Everyone have his personal space and facilities was clean.
You could feel the springs in the mattress, and a big booger had dried up above my head in my dorm.

Decent room and beds, decent shower.
Staff were not welcoming, we were greeted on arrival by being barked at to not wear our shoes and take them off at the doorstep on the street. It was also very inconvenient constsntly having to take oir shoes off and change into flip flops despite the owners having a dog in the lobby and in the breakfast area with zero regard for people who may have allergies or for general cleanliness. We asked about having a second key card as we were 2 in a private room and if just one of us wanted to leave the room for any reason and took the key the other person left in the room had no lights no air con etc yet we were basically told we cant have a second key (despite already having to leave a cash deposit to protect against key loss etc), and when we returned to the lobby door they could let us in - which they then did not do unless we waited and asked and had to disturb them from their phones. The breakfast was very limited, not good quality and the room was crowded and not pleasant to eat in. The hostel was quiet which was nice but at the same time had zero atmosphere and the only social space was the main entrance lobby area where the staff were sat 24 hours a day making you feel observed. The area of the city is also not convenient for public transport or getting around, even the royal palace is still about 30 minutes on foot. Kaohson road is quite close but this was a very underwhelming disappointing 'attraction'. After being recommended the hostel by a fellow traveller we met in Thailand it was a bit disappointing overall.
