed to see an abandoned, torn up, boarded up house surrounded by a chain link fence directly across the street and there are other lots like this nearby. Also, it's NOT "Minutes from Stanford". It's a minimum 45 min+ drive from Stanford due to traffic, so it's really false advertising as well. Very, very disappointed in this VRBO. I moved to a hotel instead, so I'm now out $800+ for my trip because the company won't work with me despite the lack of safety and false advertising.

This house is very cute and clean inside and out. However, we weren’t too sure about the neighborhood. The neighborhood is behind a very nice shopping area and everything leading into it looked really good but the further in we got, the more questionable it became. We went to get gas at a gas station a few blocks away and we were harassed by beggars. The house was extremely warm when we arrived late and we needed to leave windows open to cool it down but we weren’t sure if it was safe to leave them open all night. Again, the house itself is very nice, just be sure to ask questions about the area because we failed to do so.

While the location and neighborhood were just fine, the house was sparse, dirty and neglected. We could not sit in the livingroom because the couch was so filthy, which left only the dinette with 2/4 chairs wobbly and unsafe. The shower handle was broken; the backyard weeds were overgrown and the fence was falling down; the kitchen had very little in it in terms of usefulness including just one wine glass. The fees were exorbant - I have never been asked to pay such high fees. I figured that was the price to stay on the peninsula - $500 for 2 nights in a ****** house? No thanks. We contacted the property manager who said they appreciated the feedback. Well, thanks for nothing.

It has enough to Campus our needs
The house was beautiful and we were very fortunate to stay there. The kitchen was spacious with all the appliances that we needed. The beds are really comfy. The house had the amenities we wanted and was close enough to Campus for our needs. The wifi speed was super and adequate for 4 devices going at the same time.

Nice and quiet neighbor
This was a great place to stay. I needed to be in Palo Alto for a meeting and all the hotels in town were booked. This place has everything you need for a solid overnight stay. The beds were especially comfortable, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

We enjoyed staying here. We did have a car and it was quick access to the motorway. Nice neighbourhood which was very quiet at night. Clean and tidy with lots of cooking utensils. Comfortable beds. The washing machine didn't work but we found a laundromat which was an interesting experience as was the trip through the surrounding neighbourhood. Some lovely 1970's homes which I would not have seen if the machine had worked.
