Amazing location and scenery. Excellent trout fishing in the river and extremely relaxing. It was the perfect location to just get away from it all and recharge.

My husband and I enjoyed ringing in the New Year at this amazing property. Very nice and quiet. The hosts are amazing. They respond very quickly and are very welcoming. We can't wait to return.

We had an impromptu honeymoon here after deciding to elope. We couldn't have picked a better spot, or a more gracious host! The property was beautiful with the Chauga river at our back door. We even managed to catch a couple of tasty trout. The weather didn't want to cooperate, but we still had fun hiking and exploring the area. Would recommend to anyone who loves the mountains!

What a great stay on the Chauga River! Kay was a fantastic and accessible host. The house was immaculate. The sound of the river was beyond relaxing. We hope to return soon!

This was one of the best experiences my wife and I have had on a VRBO. Kay, the host, was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with if/when we needed anything. She also gave great recommendations on where to visit from small towns to waterfall!!! We plan on making this place a yearly tradition for us!

We had a great time trying to catch some trout and caught a few, mother nature wasn't good bad heavy rain but still had a good stay.

This property was very well what we needed. The check-in was very easy. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The river, just a few steps from the guest house, had the most relaxing sound ever . The owner thought of many small details to add to the experience of people staying there. If you need peace and quiet away from a busy life, this is definitely the place to go.

Guest House was Perfect, just as described, a little slice of Heaven for a week away with mu husband for some relaxing and adventure with so many beautiful waterfalls and hiking in the area. The Guest house was cozy and a home away from home! We look forward to visiting again.

Kay's description of the cabin was spot on and this was a problem we have had with some other properties we have stayed at in the past. She and Keevin were gracious and caring hosts and the communication was great! We had a great time and look forward to having them host us again!

We had an amazing stay at the guest house. The house is beautiful, clean, and on a beautiful piece of property. Kay was a wonderful host, sorry we missed you by the fire pit. We will absolutely be back.

The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful and clean cabin. It is the cleanest rental that we have ever stayed in! The property is beautiful too. The creek and surrounding area is so pretty. We were there in the fall with the leaves turning beautiful red and yellow and really enjoyed it. We can’t wait to go back.

The ultimate get away in a spectacular setting; beautiful fall colors beside a mountain stream. A very comfortable home with just the right amount of deluxe features. Not TMobile friendly.

In this crazy world we live in finding a place where we can be at peace is a challenge. Well, for me, this was everything I was seeking. Peaceful, beautiful location. The cabin was clean and perfect. But the best part of it all was the host and her husband. See, the morning we were to arrive my better half hurt his back severely but was stubborn and insisted we still go because he knew I needed the getaway (not to mention it was a celebration of our 3 years together). He was bedridden the entire time and the morning we were to leave...was unable too. Kay was so kind and generous to allow us to stay one more night and her husband, Keevin and a colleague actually came to help me get him to the car! The kindness that they showed us is so appreciated and I am so grateful that we have met them! You better believe we plan on booking many more stays with Kay and Keevin!! From the bottom of our hearts...thank you guys...until next time!

When we arrived we were happy to see the photos and descriptions were exactly as told. The location is a wonderful spot to enjoy nature right there or to visit nearby outdoor locations. We look forward to going back again when we stay a bit longer.

We enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. It was clean and had great snacks. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch with Lucky, playing in river and fishing.

Kay and Keevin have a little slice of heaven in Mountain Rest. They thought of everything to present their beautiful property to their guests. We had fishing poles, nets,umbrellas, flashlights. A very clean and immaculate Guest House. And yes I ate all the peanut M&M's provided in the oil can! Their place was perfect to unplug and take in everything the mountains and wildlife had to offer. We enjoyed sitting on the glider swing listening to the bullfrogs in the bog and the creatures of the air in the evening. Being on the river was such a great experience and their place held so much adventure, more than we could have asked for. They are close to all the great waterfalls in suggested hikes and other points of interest. Kay and Keevin were very accommodating and wonderful hosts. To have them close and to have some daily chats was a blessing. We plan on returning with our family next year to share this wonderful experience!

Fantastic hostess with a serene setting which was Exactly as described we were pleasantly surprised and loved the location with a beautiful stream/River making music day and night. We will definitely return to hike to a few more waterfalls all within minutes.
