Location its great. I loved that on Saturday there was a food market and all days too.
The staff were so friendly and recommended me places to visit. Also I had a situation with my key but I didn’t know and one person from the staff waited for me (3 hours after the shift) until I was back just to help me. I felt comfortable.
Loved the common area with view to the Kanal.
I didn’t like the towels. I got them in my room but after one use they smelled like humidity and rather not to use them at all. Since the walls are thin, I could hear a group of guys speaking so loudly just for short period of time. But all good.

We spent nearly a week here, as we had our flight cancelled but we had a very good time. The room is basic but with good soundproofing and very powerful air conditioning. The hostel has several common areas, with shared use of the fridge and free watee, tea, coffee, icecream and snacks. Charming location, with lovely view of the canal, 15 minutes walk from Kaosan Road. Very helpful staff, easily contactable via Whatsapp: we extended our stay and they were quick to respond. Good security features (passkey).
There are several doors at the hostel, so it is not very easy to go from one area to the other without a passkey, (not easy if your hands are full).

Fantastic location, and the terrace was amazing, although a mosquito net might be helpful at times. The private room was huge and totally worth the price. The laundry facilities were also a huge bonus. Beds were a little hard, but that seems to be common for the region in general.
The only reason I took off one star is because the bathrooms mostly lacked hand soap. This is bad hygiene no matter what, but especially for a place that has a lot of shared snacks where people stick their hands into shared containers. Otherwise, it was a great place!
