Perfect location and suitable cottage housing. Advertised as wheelchair accessible but getting in was a challenge. There are two and one half steps to get in through the front door, so we had to navigate a side walkway that had brush at eye level to go around to the kitchen. That entrance was level but there was a hole that would not allow the wheelchair to pass. I had to find some boards to get my wife inside. It only took about 15 minutes to do this. Thereafter, to get her in and out of the house, I had to move and remove these boards to get her in and out and then close the screen door. We would have just left the screen door open but the storm door glass is gone. We weren’t aware of this until Midway into our stay since the window is covered with A blind. Once we were inside the cottage everything was fine. There is one uneven place inside that requires a small ramp and the owner had prepared us for this. We really enjoyed our stay inside the cottage. There is a TV, but it is not hooked up. I called and left a message with the owner, and she apologized when she returned my call two days later for not getting back to me sooner. She said the tv is not hooked up because it belongs to another renter. Who knew? I think a small guide sheet would have helped us to figure things out. We were not sure how to operate the stove. Like most things though, we just figured things out. The owner told me that the cottage is in transition and will be repaired soon. I would definitely stay here again. The cottage has a great view of the lake, the sky, and beautiful neighbors walking up and down the path. This is a real cozy community when you come in September as we did.

Family Vacation
Family Vacation
I booked this location for a vacation to attend a family wedding. Having spent time in VB during my youth, I had forgotten how much I love visiting. This cottage was large enough for 4 adults, 5 kids (under 7), and pet friendly. The location was perfect and was a short 5min walk to the VB Clubhouse, park, and General Store. Everything was clean and self-explanatory. The cottage decor was eclectic and added to the charm. I would most definitely stay here again. It was perfect for allowing us to spend time together and make new memories with family and friends.

This cabin was so perfectly located, a very short walk to the moonlight in and store etc. the view from the front porch area and yard is gorgeous and the pictures don’t do it justice! We used the beach in front of the cabin as well as walking a very short distance to the beach by the clubhouse. The cabin itself is as it says, rustic, just how a cabin should be!You have everything you need and plenty of space! Everything was clean and tidy. We spent most our nights playing cards in the front porch looking out over the lake. We will definitely be back!
