A Clean Place to Sleep for a Night

The beds are clean and overall, we only stayed one night. The breakfast in the morning was nice. It had a great selection of options, which was great for those like mw with a restrictive diet. The staff faced some challenges that night, some within their control and some outside of their control. Overall, they handled these challenges with kindness and grace. One of the guests (somewhere on the second floor in the hotel) was smoking weed. There were several complaints about it, including one family with a small child, and the front desk did their best to relocate all affected guests and manage the situation.

I was a little disappointed in the quality of the room. We love staying at Country Inn and Suites hotels and had expectations that this location would be on par with other hotels within the brand/company. The room, while clean, needed some updates. The walls were scuffed and the carpet was in need of being replaced. All of this is simply cosmetic, but the biggest con we had was this. We were placed on the second floor after there were complaints about the stench of weed on the second floor. The smell of weed was so strong that it hit you as soon as the elevator doors opened. We were placed in a room on the second floor near the elevator. While we were presumably far away from the source of the smell, we could still smell it in the bathroom and in the front entry of the room. Everyone in our party has asthma, with my son having the most severe case of it, and when my husband asked to be relocated, we could not be accommodated. Again, the staff was doing anything and everything within their power to control the situation, it seemed as if a majority of the second floor was affected, so I understand that the booking capacity for the night, paired with the amount of impacted rooms could have contributed to us being unable to be relocated. I feel bad even putting this in the cons section of the review, as the hotel staff cannot always control the actions of their guests and the staff truly was doing their best. Overall, the weed smell did go away and could no longer be smelled by morning. Ultimately, we're not sure if we will specifically seek out this hotel in the future, but it is a clean place to rest for a night.

Cozy& Quiet

Cozy building. Room was very spacious with a separate living room and bedroom. Nice, as you could close your bedroom door and sleep was very quiet.

Room was a little dated. Many bathroom tiles were cracked...needs some upgrading.

Would stay there again.

The location was very nice even though it was old - very clean and breakfast was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Good restful night after the initial hitch with the room.

Convenient location, good breakfast.

We were initially allocated a room that had not been cleaned and the bed had not been remade. However, the staff were good and quickly allocated another room. Very limited choice of eating establishments in the area, if you want anything other than fast food.

Great location

The hotel was clean! The staff were accommodating and friendly! The room was big!

Even though we were on the fourth floor we could still hear the noise from the cars on the road blow. The breakfast choices were very limited. No hot food except for the waffle maker.

Not a bad study for the money but they need to let the guests know what’s not available before booking their room.

The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was very good. The shower had good water pressure. Everything was clean.

It is really dated. The one elevator didn’t work. Tv barely worked and super old. The pool was out of service which wasn’t disclosed when I booked the room.

À mon arrivée dans la chambre la porte était déverrouillée et entre-ouverte. La porte ne se verrouillait pas. J'ai dû attendre le préposé environ 20 minutes pour avoir une autre chambre. Il s'occupait des autres clients. À un moment donné j'ai cru que je n'aurais pas de chambre. Le mobilier ( fauteuil ) a besoin d'un nettoyage.

Great beds, too!

It's clean, it's reachable from the interstate, and Julius at the front desk couldn't be more helpful. This is my second day as I have family in the north so when I drive up there, this is where I will stop from now on! Breakfast was excellent!

The pool was closed for maintenance. This information was not provided to us prior to arrival. We really had hoped to go swimming.

SERVICE DOG HASSLE!

I have a seven pound service dog that sits in my arms. I went to the buffet with my dog who is hypoallergenic and does not shead, he was wrapped in a blanket except for the paw he alerts me with. He was in my left hand facing away rom the buffet and I was using my right hand to toast an english muffin. I never touched any of the "Common" or hot food. The desk clerk gave me a really hard time. Tried to argue the law with me, told me that if I had a large service dog I could not even go in the dining room. I got news! Your wrong and I will never stay at any of your hotels ever again and have reported you to the ADA.

Probably best for a one night stay with low expectations

Check in was easy.

The room was rundown. The furnishings didn’t feel clean in the sitting area. There was a mouse or rat trap near the coffee area. The breakfast was unappealing. The pool and hot tub weren’t working. The whole place felt tired.

Excellent qualité prix!

Cet hôtel est notre préféré lorsque que nous voyageons de Montréal à la Floride. Très propre! Les lits sont confortables et le petit déjeuner est très complet.

L’espace piscine n’était pas très propre. Beaucoup de cheveux sur le sol et dans le spa.

Le tarif ne correspondait pas à celui prévu pour la chambre choisie. Heureusement, le préposé à l’accueil a accepté les modifications sans frais supplémentaires.

It’s not the same quality as other country inns.

Location. Staff. Breakfast. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast area was clean and well organized.

Our sheets were hairy and dirty. It’s the first time I’ve ever slept on top of the top sheet, clothed, only covering my socked feet with covers. The walls in the room were covered filth. The floors and bathroom appeared to be clean which gave some comfort. Overall it needs a good spring cleaning. This is not a 8.1 rated hotel! I’m disappointed booking had this rating.

Great location, Price & yummy breakfast

The staff at the front desk on arrival & departure were very friendly & kind. The break fast was very good, a lot of choices. there was even french toast. Yummy. The hotel & room was clean & comfortable, the location is great its close to everything.

Although it was clean, the room & hallways need an update, a little paint & TLC would go a long way.

Enjoyable as always!

Having a full breakfast is one of the reasons I like staying here when visiting relatives in the area. I complimented the woman who was setting out the food that it was great. I also appreciate having a daily paper available.

The power strip on the desk was inoperative but I just routed the lamp cord under the desk instead. And I WISH there had been bacon for one of the breakfasts, but it was still good overall.

Loved the location but not the stay.

The location

Very outdated the carpets were very stained. Also the walls were to tore up you can tell the halls were not vacuumed. The place was just dirty. The curtains had little holes on them which sun would shine through. The beds were suppose to be queen but felt like they were fulls.
