About this apartment rental
Merbau is a stylish apartment, in a newly-built urban villa, located a short walk away from the famous Stari Grad (Old Town), boasting gorgeous views across Dubrovnik and the Adriatic. All the front rooms in the apartment lead to the large balcony which runs the length of the flat giving visitors a panoramic view of the city from the fortress of Lovrjenac to Lapad bay and the islands beyond. The outdoor dining area is shaded and is perfect for watching the sun set over the stunning Adriatic Islands to the west of Dubrovnik.

We had a wonderful time at Gordana's Apartment in Dubrovnik.She was extremely prompt responding to any questions we had. Her place is well furnished and has all the essentials. Since our flight was arriving very late she had organized coffee, tea and even breakfast essentials for us which was extremely nice. Since this was a special celebration trip, she even had a small surprise gift for us which we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. The on-site manager Nemanja met us on arrival and walked us through the apartment.Also, he went out of his way to come the next evening to show us how the washer worked.The apartment is about 10-15 minutes walk from the old town. The walk down was not that difficult but we always took Uber back.The view from the balcony is amazing. And we even enjoyed the sunset a couple of nights.Thank you again Gordana and Nemanja for a fantastic start to our trip to Croatia.

Was a lovely space, they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we could possibly need. It might be little walk downhill to the city, but each morning we walked down to the main parts of the city, then a cheap Uber back up the hill. Also no walking with you luggage like from other places. Easy access for car drop offs. Other places might need a walk from the taxi to their room.

We had a great stay, for a week. Apartment has great views, short downhill walk into town and easy to get ubers for getting back if you want to. Host is super helpful and responsive too. All in all, very highly recommended.

The property was as advertised. The owner and manager were responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Loved the location. Its out of the old city, where I would not want to stay anyway due to the volume of tourists. This apartment is a 10-15 minute walk or short cab ride from the old city, but removed from the commotion of hyper-tourism. The view is amazing and accomodations very comfortable. I highly recommend this property.
