Watch the sunrise from your own private ground-floor deck facing the ocean and the quiet 'no traffic' beach. Be on the lookout for dolphins playing in the surf! And turtle lovers, take note: The beach is a preservation area for sea turtles native to the area, so you have the chance on your early morning walk to catch a glimpse of these delightful creatures or (more likely) their nests. But wait, there's more! Need a quick snack or easy dinner without the hassle of driving there? We've got that covered, too. The famous 'North Turn' restaurant is just 20 feet away. All you need to do is walk across the parking lot and you've arrived, ready to order lunch, dinner or just enjoy drinks with friends or family either inside this well air-conditioned venue, or on the outside deck, where you can the feel the sun and ocean breeze, while listening to live music in the late afternoon or evening. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, ceiling fan and a 37in SMART (Netflix, Hulu, Prime movies) HDMI TV and DVD player and a huge walk-in closet. Sliding glass doors in both the living room and master bedroom provide a beach-front view and access to the lanai deck, where a beautiful sunrise is yours to behold. The master bedroom also features a private bathroom and walk-in shower. The guest bedroom includes two full beds, which allows you to fit up to four people comfortably. Just off the guest bedroom in the hallway is a private bathroom with a tub/shower. There are plenty of umbrellas and chairs in the unit, along with beach toys and (for a nominal charge) two beach bicycles located in front of the parking spot assigned to your condo. The well-stocked kitchen includes all new appliances (stove, refrigerator/ice maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer), a ceiling fan and garbage disposal, along with a Keurig and regular coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, blender (for those Margaritas!), pots, pans, dishes and utensils. While the spacious dining room table seats six, three more people can sit at the kitchen counter to chat with the cook while meals are being prepared. The living room features a 48in SMART (Netflix, Hulu, Prime movies) 4k HDMI TV and DVD player, along with a comfy couch and chairs that are perfect for taking in a view of the pristine Atlantic Ocean. In the mood for entertaining? You can reserve the East Winds recreation room (and its kitchen) for special occasions. And of course, every day you can enjoy the Oceanside heated lap pool that has been newly resurfaced and complemented with brand new lounge and pool chairs. Although you may not want to leave your beautiful unit, the beach or the pool, it's worth noting that you're just minutes away from Daytona shopping and local entertainment. I can't say enough good things about this condo amd the location. I spent a week with my family. The condo was fully stocked and clean. I dont like to be in the busy part of town when i come to the beach and this was perfect. Everything we needed to go to was only a short drive away.

There is nothing that could have made it better. The view of the beach from the living room is spectacular. Even when the storms kept us inside, I did not feel like I missed out because we could sit there and still see the ocean. It has everything we could possibly need. The host is amazing...best I've ever had.

Condo was very clean, nicely appointed and had great views. Kitchen was fully stocked with all items we needed. The wifi was fast and dependable. The keyless entry system was superior to using a key. The condo had an assortment of boogie boards for use.

The listing honestly does not do this unit justice. Perfect location , extremely clean very well stocked , and the view is amazing. The host is very attentive and helpful . We will definitely book again.

Can’t beat the location right on the beach and at my age the first floor location was perfect. All of the facilities in the unit worked very well and I think it has the strongest water pressure I have ever experienced in a rental.
The booking procedure was very straightforward and easy and very accommodating to the user. Highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a beachfront condominium. I only ask you don’t book it when I want it!

We were very fortunate to book a lovely condo unit right on the beach in Ponce Inlet. The property was in excellent shape and had all the amenities you can ask for. Can’t beat the location right on the beach and at my age the first floor location was perfect. All of the facilities in the unit worked very well and I think it has the strongest water pressure I have ever experienced in a rental.

Beautiful and relaxing vacation
Sandy’s Surprise was just what the Doctor ordered. We spent most of December and January there and had everything we desired. Loved the beautiful beaches, outstanding sunrises, and the awesome colors of the ocean and sky as the sun sets in the evening. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen, for the beach, and just relaxing. Thanks Sandy for providing such a comfortable place for sun and fun!

"All Girls Vacation 10" at Sandy Sunrise was the best yet!
We celebrated 10 years in a row at "Sandy Sunrise". We all agreed it was the best yet, but then we say that every year. The weather was great, the beach was beautiful and the condo was most comfortable, as always. We ventured out this year a few times. Made a few trips down to New Smyrna for shopping and dining. We had brunch at "The Third Wave" restaurant and highly recommend it. We shopped from the restaurant to the ocean on both sides of the street and made a second trip to visit the micro-breweries. We also had dinner one evening at "Down the Hatch", near the lighthouse, which we do every year. We walked the beach to the jetty one morning and just to let you know, it is a 6 mile round trip walk on the beach. Sandy's place has everything we need and is our home away from home. That's why we go back year after year and will as long as we can.

AWESOME
Location was perfect for doing other things. Local restaurants were great. Beach and accessibility were vert convenient. Big enough for our family of six with 4 teens. Oldest slept on coach because she is hard to share a bed with. Clean! Lots of extras like beach chair and umbrella, small cooler, and canopy. Restaurant next store was a nice place to have a drink, eat, and my daughters played volleyball. Spent time in Daytona, went to Harry Potter world two days and ate a new and wonderful place each night. Thinking about reserving again next year. Universal Parks cost more for two days than renting this place for 10 days.

Best condo unit in Ponce Inlet!
Just completed our stay at East Wind 1040S. It is awesome! Let me count the ways...
- Just steps away from the North Turn, the best beach bar in Ponce Inlet.
- Unit is always clean and it is very nice.
- The sunrise view in the morning is beautiful.
- The side parking lot is very convenient for loading/unloading.
- Being on the ground floor, you never get on an elevator. Nice!
- Kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need: dishes, cookware, coffee maker, etc.
- Kitchen appliances are nice.
- Pool/beach access is very convenient.
- The owner is very easy to contact and communication is clear throughout the entire process.
To summarize, I could go on and on. We have stayed here five or six times and our experience is consistently great. If I could give a 6-star rating, I would. This is a premium experience. I highly recommend that you try it out.

Absolutely the best experience during stay!
Lived in Florida all my life...stayed in dozens of different condos on beach, but this stay was by far the very best. It was clean, conveniently located on 1st floor, had all the amenities needed for a beach stay. We made wonderful memories and look forward to next time.

The furniture is clean and comfy and the beds and bedding are fresh, warm and cozy. The beach is right outside the front porch. Ponce Inlet is a very quiet and relaxed community. It’s hard to leave the beach but there’s plenty of sight seeing in the area too. We brought our bikes and enjoyed biking on and off the beach. Sandy is a fantastic host. While we were there she made sure that everything was in perfect working condition and that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We would love to return. An oasis
Clean and beautiful property in the cutest neighborhood ever! Great restaurants, great heated pool, clean and not crowded beach. We stayed for 2 weeks to get away from the snow, working and schooling remote. Couldn’t have asked for a better place!

Great spot for remote work/vacation getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at this condo! It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and Sandy has thought of just about anything you need. She was very prompt in responding to our inquiries and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. The pictures online are very accurate and the condo is nicely decorated with a clean coastal feel. We had to work during our time there, unfortunately :-( but managed to take a day or two off. There are many places in the area that are easily doable as a day trip. We went to St. Augustine and enjoyed a day touring around. I also had a lovely massage (bday treat from my boyfriend) at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort and Spa - definitely recommended! We took many lunchtime walks on the beach which is perfect for longs walks or bike rides. Overall, we just enjoyed the simplicity of hearing the waves crashing outside our window, even if it was while we were working. The wifi was amazing - 2 of us logged in and working remote with no issues for the two weeks we were there. We will definitely consider returning to this condo or one of Sandy's other ones in the future!

But being new to vacation property renting, we were concerned it may be too good to be true. We were very happy to find that we had nothing to worry about at all because the place was just as great (if not better) as the photos showed!We rented for a month-long stay for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 10 and 5). As shown in the photos, the living room opens up to a big patio and then out to a grassy area which was great for our kids to run around while we watched from the condo. We even got to see a SpaceX rocket launch (all the way south in Cape Canaveral) from there one night! Being able to park on the same level as the condo and literally right around the corner made unloading groceries (and kids!) a breeze. And of course, the wide open ocean view from the living room & kitchen & master bedroom was absolutely awesome!We enjoyed the decor throughout the condo. Plenty of couch space and dining space. There are TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. We were also doing remote work & school during our stay and the wifi service was very reliable. No issues.The updated kitchen is very well equipped. We were there over Thanksgiving and had no problem whipping up our holiday meal! Love the deep sink and large fridge! Kitchen supplies like soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and also laundry supplies were provided which was a huge bonus.There is plenty of bed space with the king in the master bedroom and 2 fulls in the second bedroom. There is also a comfy cot & air mattress for extra sleeping space if needed. Both bathrooms are updated and have great water pressure! There was even starter soap & shampoo provided!And now the extras! No need to drag beach chairs & umbrellas & towels & toys etc with you on your trip...they are all available for use at the condo. Even a boogie board! And of course getting to the beach was very convenient since it was just a few steps away. The water is quite shallow in this area, which makes for lots of sand space during low tide and plenty of shallow spots for young kiddos to play in the water. The pool is nice and heated too, which was perfect for our visit in Oct-Nov. Tennis rackets and balls are provided, for a game at the court right across the street.We enjoyed exploring Ponce Inlet.
